Separation anxiety is a normal and healthy part of early childhood development. It reflects a child’s deep connection to their caregiver and their growing understanding that the world is bigger than their immediate surroundings. While it can be challenging for parents and children alike, it’s a sign that your child is learning to navigate the balance between dependence and independence.
