Job Overview

Our early childhood program focuses on learning through play. As a lead teacher in our premier early childhood center, you'll be responsible for:

-Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
-Creating project-based lesson plans to advance each child's physical and intellectual competence.
-Interacting with the children in your classroom to support play, exploration, and learning.
-Adapting the program and lesson plans to meet the individual needs of the child.
-Establishing positive family relations by communicating professionally and inviting families to be a part of their child's learning experience.
-Performing observations to be documented in each child's portfolio.

Lead Teacher - Full Time

A lead teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Our teachers support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance, all while promoting our "learning through play" philosophy and educational objectives. Additionally, a lead teacher is responsible for working in a team environment with an assistant teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.

We are looking for teacher-qualified individuals who have a bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or a related field, a minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed center, and a demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
