The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) is a non-governmental, voluntary organization that accredits public and private schools and districts in 11 states, as well as schools for US students in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. SACS CASI accredits a range of schools from preschool through postsecondary, including: early childhood, elementary, middle, secondary, adult/vocational, college preparatory, special purpose, unit (K-12) and non-degree granting postsecondary schools. SACS CASI is an accrediting division of AdvancED. AdvancED is the world's largest education community, representing over 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States and 69 countries worldwide serving nearly 15 million students and is dedicated to advancing excellence in education worldwide.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

 

P21 is a national organization championing 21st century skills and serves as a catalyst to position 21st century readiness for every student by building collaborative partnerships among educational, business, community and government leaders. The Goddard School has become the first preschool program to join P21.

Child Care Aware© is the nation's most respected hub of information for parents and child care providers. A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware® helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware® also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.

Assessment tools assist teachers in making informed and individualized instructional decisions. Stress-free and developmentally appropriate for young learners, assessment tools determine each student’s level of comfort with early literacy and mathematics concepts. These tools have been vetted by education experts and are used by schools, districts and state agencies nationwide. 

The Education Excellence Award honors the top franchisee or franchisees who have gone above and beyond to provide the highest quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom.

The Philip Schumacher Scholarship was named for the retired President and CEO of Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI). This $10,000 scholarship is presented annually to a franchisee who exemplifies managing an outstanding business, commitment to maintaining and improving The Goddard School brand as well as being valued by their community and respected by fellow franchisees for his/her commitment to quality.
