Shauna opened The Goddard School in Redmond Ridge on February 25, 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University in Special Education with a minor in Psychology. She returned to City University to receive a Master's Degree in Reading Literacy. As a teacher and mother of two, she is dedicated to providing a nurturing educational environment in which each individual gains the confidence to explore and discover their world. She strives to offer the BEST Early Childhood Program around the Redmond area. She lives in the Redmond Ridge community with her husband Jeff and their 2 amazing children. On her free weekends she enjoys watching her son play baseball for WSU Cougars.

Tina joined our team here at The Goddard School on October 13, 2014. She has a BA in Earth & Space Sciences from the University of Washington and a Minor in Education. She has proven background in Science Education and over 20 years of experience working with children. She was previously a lead teacher in our Raccoons Class from 2011-2013 and is excited for her career to grow with The Goddard School of Redmond Ridge! Her favorite color is Aqua. Her favorite time of year is the beautiful green summers we have here in the Pacific Northwest. When not working, Tina enjoys spending quality time with her family! She also enjoys reading, gardening, horseback riding, and traveling.

Haley joined the team at The Goddard School on December 20th, 2021. She has over 10 years of experience working with children in various capacities. She currently holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Bellevue College and she is currently a student with Washington State University, working towards her BA in Human Development. Ms. Haley previously taught here at The Goddard School between 2014 - 2017. She loves providing engaging activities and teachable moments to the children every day. Her favorite color is green and Fall is her favorite season because she loves watching the pretty the leaves falling and the temperature is perfect. She enjoys fishing, hiking, hunting and gardening in her spare time.

Sharon joined The Goddard School – Redmond Ridge on June 14th 2021. She holds an A.A. in Early Childhood Education, a B.A. in Business and an M.B.A. from Baylor University. She has over 15 years of experience working in Early Childhood with a wide variety of age groups and positions. She admires children’s fresh look on the world and their optimism. She also relishes their sense of wonder and building them up to be confident learners and good people of the world. Her favorite part about teaching is helping a child making a new connection. Fall is her favorite time of year because it is harvest time and a time to be thankful for the abundance of the Earth. She loves the smells, the change of weather, farms, and the colors! Outside of work, Sharon enjoys walking outdoors, gardening, reading and learning.

Kyla joined The Goddard School - Redmond Ridge on July 17th, 2023. She has over 8 years of Teaching experience and holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working with children because she loves showing children that they matter! She also loves seeing children learn from each other. Her favorite time of year is the Fall because she loves Fall sports and the beautiful leaves. Outside of work she enjoys cycling, reading, soccer, and playing with her cat.

Andrea began teaching at The Goddard School on September 25, 2017. She holds an associates degree from Everett Community College in Education. She was previously a lead teacher in our Foxes Class from 2017-2021 and is excited for her career to grow with The Goddard School of Redmond Ridge! Fall is her favorite time of year because she enjoys the apple cider and reading by the fire! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and talking walks outside.

Sonja joined The Goddard School on May 9th, 2022. She has previous experience working with child in childcare settings and babysitting. Her favorite part about working with children is getting to watch them grow so fast - right before your eyes. Her favorite part about teaching is when you get to watch a child learn and execute a new skill. When she is not working, she enjoys working with animals and riding horses.

Mara joined us on April 17th, 2023. She is currently pursuing a degree in Education with the University of Arizona (GC). She has 5 years of experience working with children in various capacities. She enjoys getting to explore children's different interests and curiosities, and learning how they all see the world. Her favorite part about teaching is getting to learn alongside the children, getting to watch them learn and grow. Outside of work Mara enjoys hiking or being in nature, reading and writing, and being with family.

Bhavana joined The Goddard School on January 25th, 2023. She has experience volunteering in local Elementary and middle schools. She enjoys working with children because she enjoys watching them learn and grow. Her favorite part about teaching is storytelling and reading, singing songs, and helping them learn to engage with their peers. Her favorite time of year is Spring & Summer since it is bright, warm, and colorful! She also enjoys Diwali & Christmas time too! Outside of work she enjoys listening to music, watching tv with family, and catching up with friends.

Sophia started with The Goddard School of Redmond Ridge on Aug. 18th 2021. She has over 7 years of experience teaching in a wide variety of positions. She has achieved her Child Development Associates degree. She enjoys working with children because she enjoys watching them learn new things every day and she also enjoys making learning fun for all the children in her care. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the summer sunshine.

Adara started with The Goddard School of Redmond Ridge on Aug. 21st 2023. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education & Special Education through BYU-Idaho. She has 4 years of experience teaching in a variety of education settings. What she enjoys most about working with children (other then their hugs and smiles) is the light in their eyes when they learn something new. Her favorite season is Spring because of all the beautiful flowers. Outside of work, Adara enjoys picking berries, reading to her children, and playing games.

Toni has been with The Goddard School since Jan. 11th, 2021. She has achieved a Child Development Associates degree. She enjoys getting to watch children grow and learn/develop new skills. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to interact with the children and helping them expand their imagination. Her favorite time of year is Winter-time because of the festive season. Outside of work she enjoys photography and art.

Alex joined The Goddard School as of March 20th, 2024. She has a background working with Toddlers and Preschool age students and is excited to connect with the students and families in her classroom. She enjoys working with children because she enjoys seeing how unique and special each child is in their own way. She love the colors of the leaves in the Fall and the cool brisk air. Outside of work she enjoys working on cars, going on rides/drives and spending time with family.

Florence joined The Goddard School on Oct. 17th, 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a focus on Teaching from The Evergreen State College. She has experience working with children in a variety of capacities, including Childcare Educator, a Nanny, and most recently as a Behavior Technician. She enjoys working with children because she loves seeing them grow, develop, and make new discoveries. Her favorite time of year is Springtime because she enjoys seeing the plants come back to life. Outside of work she enjoys pursuing a variety of hobbies including art, crochet, history, natural science, disability advocacy, & mental health awareness.

Kayla joined The Goddard School on Nov. 14th, 2022. She is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Lake Washington Tech and has over 2 years of experience working with children in a variety of capacities. She enjoys working with children because she loves watching them grow and develop into their own person. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing how interested and curious the kids are in what they are learning. Her favorite time of year is Fall because of the beautiful colors of the trees and the cozy atmosphere. Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring outside in nature, drawing, swimming, and singing.

Kaitlyn joined the teaching team at The Goddard School - Redmond Ridge on August 7th, 2023. Kaitlyn recently relocated from Arizona and has over 1 year of experience teaching in toddler classrooms. She enjoys watching the children in her care grow intellectually and emotionally. Her favorite part about teaching is forming relationships with each child in her classroom. Fall is her favorite season because she loves pumpkins and sweaters! Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and working out.

Sayana began teaching here at The Goddard School on June 22nd, 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Central Washington University. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to experience how children learn and grasp new concepts. She enjoys working with children because she gets to watch each child grow into their own personality. Her favorite time of year is Springtime because her birthday is in the spring and there are so many fun colors! When she is not at work, Sayana enjoys hanging out with friends & family, painting, and baking cookies.

Massai joined The Goddard School - Redmond Ridge as a Lead Classroom Teacher on Aug. 24th, 2023. He holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education through Lake Washington Institute of Technology has 1 year of experience teaching preschool. He enjoys getting to share experiences with the children in his care and seeing their “Aha” moments. His favorite time of year is the Summer because of the nice weather. Outside of work, Massai enjoys strength training, gaming, and martial arts.

Victoria joined The Goddard School -Redmond Ridge on February 27, 2024. She has over 3 years of experience as both a Co-Teacher & Lead Teacher teaching children in Preschool & Pre-K. She enjoys working with children because the are always teaching her new things. When she is not working, Victoria enjoys spending tie with family, going on trips and drawing. She loves the colors of Autumn and the cozy weather that comes with it.

Deb joined the team at The Goddard School on April 15th, 2019. She has an 8 year old daughter of her own and she has volunteered frequently at her Elementary School. She loves interacting with children and she enjoys encouraging children to explore! Spring is one her favorite seasons because there are flowers everywhere, longer days, and warmer weather. Outside of work, hiking, photography, baking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Megan joined The Goddard School on March 27th, 2023. Megan has 3 years of experience teaching and she is currently working on her education in ECE. She enjoys working with children because she appreciates getting to help them achieve their milestones. Her favorite part about teaching is the fun crafts! Her favorite time of year is the Summer because of the sunshine! Outside of work she enjoys music, sports, and Star Wars!

Sophie started with The Goddard School - Redmond Ridge on October 24th 2023. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and a minor in Education from the University of Puget Sound. She has over 5 years of experience working with children in a variety of capacities. She enjoys working with children because of their curiosity. She loves to watch her students experience new skills and feel accomplished. Her favorite part about teaching is the questions students ask. She loves helping them find and learn the answer for themselves. Her favorite time of year is the Fall because of warm apple cider, pumpkins, fall leaves, and the crisp air makes her feel at home. Outside of work she enjoys reading, taking care of her tuxedo kitty, and seeing live music.

Michelle joined The Goddard School on July 21st, 2022. She has over 10 years of experience working in Education. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has experience teaching Kindergarten. Her favorite part about working with children is getting to see them achieve a task they have set out to complete. Her favorite part about teaching is the connection she builds with each one of her students and she loves seeing how fast they take in information. Her favorite time of year is the Fall because she loves watching the changing of the leaves. Outside of work she enjoys reading and playing outside with her 3 boys.

Geena joined The Goddard School on July 5th, 2023. She has 6 years of experience teaching and is pursuing a degree in Education. She enjoys working with children because of their love for life and getting to witness their growth through the year. Her favorite part about teaching is the students' excitement and those fun "Ah Ha!" moments. Her favorite children's book is "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie". Outside of work she enjoys reading, baking, seeing family, and pilates.

Heather started with The Goddard School on August 17th, 2022. She has 12 years of experience working as a Lead and an Assistant Teacher and she holds an ATA in Early childhood education through Everett Community College. Her favorite part about working with children is being able to help them reach their developmental milestones. She really enjoys story time and classroom sing-a-longs! Outside of work she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, exploring new areas of her community, & crew.

Meghan joined The Goddard School on July 10th, 2023. She has 3 years of experience teaching and is currently working on her Early Childhood Education Degree through University of Washington. She enjoys working with children because they are filled with so much wonder and joy, and she enjoys seeing the world through their eyes. Her favorite part about teaching is getting to help each child pursue their interests and then seeing their joy when they have succeeded. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys reading, videogames, swimming, and D&D. Fall is her favorite season because she likes the cool air and colorful leaves.

Bilal joined The Goddard School on Oct. 31st 2023. He has over 2 years of experience teaching preschool and toddler ages. He is currently working on his Psychology degree at the University of Washington. His favorite part about working with children is meeting where they're at and watching them grow and develop into the best little people. His favorite part about teaching is seeing the impact his energy has on the children in his care. Spring is his favorite season because it is so pretty! Outside of work he enjoys off-roading in his car with his friends.

Swati joined The Goddard School on March 1st, 2023. She has a certificate in Early Childhood Education and has previously worked as a Kindergarten teacher as well. Her favorite part about working with children is their smiles. She enjoys teaching because she gets to watch them grow and she gets to learn from them too. Her favorite time of year is the Fall because she enjoys seeing the surprises mother nature has in store with the beautiful colors! Outside of work she enjoys meeting new people and learning about new cultures.

Alexis joined The Goddard School in Redmond Ridge on August 16th, 2023. She has 4 years of experience babysitting and multiple years of customer service skills. She enjoys working with children because they are free-spirited and positive. Her favorite part about teaching is when her students find an activity particularly inspiring. Her favorite time of year is the Winter because of the chilly weather and the snow! Outside of work, Alexis enjoys gaming and spending time with her dog.

Andrea joined The Goddard School on Sept. 11th, 2020. She has achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Literacy, Learning, & Leadership from the University of Arizona. She has been working with children in a variety of capacities since 2018. Her favorite part about working with children is getting to see each child grow and grasp new concepts. Summer is her favorite time of year because she loves the warm weather and going on vacation with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends & family and boating/wake surfing on Lake Sammamish.

Gracie joined The Goddard School - Redmond Ridge in Feb. 2021 as a part-time staff member. After graduating High School in 2023 she has taken on a full-time position with our school. Gracie enjoys getting to watch the children learn and grow and her favorite part is seeing them discover new things. Outside of work she enjoys music and art. Her favorite time of year is Fall because of the beautiful colors of the leaves.

John joined The Goddard School on February 27, 2024. He graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. John has been in Early Childhood for over 5 years, as well as tutoring students after school. His favorite color is blue and enjoys reading. He enjoys fall and the colors of all the leaves. Outside of school, John enjoys creative writing, working out and spending time with friends.

Karen joined the team at The Goddard School on February 23, 2016. She has two children of her own in and volunteers frequently at the Elementary School. She loves interacting and engaging with children because of their curiosity and joy! Spring is one her favorite seasons for the renewal and lengthening days. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, biking and spending time with her family.

Sheri joined The Goddard School family on February 18, 2008. She has been a lead teacher in several of our classrooms throughout the years. She currently also functions as the school's Nutrition Coordinator. She has over 25 years of experience working with toddlers in a variety of settings. She is excited to provide and help teach healthy choices for the children in our care. Her favorite color is blue. She loves all seasons and the sights, smells, and sounds that come with each one. In her free time she enjoys photography, sewing, reading, and cross-stitch.
