Ms Jody, Owner Jody McManus is the owner of The Goddard School in Rock Hill, Missouri. Jody earned her BA in Psychology, with an emphasis on Organizational Behavior and a minor in business. Jody and her husband Marc have two children; Morgan and Brayden. Jody and Marc decided to open their own Goddard School after falling in love with The Goddard School that their daughter Morgan attended.

Ms Lindsey, Director Ms. Lindsey is our Director of Education. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Virginia Wesleyan College and a Master's Degree in Literacy Education from Dowling College. Ms. Lindsey has been with The Goddard School in Rock Hill since it opened in 2012 and has worked with children since 2007.Lindsey is married and has two sons, Miles and Hayden. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Ms Jacqueline , Assistant Director Ms Jackie is our Business Development Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Minor in Marketing and also in Fine Arts from University of Missouri – St. Louis. Ms. Jackie has been working in the private child care sector for many years and joined our Goddard family in January 2019. She loves spending time with her husband, 2 daughters, step son & rescued pooches exploring the many hidden gems in the St Louis area. Ms. Jackie finds working with families and their children very rewarding and fulfilling and is excited to continue in that capacity here at Goddard Rock Hill.

Ms Kerry, Assistant Director Ms. Kerry is an Assistant Director of our school. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from UMSL. Ms. Kerry has worked with children since 2012 and joined our school in September 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her two sons, Isaac and Jacob. Ms. Kerry also enjoys playing soccer and teaching her dogs Lilo & Zoey new tricks.

Ms Rachel, Lead Teacher Ms. Rachel is a Lead Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She recently received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Lindenwood University. Ms. Rachel has been working with children since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys reading and watching movies. Ms. Rachel's favorite thing about teaching is being able to help others.

Ms Amy, Lead Teacher Ms. Amy is a Lead Teacher in our First Steps Classroom. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Southeast Missouri State University. Ms. Amy has worked with children since 2006 and joined Goddard in August 2013. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite hobbies are exploring St. Louis, traveling and crafting.

Ms Lucy, Lead Teacher Ms. Lucy is the Lead Teacher in our Young Toddler Classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Webster University. Ms. Lucy has been working with children since 2006 and joined Goddard in February 2013. Ms. Lucy also teaches Chess at Three to all preschool and Junior K children. In her free time, Ms. Lucy enjoys running, decorating, craft projects and taking her dog, Paisley on walks at the park.

Ms Kim, Lead Teacher Ms. Kim is a Lead Teacher in our Toddler Classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary & Early Childhood Education from Southwest Baptist University. Ms. Kim has worked with children since 2005 in many roles such as preschools, before & after school care and summer camps. Her favorite aspect of teaching is building relationships with each of the students and watching them grow while in her classroom. Ms. Kim loves to travel and her favorite destination so far has been to Australia.

Ms Julia, Lead Teacher Ms. Julia is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Classroom. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In her time at Mizzou, she also worked to obtain a certificate in Multicultural Studies. Ms. Julia has worked with children since 2016. When not at Goddard, Ms. Julia enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, and trying new and adventurous foods.

Ms Kaitlin, Lead Teacher Ms. Kaitlin is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Webster University. Ms. Kaitlin has worked with children since 2010. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and baking. Her favorite color is lime green. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching children’s excitement when they learn something new and are successful. She enjoys helping others with arts and crafts projects.

Ms Alicia, Lead Teacher Ms. Alicia is our Lead Spanish Teacher for our Toddler through Junior Kindergarten programs. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Universidad Santa Maria in Venezuela. Ms. Alicia has worked with children since 2011 and joined Goddard in 2015. She loves spending time with her husband, August, daughter, Victoria, and their family and friends. Ms. Alicia enjoys trying new restaurants, going to concerts and baseball games and taking time to visit Venezuela whenever she can.

Ms Carrie, Lead Teacher Ms. Carrie is a Lead Teacher in our Junior K Classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Webster University. Ms. Carrie has worked with children since 2005 and joined The Goddard School in 2014. Ms. Carrie has previously worked with the Education Department at the Magic House. She and her husband, Jimmy, got married in March 2017 and have a tuxedo cat named Winston and a dog named Ghost.

Ms Theresa, Lead Teacher Ms. Teri is a Lead Teacher in our Junior K Classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Behavioral Science from Missouri Baptist University. Ms. Teri has previously worked in elementary school districts but it was her love for Early Childhood Education that brought her to Goddard in 2013. Ms. Teri enjoys spending time with her son fishing, camping, exploring nature and playing video games. She also spends time doing art, crafting and working as a leader of a youth group and singing in church choir.

Erica, Lead Teacher Ms. Erica is a Lead Teacher in our Junior Kindergarten Classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and also a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Erica has taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades and this year marks her 14th year teaching! Her favorite aspect of being a teacher is the children and how much they want to and are capable of learning. In her free time, Ms. Erica loves to bowl and in college she was on a competitive traveling bowling team.

Ms Kristina, Lead Teacher Ms. Kristina is a Lead Teacher in our Junior Kindergarten Classroom. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Kristina has been working with children since 2002 as a Substitute Teacher, Instructional Aide, and Childcare Teacher. Ms. Kristina’s favorite thing about teaching is watching her students learn and grow. When not at Goddard, she enjoys watching beauty videos on YouTube and catching up on Korean Dramas.

Ms Chania, Lead Teacher Ms. Chania is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development Family Studies with a concentration on Child Development and Education from the University of Missouri. Ms. Chania has been working with children since 2011 and has been at Goddard since 2015. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and trying out new recipes. Ms. Chania also enjoys doing art projects and crafting. She loves to laugh and really enjoys working with the preschoolers for just that reason.

Mrs Michelle , Lead Teacher Ms. Michelle is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Webster University and a Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language. Ms. Michelle was part of Positive Behavior Implementation Support Team at the Elementary level for 4 years before coming to our school in 2018. Ms. Michelle enjoys getting to know each child as an individual and teaching her students to appreciate our differences. When not at Goddard, Ms. Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their Great Dane Charli.

Elizabeth, Assistant Teacher Ms. Beth is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is currently studying for her Public Health Degree to go into Nursing at Lindenwood University. Ms. Beth has worked with small children for the last three years including her very young siblings. She is always amazed at what the little ones are capable of achieving at such a young age. When she’s not studying or working, she loves to read in her spare time!

Ms Julie, Assistant Teacher Ms. Julie is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She has been working with children since 2012. Ms. Julie loves spending time with her two grown daughters. She also loves working with infants and loving on the babies while nurturing their development. Ms. Julie joined our school October 2015.

Ms Jennifer, Assistant Teacher Ms. Jen is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps Classroom. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and adventuring with her new husband, Joe. Ms. Jen has worked exclusively with infants and toddlers since 2013 and joined our school in November 2016.

Ms Rebecca, Assistant Teacher Ms. Becky is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps Classroom. She has an Associate’s Degree in Teaching from St Louis Community College and is working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education from UMSL. Ms. Becky has worked with children since 2016 and joined our school in July 2016. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Donnie, and playing with their cat, Bo.

Ms Allyssa, Assistant Teacher Ms. Allyssa is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler Classroom. She comes to us with several years of Goddard School teaching and classroom experience. Ms. Allyssa is currently a weekend children’s Tinkergarten Leader and a jewelry artist in her spare time. Her favorite aspect of working with children is seeing the ‘light bulb’ go off and taking advantage of those ‘teachable moments’!

Ms Chandler, Assistant Teacher Ms. Chandler is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler Classroom. She recently graduated from Kirkwood High School and is about to begin Nursing School. Ms. Chandler has worked with children since the age of 14 as a babysitter and also as an assistant to her mom, who owned her own childcare center. Ms. Chandler enjoys teaching children and creating bonds with them. Her favorite thing about teaching is interacting with the children and hearing all of the funny things they say as they explore.

Ms Jacquelyn , Assistant Teacher Ms. Jacquelyn is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool Classroom She is currently working on her Nursing Degree at Meramec Community College and hopes to transfer to UMSL in the fall. Ms. Jacquelyn has worked with children for several years in the capacity as a swim coach, camp counselor and in a daycare setting. Her favorite thing about teaching is learning the personality of each individual child. When she’s not working or studying, Ms. Jacquelyn loves to hike.

Ms Tonya, Assistant Teacher Ms. Tonya is an Assistant Teacher in our school. She studied Early Childhood Education at Florissant Valley Community College and has been working with children for 16 years. Ms. Tonya volunteered for 7 years in the St. Louis Public School District working with children in Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade and then went on to become an Assistant Facilitator for the Lindbergh Early Childhood Center for 9 years working with Two, Three, and Four-year-old children. In this role she honed her skills as an Early Childhood Teacher and worked to ensure that her students’ days were spent with love and learning. Ms. Tonya’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing a child master a new skill, the excitement on their faces is simply thrilling. She loves to see how her students evolve from Fall to Summer.

Ms Alisa, Resource Ms. Alisa is an Assistant Teacher in our Young Toddlers Classroom. She attended Saint Louis Community College and has enjoyed working with children since 2013. Ms. Alisa joined our Goddard family in July 2018 and has been working to form connections with each child in her care as she watches them develop into themselves. When not at Goddard, Ms. Alisa volunteers at Riverside Wildlife Park and has a passion for helping those in need. One day she aspires to open a Wildlife Learning Park and take care of more than 20 animals as she teaches children about nature and wildlife.

Ms Carla, Resource Ms. Carla is a Substitute Teacher at our school. Ms. Carla has been working with children for 28 years in various roles within the Brentwood School District. She has taken several Early Childhood classes at Meramec Community College to hone her skills as a Teacher’s Assistant and grow her teaching capabilities. Ms. Carla has a passion for working with young children and loves to watch as they learn and grow. She has a knack for keeping the children in her classroom engaged in activities and fostering child development.

Mr David, Resource Mr. Dave is the Goddard School in Rock Hill's chef. He has been working at Goddard since 2012. He enjoys coming up with new ways to get the children to try nutritious snacks and meals.

Ms Jahrae, Resource Ms. Jahrae is an Assistant Teacher in our Get Set Classroom. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Harris Stowe State University. Ms. Jahrae has over 8 years of extensive experience working with children in many capacities and environments. She enjoys seeing the growth of a child and most importantly when they succeed at a difficult task and the joy they get out of their own accomplishment.

Ms Korianna, Resource Ms. Kori is a Substitute Teacher for our school. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lindenwood University. Ms. Kori has worked with children since 2010 and has been with us at Goddard since June 2017. In her spare time, Ms. Kori enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and kayaking.

Ms Megan, Resource Ms. Megan is a Substitute Teacher within our school. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Truman State University and then plans to obtain a Master's Degree in Education. Ms. Megan has many years of experience working with and taking care of children. She loves having the ability to be a positive influence on how children see and explore the world around & outside the classroom.

Mr Sean, Resource Mr. Sean is a Substitute Teacher within our school. He has is Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Evansville. Mr. Sean has worked with children for several years and most recently he spent two years teaching English to preschool aged children in China. The aspect of teaching that he enjoys the most is watching the students grow in knowledge. Mr. Sean has 2 cats at home named Hagrid and Sagwa.
