  • Miss Ivonne

    Miss Ivonne

    On-Site Owner
    Miss Ivonne was born and raised in Mexico City. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from La Escuela Superior de Comercio y Administración in Mexico City and holds a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University. A proud Medina resident for over 22 years, Ms. Ivonne loves her community and is thrilled to be part of The Goddard School family — a place that also shaped her own children, who attended this school. Her own positive experiences as a parent inspire her commitment to providing every child with a safe, nurturing, and engaging first school experience. In her free time, Ms. Ivonne enjoys growing vegetables and flowers in her garden and hosting events at her home for friends and family. One of her favorite books is “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” because it teaches children about possibilities, choices, consequences, and rewards in a fun, rhythmic, and inspiring way.

    Director
    Ms. Molly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University and brings over 18 years of experience working with young children. She is passionate about fostering curiosity and creativity in her students, helping each child discover the joy of learning through exploration and play. In her free time, Ms. Molly loves traveling, camping, and hiking with her kids, always looking for new adventures to share together. Her favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie,” because, as she says, “it perfectly captures the endless curiosity of children — when you give them one thing, they’ll always find something else to explore and learn about!”

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Miss Elisha is our Infant Classroom Teacher. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) and brings over 7 years of experience working with young children. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment where little learners can explore, grow, and have fun every day. In her free time, Ms. Elisha loves spending time with her family and visiting Cedar Point, one of her favorite places for fun and adventure! Her favorite children’s books are the “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a…” series because she finds them silly, engaging, and so much fun to read aloud with kids!

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Miss Myra holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with a focus on Violin Performance from The Ohio State University. She brings her love of music and creativity into the classroom, inspiring children to express themselves through rhythm, movement, and imagination. In her free time, Miss Myra enjoys reading and discovering new stories. Her favorite book is “Green Eggs and Ham” because Dr. Seuss is her favorite author, and she loves how his playful rhymes and imaginative stories encourage children to have fun while learning.

    Miss Grace is part of our Twos Classroom team. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and is passionate about helping young children learn through play, creativity, and exploration. Her favorite books are the “Pete the Cat” series because she loves their fun stories and positive messages about staying cool and confident in any situation. A fun fact about Miss Grace is that she was born in Germany and grew up with seven siblings — which helped inspire her love for working with children and families!

    Preschool Lead Teacher
    Miss Ashlee is our Preschool Classroom Teacher and a proud graduate of Cuyahoga Community College, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. She brings creativity and enthusiasm to her classroom, fostering curiosity and hands-on learning experiences for her young students. Outside the classroom, Ms. Ashlee enjoys ceramics and loves creating beautiful pieces on the pottery wheel. Her favorite children’s books are the “Magic Tree House” series because she loves how the stories whisk readers away on incredible adventures through a magical tree house — sparking imagination and a love of discovery in every child.

    Preschool Lead Teacher
    Miss Jamie is our Preschool Classroom Teacher. She holds a Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and brings over 4 years of teaching experience to the classroom. Ms. Jamie is passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing at home, playing video games, and doing research for fun — always eager to learn something new! Her favorite children’s book is “And That’s Their Family” because it celebrates inclusivity and the beauty of all kinds of families.

    Pre-K Lead Teacher
    Miss Nicole is our Prekindergarten Classroom Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Slippery Rock University and brings over 18 years of teaching experience to the classroom. She is passionate about helping young learners grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence as they prepare for kindergarten and beyond. In her free time, Ms. Nicole enjoys gardening and traveling to her three children’s sporting events, cheering them on every chance she gets. Her favorite children’s book is “Guess How Much I Love You” because she read it to each of her kids when they were little — a story that reminds her of the special bond between parents and children.

    Kindergarten Lead Teacher
    Miss Amanda is our Kindergarten Classroom Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University and brings over 8 years of experience teaching young children. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging classroom where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In her free time, Ms. Amanda enjoys crocheting and baking, finding both to be relaxing and creative outlets. Her favorite children’s book is “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” because it reminds readers that things aren’t always as they seem — there’s always another side to the story!

    Substitute Teacher
    Miss Susie holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Akron and brings over 30 years of experience working with young children. She enjoys sewing, embroidering, and spending time with her five grandchildren at their sporting events. Her favorite children’s book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” is one she loves for its timeless message of hope and possibility.

    Miss Kylee is a proud graduate of Cloverleaf High School. Her favorite book, “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,” teaches young children the alphabet in a fun and engaging way — and it has always been one of her own childhood favorites! When she’s not at The Goddard School, Miss Kylee enjoys spending time with friends and family.

    Miss Priti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Bombay and brings valuable experience working with children. Her favorite book, “I Will Always Love You,” reminds her of the unconditional love shared between a parent and a child. In her free time, Miss Priti enjoys gardening and is known to be an amazing cook!

    Miss Julia graduated from the Wayne County Career Center with a focus in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite book, “Goodnight Moon,” holds a special place in her heart because it was read to her often as a child. In addition to her love for teaching, Miss Julia has a musical side — she played the clarinet for seven years!

She brings three years of experience working with children and is passionate about creating a warm, engaging classroom environment. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, walking her dogs, and traveling. Her favorite lullaby is “You Are My Sunshine,” a song close to her heart because her family sang it to her throughout her childhood.
