Originally from Cincinnati, I came to Atlanta to pursue an electrical engineering degree from Georgia Tech. After graduating, I was employed by a fortune 100 company for 10+ years in various roles of increasing responsibility and leadership. It is also here where I have three US patents credited to my name. During this period I developed an interest in the business of our organization and earned an MBA from Emory University. Shortly thereafter I had two children and all changed! Opening The Goddard School has given me the ability to be more impactful in the lives of children as well as our community. I now feel that I am making a difference. Outside of operating the Goddard School, my time is spent with my family supporting my children’s very active extra-curricular schedule. Through the years, I have been active with my children’s school where I have served as PTA president, school council member, room mom, team mom and much more. I have a love of children’s book with my favorite being The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. My now college age children credit their love of learning to their years at The Goddard School. I am a graduate of Leadership Georgia, on the Board of Directors of Ferst Readers, and active in many service organizations. My goal for our school is to create a lifelong love of learning because we truly feel that this is the foundation for academic success. We also hope that our families make a few friends along the way!

Hello, I'm LaToya. I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. I am a proud alumna of Florida State University, where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Sociology with a double minor in Child Development and Psychology in 2007, and have been working with children since. I have been apart of The Goddard School family since 2017, and I absolutely love it. Witnessing new growth, and new experiences through the eyes of a young child as they grow into the leaders of our future is something I hold very dear to my heart. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and traveling. My favorite children's book is "The Three Little Pigs" as it is such a great interactive book for all ages. A quote I live by: "Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feelings of others. Ms. Natalie is our Enrollment and Marketing Director. Born and raised in Miami, FL. She has 5 years of experience in EMS. After becoming a mother she decided to Move to GA close to relatives and pursue her career in Early Childhood Education. She is Currently enrolled at WGU pursuing her B.S in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has worked in child-care industry since 2012. She loves having a part in shaping a student's future. On her time off she spends it with her family.She also volunteers at her children's school supporting Special Needs/Autism Level l-lll Program helping kids ages 5-12.

Ms. Assata is our Lead Infant teacher. She is from South Orange, New Jersey, and began her professional journey with children in 2017. She is currently enrolled at Georgia State University to obtain her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and obtained her Associates degree in 2019. One of her accomplishments while attending GSU was making the President's list twice with a 4.0 GPA. In her spare time, Assata enjoys art and roller skating. Her favorite saying is, "Don't worry. Be happy".

Ms. Jem is Assistant Teacher in our Infant room. The Goddard School, and chose to be apart of the Goddard family because she comes from a big family. She enjoys being around children, and watching them learn and grow. In her free time, she enjoys shopping.

Ms. Keyaira is a resource teacher, and enjoys working with infants. She has been in the childcare industry since 2020 .She is currently in school obtaining her Bachelors degree in Education. She loves watching children learn and grow in her care.

Ms. Jamiya is our Toddler 2 Lead Teacher, she was born and raised in Alabama. She obtained her BA degree in Biology at Savannah State University 2023. In 2020 she started working in the Childcare Industry. On her time off she loves to spend it in the kitchen creating and indulging in cooking and also enjoys reading. She also enjoys positively influencing a child's way of thinking or doing and loves to make a difference in their life.

Ms. Jessica is our Toddler 1 Teacher. She is from Brooklyn, New York. She attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she studied Biology, as well as The University of West Georgia where she studied Psychology. She has experience working with children ranging in age from 2 months to 12 years since 2017. In her free time, she is a dance fitness instructor, and enjoys choreographing various dances. Her favorite children's book is anything from the Junie B Jones collection.

Ms. Julissa was born in Salvador, raised in GA. She is our Assistant Teacher for Toddler 1 classroom. She has been working in childcare industry since 2001.She loves to help students build self-esteem and believe in themselves and their ability to learn. On her time off she enjoys spending it with her family and friends.

Ms. Sidra is our Toddler 2 Assistant Teacher . She is originally from Punjab, Pakistan, and has been in the United States since 2015. She obtained her Associates Degree in Business Administration while in Pakistan, and is also currently studying online for Early Childhood Education. Ms. Sidra is a first time teacher, and enjoys working with the Toddlers in her classroom. She is a mommy of two boys, ages two and five. In her free time, she loves learning new things, doing arts & crafts, trying new experiments, and spending time with her family. Her favorite quote is "Spread Love everywhere you go, let no one ever come to you without leaving happier" by Mother Teresa. Her favorite children's book is The Giving Tree.

Ms. Lailaa is our Two 2 Lead Teacher. She is from Brooklyn, New York and has over 10 years of experience in Childhood Education. She loves to experience the challenge of devising and doing interesting, exciting activities for the young. She enjoys spending time with her family. She believes "One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world."

Ms. Abeer is our Lead Teacher for Bridge Classroom, she is from Lebanon. She obtained her BA in English Language and Literature from The Lebanese University .On her time off she likes spending it with family, playing basketball and fun games. She loves to teach the little ones and watch them grow.

Ms. Holly is our Assistant Teacher in Bridge Classroom. She currently obtains her BS in Environmental Science and is now in school pursuing her Masters in Science Education. She has 3 years of experience working with children. On her time off she enjoys Traveling, Outdoor Activities, and Learning about new cultures.

Ms. Roneshia is our Lead Teacher in Preschool 1. She is originally from Florida. She obtained her Associates of Arts Degree and is currently in pursuit of her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She has been working with children since 2008. She loves teaching children how to read and write, and enjoys being able to have fun with them each and every day. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her daughter and shopping.

Ms. Nicole is our Lead Pre-Kindergarten 1 Teacher, and originally from Alabama. She received her Child Development credentials in 2010, and has been working in Early Childhood Education for 27 years. Ms. Nicole enjoys teaching because she is passionate about witnessing children learn and grow. In her spare, she enjoys shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Faatima is our Pre-Kindergarten 1 Assistant Teacher. She was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, and currently pursuing her BA in Health Information Systems at Georgia State University. In 2022 she entered the childcare industry and has found a love for teaching children. On her free time she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her loved ones.

Ms. Emily is our Pre-Kindergarten 2 Assistant teacher and has over 6 years experience. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Degree in Early Childhood. In her free time, she loves spending time with her son and making memories with her family.

Ms. Naadia is our Two 2 Assistant Teacher. She was born and raised in Chicago. She has worked in childcare since 2021.On her time off she enjoy spending quality time with her son, music and romance films. She loves to expose her students to things and opportunities that get them excited about learning.

Ms. Sandra is our Resource Teacher for Pre-Kindergarten. Originally from Jamaica, entering the classroom with 14 years of childcare experience. On her time off she enjoys Traveling and Catering. Her favorite part about working with children is being able to make a positive impact in their lives.

Ms. Jennifer is our Pre-Kindergarten 2 Lead Teacher and holds two Bachelors degrees. Her degrees are from Mississippi State and Georgia Gwinnett College. She has been with The Goddard School since 2015. She has been working with children since 2001. She is ELL endorsed and loves children’s excitement for learning and being a part of their future success. She is a mother of 2 and loves karaoke and football.

Ms. Chris is our Preschool 2 Lead Teacher, she is from Auburn, GA. Obtained her ASDC in Teaching Education, she also has 25 years of experience working with ages Infant to School Age children. On her free time she enjoys reading. She loves watching the children grow and thrive.

Ms. Ashyia is our Two 1 Lead Teacher, she was born and raised in Chicago. She is currently attending Gwinnett College pursuing her BA in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". On her time off she enjoys traveling and journal writing.

Ms. Jhaylin is our Toddlers Support Teacher, she was born in Long Island, New York, raised in Suwanee. Georgia. She is currently pursuing her BA in Business Management, Minor in Spanish. She has been in the childcare industry since 2020. Her favorite book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Bill Martin. Her Favorite part as an educator is working with children and taking part in shaping their future. On her spare time she enjoys painting, hiking and exploring different Tea Shops in the area.

Ms. Breyonia is our Support Teacher for the Two's Classroom . She is originally from Gadsden, AL. She is currently pursuing her Degree in Early Childhood Education at WGU. On her time off she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She is a true believer in "Opportunities don't happen, You create them"!

Ms. Tianna is our Preschool 1 Assistant Teacher, she is originally from Milton, Massachusetts. She is obtaining her BA in Business this May of 2024. She has been in the childcare industry since 2016.Her favorite Author is Dr. Sues. She loves making a difference in children's life and loves to see the children's excitement when they learn something new in school. On her spare time she enjoys watching movies and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Litzy is our Preschool 2 Assistant Teacher. She was born in Atlanta, GA. She obtains her CDA and has worked in childcare industry since 2020. Her favorite book is "Con Mucho Amor" by Jenny Sanchez. She enjoys watching children grow into independence. On her time off she enjoys spending it with her family.
