Meet Amar Owner

Mr. Amar is the Owner of The Goddard School of Rocky River, Ohio. As both a parent and an educational leader, Amar is deeply passionate about creating a joyful, safe, and nurturing place where children can grow, learn, and discover their unique potential. Amar holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from Columbia University. He brings his background in leadership and management to ensure that every child receives the highest quality early childhood education and care. He believes that building strong relationships with families and fostering a love of learning from an early age lays the foundation for lifelong success. Amar lives in Avon Lake with his wife, Rima, and their two children, Mila and Sahil, who both attend The Goddard School. He takes great pride in serving the Goddard community and supporting each child’s growth and development.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

Everyone there genuinely cares about each individual and adjusts to the children as they grow. Fantastic owner and staff! They are constantly innovating on ways to have fun and teach the kids at the same time, offering programs like summer camps with special guests and themes or the water days on the hot and steamy days!

We've had a wonderful experience with the staff and policies navigating the complex Covid era of schooling. Additionally we love the daily reports and photos for midday updates and how each instructor has given us anecdotes and feedback on our child's development.
