Outside of school hours I love spending time with my family and enjoy traveling, reading and gardening. I am actively involved in the day to day operations of the school and enjoy interacting with the school families. After receiving a degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I embarked on my mission to create happy learners, one preschooler at a time.     Welcome to Lovable Lobsters! It is my distinct pleasure to teach in our Infant room. I enjoy every aspect of babies.... from the cuddles and giggles to watching their eyes light up when they experience something new. I understand the challenge that comes with parents having to leave their babies in the arms of someone unfamiliar. I can assure you that I dedicate my time, energy, and love to building positive relationships, adhering to your schedule as much as possible, and embracing teachable moments for our little ones.     Welcome to Huggable Hermit Crabs! My students and families know me affectionately as "Ms. Honey" and my name suits my personality. I absolutely cherish the moments that I spend nurturing my kiddos while parents are working. I'm honored to provide the care and growing experiences that babies deserve. Establishing a love for new tactile experiences, building gross motor skills, and learning to communicate are just a few of the developmental goals we work on daily. In Toddlers, my students recently transitioned from crawling to walking, from two naps to one per day, and are learning to eat finger food on their own. I embrace every opportunity to help my babies grow!

    Welcome to Rocking Rainbowfish! As a seasoned Goddard School teacher, I know the importance of creating a hands-on learning environment for preschoolers that are preparing for Private Kindergarten. Before joining Goddard, I received my ECE degree and spent over 2 decades teaching little ones. My dedication to the program is evident in every theme, every month. I believe children learn by experiencing whatever it is I am teaching. It is for that reason that I bring every theme to life in my class. I create a learning environment that will allow my students to retain the information long-term.

    Welcome to Toddling Turtles! I really enjoy teaching toddlers and watching their "lightbulb" moments when they learn new things. I believe that all children learn differently and it is important to adjust my teaching style to each student. Welcoming students with an open heart and making them feel loved is such an important part to helping them have a great experience. My class is often students first time away from from their parents, so building a bond with my kids is very important. I look forward to teaching them new things each day!

    Welcome to Jamming Jellyfish! I am honored to be a Lead Teacher for our Preschool class, implementing Goddard’s approach to learning called “Wonder of Learning.” I take great pleasure in spending my day preparing my students for Private Pre-K. It is important to meet each student on their level and extend their growth from that point. My lesson plans are strategically designed to nurture my students academically and socially. I work closely with my parents to share their child's experience and make sure that I help create happy learners each day.

    Welcome to Giggling Guppies! Our hands-on Twos program is designed to embrace the true "wonder of learning" and prepare students for a great preschool experience. We introduce many independent skills in a very motivating manner including potty-training! I believe it is important to partner with parents to accomplish the goals of our program. Through love and communication, we are able to provide a healthy learning environment for our students. I love my kids and I am dedicated to their success!

    Welcome to Private Pre-Kindergarten! My name is Angela, and my journey with Goddard started in 2016. My goal each day is help my students build confidence in their ability to succeed both socially and academically. I believe children are far more capable then we can imagine! Challenging their minds while encouraging them to be great is my way helping to make sure my students are well prepared for Kindergarten! "When we learn, we grow!" -I feel rewarded when my kids have a light bulb moment based on my teachings. My goal is to guide the development of my students in a fun and structured learning environment so they can go to Kindergarten with great confidence!

    Welcome to Silly Seahorses! As the Lead Teacher in our Preschool program, I find it to be very important to build healthy relationships with my students so that they can thrive in class. By being patient with them, and listening to them, we can understand their needs. Once kids are comfortable, they will become more social and open to the academic lessons that we are implementing each day!
