Our goal is to complete our staff by hiring a loving and nurturing Assistant Infant Teacher and an Assistant Teacher helping out our one year-old age groups. We have been accredited since 2011 We are among the top 5% of the 560 Goddard Schools that have received the Circle of Excellence for Education. The distinct award honors those schools who exemplify the standards of curriculum and programming Because of our quality program, we have earned a Nevada QRIS 4-Star school allowing us to provide additional benefits to our staff Why should you apply? Key Teacher Responsibilities Include: Observing children by sight and sound Collaborate with other teachers to create and implement purposeful lesson plans Create a balance of teacher directed and child directed developmentally appropriate activities Establish and maintain a nurturing, safe and healthy environment Interact and engage with children to support play, exploration, and learning Provide excellent customer services to families through written and verbal communications Requirements include: This is a full time, 40 hour a week position. The selected teacher needs to be able to work full time and be available for a 9:00 am – 6:00 pm schedule Some coursework in ECE or related field required or a commitment to start ECE coursework with in your first 90 days (through our no or low-cost options that many of our staff have benefited from) At least 1 year experience working with children in a childcare setting is required. Able to lift and carry children or other items up to 30lbs Willing to obtain a negative TB test (with in last year and prior to date of hire Willing to obtain Washoe County Sheriff's card Vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated against the the COVID-19 within 30 days of starting employment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
