    Owner
    Mr. Amar is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School of Rocky River, Ohio. He obtained his Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Public Health and Healthcare Management. Prior to The Goddard School, Amar was in the Long Term Care Industry where he served as an Administrator. Amar lives in Avon Lake with his Wife, Rima, daughter, Mila, and son Sahil. Amar is extremely proud to be a part of The Goddard School where he can provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children to begin the process of becoming lifelong learners! Amar invites your family to tour the beautiful new School in Rocky River!

    Leadership
    Ms. Cera is part of the Rocky River leadership team. She comes from a background that includes being a school director for Goddard for 4 years and part of Goddard Systems as a franchisee consultant. Additionally, she was an elementary school teacher and got her start in education as a toddler teacher. She is a mother of twin boys that attended the Goddard School in North Ridgeville. She is excited to be a part of the team at Rocky River and to provide an exceptional experience for all the children that attend the school. Come check us out!

    Ms. Katie is the Director at the Goddard School of Rocky River. She comes to us with 2 years of experience as a Director at a Goddard School and 13 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. Ms. Katie is the mother of a Goddard School graduate, and her son Nolan currently attends our school. She loves Cleveland sports, reading, and spending time with her family. Ms. Katie believes that a strong early childhood education leads to lifelong learners, and she can’t wait to help the kids at Goddard Rocky River grow!

    Ms. Kelley is our Lead Infant I Teacher. She is dedicated to enriching the lives of children she cares for. She has spent most of her professional career with this goal in mind. Miss Kelley is all about encouraging creativity, engaging with the children, and bringing out the best in each and every child. Miss Kelley loves that she gets to be a part of a child’s life that influences the person they grow to become.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Kathleen is one of our Infant I teachers. She has her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Kent State University. Upon Graduating, she spent some time working with Ohio Guidestone focusing on children and mental health as well as with DCFS. Her favorite part of working with children is watching their eyes light up when they are experiencing something for the first time.

    Ms. Jordan is one of our Infant II teachers. She has been in childcare for the past year and while she is newer to childcare, she is not new to children. Ms. Jordan has two children of her own who are three and five years old. Her Motto is every child learns differently and it's our job as educators to figure out how they learn. Ms. Jordan loves the outdoors specifically hiking and camping.

    Ms. Caitlin is one of the Infant II teachers. Ms. Caitilin has always had a love for children and babysat throughout most of her life. This passion is what led her to the Goddard School! Her favorite part of working with infants is helping them achieve their developmental milestones. Outside of the school, you can find Ms. Caitlin spending time with her one-year-old son as well as spending time outdoors camping!

    Ms. Alketa is one of our First Steps Teachers. She has two children of her own, one of which is a student here! Her favorite part of working at Goddard is when all the students begin to spontaneously laugh together. She is very family oriented and when she can she loves to go on long walks!

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Lauren is one of our Young Toddler Teachers. She has one daughter that goes to school at The Goddard School as well. She has an associate degree in veterinary technology from Penn Foster College and is currently finishing her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Ashworth College, with the hopes to someday be a second-grade teacher. In her free time, Ms. Lauren enjoys exploring new places including Aruba, Bonaire, La Romana, and Amber Cove. She also enjoys being outdoors and riding her horse, Dakota. Her favorite part about working at The Goddard School of Rocky River is that it is a very welcoming and family friendly environment. She is extremely grateful for all the new friends she has made and families she has begun to connect with.

    Ms. Christina, also known as Tina by the children, is our Toddler Teacher! She has been with the Goddard School since April of 2021. She has spent numerous years in childcare working with Infants all the way to School Aged Children! She enjoys helping the children develop and become excited when they try and learn new things! The thing she loves the most about working with children is the creativity and imagination they bring each day. Ms. Christina’s goal is to make the classroom a safe and fun place for your child to thrive!

    Co-Lead Teacher
    Ms. Tiffany is our Co-Lead Toddler Teacher! She has worked in childcare for over two years. Prior to joining the Goddard School she worked in the healthcare field for many years working with individuals with special needs as well as serving as a paramedic. She is multi-talented and we are very excited to have her on our team! She has two children, one of which is attends our school! When she is not spending time with her family you can catch her bowling! Ms. Tiffany averages in the 280’s and comes from a family of bowlers- some who compete on the professional level.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Nadia is one of our Get Set 1 teachers. She is currently working on getting her associate in early childhood education at Cuyahoga Community College. Nadia also did a Westshore program for early childhood education for two years at Rocky River High School and Lakewood High school. Her favorite part about working at Goddard is getting to see the kids play outside and enjoy with their friends. In her free time, Ms. Nadia likes to spend her free time in the gym with her friends or spend some family time with her siblings and cousins!

    Ms. Pamela is from Albania. She moved to the US two years ago. She’s been working as teacher since 2022. She has studied English and German and she is looking forward to getting her bachelor's degree. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. One thing that she really enjoys is working with kids, keeping them safe and making their day fun!

    Ms. Ashley is a co-lead Get-Set 2 Teacher. She loves working with children of all ages. She has two children of her own who are 4 and 15 years old. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know each of the children and helping them foster their growth within the school!

    Ms. Randa is one of our Get Set 1 teachers. She previously managed a retail store of her own for 10 years, but switched to childcare due to her love for children. Ms. Randa has 5 daughters of her own! Her favorite age group are the infants as she loves to care for “her babies”, but you can find her throughout the school helping in any and every way!

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Nova is one Preschool 1 teachers. She recently graduated from high school and is interested in being an aesthetician in the future, she also loves painting in her free time. She’s very family oriented, comes from a big family which made her interested in working in childcare. Ms. Nova believes that every child is special in their own innocent way.

    Ms. Sara is our Preschool II teacher. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cleveland Institute of Art. Her favorite part of teaching is making it fun for the children! In her free time, Ms. Sara loves to be with nature, which is also inspires a great deal of her artwork!

    Ms. Danielle is one of our resource teachers. She has her Child Development Associates in preschool and over 10 years' experience working in a childcare center. The first years of a child's life are so important for development and Ms. Danielle loves that she can help shape the minds of young children through kindness and love. Her favorite part about teaching is watching the children learn through play and explore. In her free time, she loves to go on adventures with her husband and young son.

    Mr. Mason has been a part of our Goddard family since October of 2021. He began as a floater and transitioned into Preschool III. He has his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Cleveland Institute of Art. Mr. Mason's favorite part of the class is developing a bond with each child in order to achieve their classroom goals.

    Ms. Dani is our Assistant Preschool 3 teacher. She has her childcare development associates' certificate for infants and toddlers and has been teaching young children for 5 years. Her favorite part of teaching is watching connections being made by children and helping her students succeed in not only education but social emotional growth as well. In her spare time, Ms. Dani loves going to music festivals, spending time with her family, and going for walks in the MetroParks!

    Ms. Ashley is our Lead Pre-K teacher. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ursline College. Her favorite aspect of the classroom is the “Ah-Ha moment” where a child realizes they can now do something they could not before and it just further sparks their interest to learn more. Ms. Ashley is an avid Softball fan, she played throughout college and now coaches in her free time.

    Ms. Mary is one of our PreK teachers. Prior to joining the Goddard family she spent just shy of a year growing her experience at Acorn Childcare Center in Avon as Lead Preschool Teacher. While her admiration for early childhood development started young as part of a large family, it only continues to grow as she gets to know each student on a personal level. As a mother herself to a blossoming two-and-a-half-year-old son, she prioritizes consistency and routine in the classroom in order to create a comforting and reliable environment for the group. She loves to watch as each child finds their strengths and pushes them to remember you can always try again until "practice makes perfect". Ms. Mary's favorite part of education is seeing the light in her students eyes when they achieve a new goal and come cheerfully with pride to announce "Ms. Mary, I did it!".

    Ms. Claire is our PreK 2 teacher. She has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toledo as well as an associate degree in fine arts. She has had experience with Preschool, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade prior to joining the Goddard School Team. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing her students’ progress throughout the year. In her free time, Ms. Claire loves to hang out with her puppy and teach swimming lessons at the YMCA.

    Ms. Eva is one of our school's Resource Teacher. She is originally from Albania where she taught High School Math for over 10 years. Miss Eva enjoys spending time with her family outside of the school and baking. When asked why she enjoys working with children Miss Eva said, "I love watching them explore and grow!"

    Ms. Mareesa is one of our resource teachers. Mareesa has years of experience working with ages from infants to 10 years old which puts her in a perfect position for Goddard School! Every child's individuality and potential keep Mareesa connected to them in the fascinated manner of how each of them can grow and learn differently every day. In her free time, Mareesa enjoys hiking, yoga and everything plants!
  • Miss Ivianna

    Miss Ivianna

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Ivianna is one of our resource teachers. She is graduating from The Ohio State University this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Leadership and Policy Analysis. While in school, she worked as an infant teacher in Columbus and has now moved back home to continue her love for children. Her favorite part of working with infants is discovering their “first” time moments like sitting up, trying out new foods, crawling, and walking! In her free time, Ms. Ivi enjoys traveling, reading books, and going to the gym with her mom!
  • Ms Marybeth

    Ms Marybeth

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Marybeth developed her passion for children’s welfare as an adolescent. Beginning as a math tutor in Junior High, she has worked with children in some capacity for over ten years. While earning her Bachelor of Arts in History from Otterbein University, which she completed in 2023, Ms. Marybeth worked as a camp counselor, program director, and peer mentor for both the YMCA and the Westerville City School System. Her primary goals as an educator with Goddard Schools is to promote an environment in which children have the ability to thrive, no matter their skill set or unique challenges. She also hopes to inspire children to be multifaceted individuals with interests in music, art, literature, and STEM pursuits.

    Ms. Bonnie, has been in childcare for the past 10 years working with children of all ages. Ms. Bonnie is enrolled in a Childcare Development Associates program. In her free time, Ms. Bonnie enjoys spending time with her two boys, hiking, reading, and swimming Her favorite part of the job is seeing the excitement in the children when they learn a new skill or reach a new milestone.
