Offering The Best Childhood Preparation for Social and Academic Success.

Our teachers blend the highest standards in early childhood development with nurturing care.

Dr Heena, Owner I am excited to be joining The Goddard School family! Speaking of which, my family is, and has always been, an intricate part of who I am; and I am so fortunate that I now have the ability to grow with them as members of the Peachtree City community. My husband, Ronak, daughter, Mila, and I live in Atlanta – we love the vibrancy and the buzz of the city; however, we were drawn to Peachtree City’s family-focused, tight-knit community as a place for our daughter to learn and grow. Children truly thrive in these environments! We recently celebrated Mila’s first birthday in April and will be enrolling her at The Goddard School when we open.

Helping facilitate a child’s lifetime love of learning has been an enduring passion of mine for more than a decade. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education, a Masters in educational administration and policy, and a Doctorate in educational leadership. I began my teaching career in 2008 with Gwinnett County Public Schools and just recently spent a year as a kindergarten teacher with Woodward Academy. Being a lifelong learner myself only further fuels my passion to ignite that love in others!

I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child – just ask Mila! Our family, friends, and community play a critical role in the person she is and will become. That being said, I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the village that will help navigate your child through the learning adventure they are about to embark upon. At The Goddard School, you will find a collaborative school environment, which is instrumental to the success of our teachers and students. Through collaborative partnerships among our staff with parents and our community, you will find all you need is right here at The Goddard School.

I cannot wait to meet all of you and to get started!

Dr Heena

Mrs Katie, Director What an honor and joy it is to be a part of the Goddard School, Peachtree City administration! I was born and raised right here in PTC and currently live in Newnan with my husband, Brian, son, Bauer and a little one on the way due in early December.

I received a Bachelor of Science from Point University, formally Atlanta Christian College. My background includes more than 18 years’ experience in various roles of childcare settings to include Director, Minister, and teacher. I also taught and coached dance/cheer for many years.

My passion is helping kids seek their full potential through exploration and play. Nothing is better than a child discovering that learning can be fun!

I look forward to partnering with the families and staff to journey with the kids of Goddard School, PTC as we empower them to strive for their best and be fueled by fun through learning!

Mrs Katie

Mrs Melissa, Director I am so excited to be joining the team at The Goddard School of Peachtree City! I recently made the move to Peachtree City with my husband, Andrew, and our son, Jackson. We are outdoor and animal enthusiasts and have enjoyed getting to know the people and the community down here. Jackson just celebrated his first birthday and will be coming to the Goddard School with me.

I graduated from Georgia College and State University with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I then continued on to earn my master’s degree from Piedmont University. After ten years of teaching there is still nothing that makes me happier than seeing a child’s face light up when they are learning. Goddard’s philosophy that learning should be done through fun learning experiences supports what I feel most passionately about as an educator. I am thrilled that we are able to put together a team of teachers who are eager to share and instill their love for life and learning into our young people. The Goddard school is going to provide an amazing environment, teaching our kids to be lifelong learners and wonderful members of our community- I am honored to be a part of that!

Suzanne, Assistant Director This has been my dream to work in a small private school setting with children from infancy through preschool. The Goddard School of Peachtree City offers a nurturing, child-centered, and stimulating environment for young learners. My philosophy of education starts with the importance of developing the emotional, social, and physical aspects of a young child. I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful and supportive team.

I have twenty years of experience teaching in elementary grades with Coweta and Fayette County. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Georgia State University and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Georgia. Peachtree City has been my home for the last twenty-six years raising two wonderful sons here. Both sons have graduated from Auburn University; although the oldest son is back at Auburn working on his second degree. I spend my free time watching college sports and occasional trips to the Gulf Coast to visit my extended family.

Ms Tanya , Lead Teacher Hello! I am originally from New Orleans and moved to Georgia in August 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina. Even though I am not a mom biologically, I am so happy to have had the opportunity to care for so many children since the beginning my career in May of 1987. While living in New Orleans, I was a Preschool teacher and an aide in the Pre-K classroom. After moving to Georgia, I have served as a Pre-K teacher, Summer Camp teacher, and an Education Specialist. Currently I am enrolled at Ohio Christian University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in psychology. I will be graduating in December 2019. My goal is to enhance the cognitive and social skills of every student I encounter. These developmental skills will enable each child to excel in their future academic career.
