Mr Joe, Owner Joe received his bachelor’s degree from Immaculata University and is an Air Force Veteran of eight years, serving overseas in England. His professional life has been devoted to innovation and strategy within the technology realm; helping companies develop road maps to continuously drive improved programs and services.Joe is thrilled to provide The Goddard School’s outstanding program to the children and families in the Newark community. He and his wife, Stacey, are raising twins of their own and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment, which is why they chose The Goddard School.
He's also an active volunteer for DFRC, Delaware Foundation for Reaching Citizens with intellectual disabilities.

Mrs Kimberly, Director Kim has been with The Goddard School since July 2000 and is the Director of Operations. She has worked with every age group from infants to school age. Kim completed her bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and Counseling at Wilmington University. Kim loves being an advocate for children and helping families support their children with their development. "I love watching and helping children grow and learn. I love providing them with the tools to be happy, successful and confident children. I equally love helping families with the encouragement, support and tools to provide their child with everything they need. Watching the excitement when they accomplish their goals or see their growth is so very rewarding."
In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her children and family, watching movies and is a huge superhero fan!

Mrs Lisa, Assistant Director Lisa is the Assistant Director, Curriculum Coordinator and Pre-K Teacher and has been working in early childhood education for sixteen years. Lisa graduated from Hiram College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Lisa loves watching the children grow and develop from babies to big kids with unique personalities and opinions. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys hiking and camping with her son.

Kylee, Lead Teacher Ms. Kylee is the Infant Teacher. Kylee is a graduate of the University of Delaware.


Miss Rebecca , Lead Teacher Rebecca is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Rebecca has been with The Goddard School for two years. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors degree in English. She then completed TECE 1 & 2 to become a certified early education teacher. Rebecca loves being able to give a child the developmental elements of learning to help impact the way they will learn for the rest of their lives.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys catching up with friends, shopping, going to concerts, the beach and making kids smile.

Mrs Sindy, Lead Teacher Ms. Sindy is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. Sindy has been working in early childhood education for over ten years. She believes teachers who love teaching, will teach children to love learning.
Sindy has 2 children; one in high school and one in college. She enjoys spending time with her kids, family as well as listening to music and cleaning.

Ms Amanda, Lead Teacher Ms. Amanda is the Lead Teacher in the Older Toddler classroom. She has been in the field for over seven years. She has her early education credentials through Del Tech. She believes children learn through play.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with family.

Miss Alexandra, Assistant Teacher Miss Allie is an intern and has three years of experience in early childhood education. She is currently a junior at the University of Delaware. Her teaching philosophy is to meet the needs of all children in all aspects while giving them the love and support they need.
In her spare time, Allie enjoys figure skating and skate boarding.

Mrs Ivory, Assistant Teacher Ivory Tomlin has a Bachelor's degree in English and a Masters degree in Education from Wilmington University. She started at The Goddard School in February, 2013 as an Assistant in our Older Toddler Class and was promoted to the Infant Lead Teacher in May, 2014. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, Miss Ivory worked at the Jewish Community Center for 2 years as a preschool teacher as well as being the Education Director at the Boys and Girls Club in Claymont.

Miss Ivory has a daughter, Kennedy, who attended Goddard School before moving on to elementary school.

Mrs Krista, Resource Ms. Krista joined the Goddard School-Newark in 2003 and taught Get Set, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms before assuming the position as the Director of Education. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University as well as additional credits in Early Childhood Education. Before moving to Delaware, Miss Krista taught at several different preschools in the West Chester area of Pennsylvania.
