  • Amanda

    Lead Teacher - Infant III
Hello, my name is Amanda. I am the lead teacher in the Steppers' room. I have worked in a child-care school for more than five years, but as a mom to five children, I have had my share of experiences! I have always enjoyed being around children ages 12 to 24 months. They are so impressionable and eager to learn about everything. It never ceases to amaze me how much they absorb at this age. In our class, we read a lot and prep them to be more independent, such as getting up to throw away their lunch plate or giving their cup when they are done. I get sad when my students graduate and leave my classroom, but I know they are ready for new challenges. I have five children- 5, 9, 10, 13, and 15. We also have a family dog. Our favorite family activity is playing outdoors in the park and going to the lake. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of your family!
