Rami, Owner Mr. Singh is a proud husband and father of two young children, Asees Singh and Japna Kaur Singh. Inspired by his own children and the lack of quality care available, Mr. Singh developed a passion for Early Childhood Education which led him to open The Goddard School in Murray Hill. His two children are currently enrolled in his school. Prior to this, Mr. Singh worked in Finance and has a dual major in Finance and Accounting. Mr. Singh spends most of his time playing with his children and providing them every opportunity to explore the world.

Ms Christina, Director Christina has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 15 years, 12 of those years as an Educational Director. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a dual Master's in Early Childhood and Special Education, and is in the midst of obtaining a second Master's degree in Reading and Literacy. She has a very energetic nine-year-old boy who she loves spending time with. Children have been Christina's passion since she can remember, so getting to work with them every day is so special. Her favorite children's book is "My Many Colored Days" by Dr. Suess. Her door is always open so come say hello!

Alison, Assistant Director Alison holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and is currently in the last semester of a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Second grade). Alison has begun her NYS teaching certification exams in August of 2018. Alison has been working in Early Childhood Education for over 8 years. She has experience working with infants, toddlers as well as preschool age children.

Candice , Assistant Director Candice holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Education and Journalism and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 7 years of experience working with children ages birth through 8th grade. She even taught English in Bangkok, Thailand. She is excited to be a part of our program and can't wait to meet all the students and parents.

Christine, Lead Teacher INFANT - Ms. Christine has been working in early education for over 6 years. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Bachelors in Special Education. Working with children is her passion and she really believes she can make a difference in each child's life. Her favorite children's book is "The Rainbow Fish."

Alyssa, Lead Teacher YOUNG TODDLER- Ms. Alyssa is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and has experience working with a wide variety of age groups from birth to 5th grade. She has a strong passion for helping young minds develop and grow. Her favorite Children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff.

Nancy, Lead Teacher FIRST STEPS- Ms. Nancy currently hold a Child Development Associate credential and she has worked with children ages birth through age 10 for 22 years. Nancy chose a career in Early Childhood Education because working with young children has always been her passion. Being able to help and assist children in meeting their milestones is a gratifying feeling for Ms. Nancy. Her everyday goal is to make every child in her care feel special and amazing! Ms. Nancy’s favorite children’s book is “Where The Wild Thing Are.”

Carlen, Lead Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Ms. Carlen has a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science with a minor in sociology. For over 15 years, Carlen has been working with children ages 6 weeks old to 12 years and she loves her profession. Carlen believes that children are the most creative when we let them create on their own in a safe place where they are loved and cared for which is how she runs her classrooms. Her favorite children’s book is “Please, Mr. Panda”.

Marissa, Lead Teacher TODDLER - Ms. Marissa has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 2 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is currently in pursuit of her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in Fall of 2018. She loves to work with children and to watch them learn and grow.

Samantha, Lead Teacher TODDLER - Ms. Samantha is in the process of finishing her Bachelor's in Child Development. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for 8 years. She enjoys spending time with children. Her favorite book is "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.

Alexa, Lead Teacher GET SET- Ms. Alexa holds a Bachelor's Degree Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology. She has experience working in both preschool and kindergarten classrooms and has taught elementary aged children at a summer science camp. Ms. Alexa loves working with children because of their natural curiosity and passion to learn about themselves and the world around them. She believes in creating a community of kind and respectful leaders who seek to overcome challenges in a nurturing and supportive environment. Her favorite children's book is "Llama Llama Holiday Drama."

Sera, Lead Teacher PRESCHOOL- Ms. Sera currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education she is also in the process of completing her New York State Teaching Certification with hopes of starting her Master’s degree in the near future. Ms. Sera has been working with children for over eight years and has experience with all ages. Sera has a five year old daughter who constantly inspires her to find new, innovative ways to teach the children of the future. Ms. Sera’s favorite children book is "The Runaway Pancake."

Susan, Lead Teacher PRE KINDERGARTEN - Susan has been in education for over 20 years. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Math and two Master's Degrees (one in Early Childhood Education and the other in School Building Leadership). Her goal is to inspire, engage and challenge students in the classroom. She's worked with many different students with different needs so she differentiates her lessons to meet every child's developmental milestones. As an Educator, she believes it's her job to make sure all children thrive and reach their full potential.

Ruby, Lead Teacher PRESCHOOL- Ms. Ruby graduated from New York University with her Bachelor’s Degree and teaching certification in Early Childhood and Special Education. She has been working with children for over a decade and is passionate about creating meaningful, child-centered, play-based learning opportunities. Her goal is to build an environment in which children feel successful, empowered, and important. Her current favorite children’s book is “Red: A Crayon’s Story”.

Candace, Assistant Teacher YOUNG TODDLER- Ms. Candace holds an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Science. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies. She plans on going back to school to receive her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood education. She believes that the best way for a child to learn is through play. She has always had a passion for working with children, but she fell in love with teaching children throughout the course of her internship at a head start program. One of her favorite books is "Brown bear, Brown bear, What Do You See?" By Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.

Nicole, Assistant Teacher YOUNG TODDLER - Ms. Nicole currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in Spanish. For over 5 years Ms. Nicole has worked with Children ages 6 weeks to 17 years old. Her favorite children's book is "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henkes.

Yelitza, Assistant Teacher FIRST STEPS- Ms. Yelitza is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. She has 5 years of experience working with children. Ms. Yelitza's mother owned a family daycare center in which Yelitza assisted. By working in the daycare center, Ms. Yelitza found her calling and decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education. Working in the daycare center aided Ms. Yelitza in realizing her joy in working with children. Her favorite children’s book is “Green Eggs & Ham.”

Karina, Assistant Teacher TODDLER- Ms. Karina is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has 5 years of experience working with children. Ms. Karina chose a career in Early Childhood Education because she enjoys spending time with children. Children, of course, learn from us but we also learn from them as well. Ms. Karina also enjoys watching how eager children are to learn new things.

Receiving daily smiles and hugs from children allows Ms. Wendy to forget about all of her woes. Her favorite children’s book is “The One In The Middle is the Green Kangaroo.”

Salimi, Assistant Teacher GET SET- Ms. Salimi holds an Associate’s degree in Early childhood Education. She has been working with children for over 5 years. Ms. Salimi chose a career in Early Childhood Education because she believes that there is nothing that can outshine the smile of a child and knowing that she had a part in teaching a child something they will never forget is truly satisfying. Her favorite children’s book is “A Sailor Went to Sea Sea.”

Charlotte , Assistant Teacher PRESCHOOL- Ms. Charlotte holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Art. She has experience working with school age children in several after school and summer camp programs. Ms. Charlotte has always wanted to be a teacher! She loves engaging with children and exploring their creativity; their imagination keeps everything fresh! Ms. Charlotte enjoys drawing, painting, playing guitar and video games! Denise, Assistant Teacher PRE KINDERGARTEN- Ms. Denise holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, she plans to pursue a New York State teaching certificate in the near future. Ms. Denise has over 4 years of experience working with children. After teaching kindergarten for two years, Ms. Denise discovered her true passion for working in Early Childhood Education. She loves the curiosity and passion for knowledge that students possess. She has a soft spot in her heart for the kindness and curiosity of young children. Her favorite children’s book is "Pete the Cat & His Four Groovy Buttons."

Daira , Resource RESOURCE- Ms. Daira is currently attending CUNY Hostos Community College and majoring in Early Childhood Education. She fell in love with teaching children when she did her internship at a pre-school. One of her favorite children's book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”.

Her favorite children’s book is Roald Dahl’s “James and the Giant Peach.”

Her favorite children’s book is “Princesses Wear Pants.”
