Rami, Owner Mr. Singh is a proud husband and father of two young children, Asees Singh and Japna Kaur Singh. Inspired by his own children and the lack of quality care available, Mr. Singh developed a passion for Early Childhood Education which led him to open The Goddard School in Murray Hill. His two children are currently enrolled in his school. Prior to this, Mr. Singh worked in Finance and has a dual major in Finance and Accounting. Mr. Singh spends most of his time playing with his children and providing them every opportunity to explore the world.

Ms Christina, Director Christina has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 15 years, 12 of those years as an Educational Director. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a dual Master's in Early Childhood and Special Education, and is in the midst of obtaining a second Master's degree in Reading and Literacy. She has a very energetic nine-year-old boy who she loves spending time with. Children have been Christina's passion since she can remember, so getting to work with them every day is so special. Her favorite children's book is "My Many Colored Days" by Dr. Suess. Her door is always open so come say hello!

Candice, Assistant Director Candice is excited to start her journey with the Goddard School and can’t wait to meet all of the students and parents. Candice holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in English with Minors in Education and Journalism. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Candice has seven years of experience working with children ages birth through 8th grade including overseas teaching where she taught children how to speak English in Bangkok, Thailand. Candice worked as the team lead at another preschool for three years where she oversaw the daily operations of the program, ensured the safety and security of the children and brought smiles to parents and children’s faces. Ms Christine, Lead Teacher INFANT - Christine has been working in early education for over 6 years. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Bachelors in Special Education. Working with children is her passion and she really believes she can make a difference in each child's life.

Kathy, Lead Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Kathy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and she is also a certified Bikram yoga Instructor. She has been working with children for the past 5 years. Kathy began her career in Early Childhood Education as an Assistant Teacher and continued her education to become a lead teacher. Kathy adores Dr. Seuss and all of his books.

Ms Carlen, Lead Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Carlen has a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science with a minor in sociology. For over 15 years, Carlen has been working with children ages 6 weeks old to 12 years and she loves her profession. Carlen believes that children are the most creative when we let them create on their own in a safe place where they are loved and cared for which is how she runs her classrooms. Her favorite children’s book is “Please, Mr. Panda”.

Marissa, Lead Teacher TODDLER - Marissa has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 2 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is currently in pursuit of her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in Fall of 2018. She loves to work with children and to watch them learn and grow.

Alicia, Lead Teacher PRESCHOOL - Alicia has been teaching in early childhood education for 10 years and loves working with children. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at Touro College in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Her favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse A Cookie" by Laura Numeroff.

Susan, Lead Teacher PRESCHOOL - Susan has been in education for over 20 years. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Math and two Master's Degrees (one in Early Childhood Education and the other in School Building Leadership). Her goal is to inspire, engage and challenge students in the classroom. She's worked with many different students with different needs so she differentiates her lessons to meet every child's developmental milestones. As an Educator, she believes it's her job to make sure all children thrive and reach their full potential.

Samantha, Assistant Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Samantha is in the process of finishing her Bachelor's in Child Development. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for 8 years. She enjoys spending time with children. Her favorite book is "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.

Nicole, Assistant Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Nicole currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in Spanish. For over 5 years Nicole has worked with Children ages 6 weeks to 17 years old. Her favorite children's book is "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henkes.

Natashia, Assistant Teacher PRESCHOOL - Natashia has been working with children since 2011. She holds a Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and a NY State Teacher Assistant certification. She believes hands-on experiences, learning through play and creativity will enhance the child’s development in every way possible. Her favorite book is "Caps For Sale" by Esphyr Slobodkina

Amrita, Resource Amrita is currently perusing a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education and History. Amrita has four years of experience working with children ranging from pre-school to 1st grade. She feels strongly about incorporating STEAM Education at the Early Childhood stage to mold our nation's future scientists and engineers!

Ms Anissia, Resource Anissia is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Anissia fell in love with teaching while working at a children's learning center prior to beginning her career with The Goddard School. I tried to pursue a degree in Nursing but my love for teaching would not allow me to do so. She has a beautiful daughter of her own. Her favorite book is Corduroy. Anissia's favorite book is "Corduroy" by Don Freeman.

Ms Daira , Resource Daira is currently attending CUNY Hostos Community College and majoring in Early Childhood Education. She fell in love with teaching children when she did her internship at a pre-school. One of her favorite childrens book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”.

Ms Tiffani, Resource Tiffani has over 2 years of experience working with children. She recently graduated from CUNY Hostos Community College and received her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. She plans on going back to school to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is determined to inspire and make a difference in childrens lives.
