    Mr Chris

    School Owner
    Mr. Chris has been the on-site School Owner since the school opened in June of 2007. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He specialized in finance. Upon graduating, he obtained his first professional job working as a mutual fund Accountant. Chris continued his education while working and received a Master's degree in Business Administration from Capital University. Chris is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School® family as an owner and operator in Macedonia. He enjoys each and every child and is glad to be able to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Miss Alicia

    Miss Alicia

    Director
    Miss Alicia is our school director. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education along with a reading/literacy endorsement. She spent many years working in the classroom as an infant and toddler teacher before becoming a director. She enjoys getting to know the families and children and always wanting to ensure that the children are learning in a safe and nurturing environment that will prepare them for a life long love of learning. Goddard School Tenure: 12 years

    Miss Christina

    Assistant Director
    Miss Christina is our assistant director. She is a graduate of Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Care Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. Previous to working at The Goddard School, Christina has worked at other preschools and child care centers over the span of 7 years. She has experience working with infant children as well as preschool and pre-k children. She loves getting to know the children and their families and is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School.   • Miss Alicia

    Miss Alicia

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Ally was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from the University of Akron in May of 2015 with a bachelors degree in Child and Family Development. Her career in childcare began with an afterschool program, which instilled in her a love for children and a desire to work with children of all ages. Ally has several years of experience working with children from ages 6 week to 12 years old. She joined The Goddard School in Fall of 2021 and is looking forward to a rewarding career as part of the Goddard family. Tenure: 2 years
  • Miss Ashley

    Miss Ashley

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Miss Ashley was born in Connecticut and raised in a small town in east Tennessee before ending up in Ohio. She graduated from Greenville High School where she also obtained credentials in early childhood education. Right out of high school she knew that this is what she wanted to do. Ashley spent four years as an assistant preschool teacher before starting a new adventure in New York. She quickly realized her passion for teaching was with infants. Ashley then worked to obtain her CDA for infants and toddlers and has been working with infants ever since. She loves watching their faces light up as they discover new things. Goddard Tenure: 2 years

    Miss Brianna

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Miss Brianna graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University, May of 2015, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She grew up the eldest of five children and previously worked in a childcare environment for four years, starting in high school and throughout her college career. She strives to grow both spiritually and professionally. She also strives to engage children in significant learning, differentiated when appropriate. Working with children has always been a passion of hers and she is excited to be a part of The Goddard School. Goddard School Tenure: 8 years

    Miss Courtney

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Miss Courtney was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Kent State University and graduated in December 2020 with her Bachelors degree in History. She has spent many years working in the customer service industry and since graduating is excited to work within a educational setting. She is excited to be part of the Goddard School!     Miss Jennifer

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Jenny graduated from The University of Akron in 2017 with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in childcare since 2012 and has worked with children of all ages but she loves teaching toddlers! While in college she worked at The Goddard School in Akron. She is very passionate about teaching and is excited to be part of The Goddard School family! Tenure: 2 years
  • Miss Kennedy

    Miss Kennedy

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Kennedy was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. She graduated from Kent State University in the fall of 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies, along with her degree she added three minors. The minors are: Human Development and Family Studies, Mild/Mod Special Education, and Disabilities Inclusion. Kennedy has volunteer experience with a range of students starting from preschool and going up to high school, she believes that any student at any age can teach you something new. She is excited to join The Goddard School family and hopes to continue learning more about the educational world while teaching here. Goddard School Tenure: 3+ years

    Miss Marie

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Marie was born and raised in Ohio where she attended Malone University to obtain her bachelors of science in art education. She has spent several years as a visual art teacher in the public schools. She enjoys creating and selling her own art and is excited to share her love of the arts with the children here at The Goddard School. Goddard Tenure: 2 years
  • Miss Emily

    Miss Emily

    Lead First Steps Teacher
    Emily was born in Austin, Texas but has lived in Hudson, Ohio for 16 years. She graduated from the University of Mount Union with bachelor’s degrees in Human Development and Family Science and French. She is a recent graduate but has experience working in a childcare facility as an assistant teacher. She is looking forward to working with the children and their families as well as the other teachers and is excited to be a part of the Goddard family. Tenure: 1+ years
  • Miss Olivia

    Miss Olivia

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Miss Olivia currently attends Kent State University pursuing her degree in early childhood education. She previously worked with children in a variety of settings including being a nanny and has previously worked at The Goddard School of Westerville, Ohio. She is excited to be part of The Goddard School and looks forward to helping each child learn and grow. Goddard Tenure: 1 year
  • Mrs Sheri

    Mrs Sheri

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Miss Sheri attended Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She always wanted to be a teacher and was able to achieve this goal! After getting her degree she was a subsitute teacher in the local school district where she lived in Georgia before moving back to Ohio. She has worked as a Pre-K teacher at a fellow Goddard School as well as teaching third grade in a charter school. She is excited to be part of The Goddard School and part of the children's educational career. Tenure: 1+ year
  • Ms Casey

    Ms Casey

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Casey was born and has lived most of her life in Twinsburg, Ohio with the exception of a few years spent just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Education: Birth through Kindergarten, with an endorsement in Special Education. She spent three years as the lead teacher in a Toddler Classroom in Georgia and completed student teaching in both Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. Casey loves helping children learn and explore the world around them, and is very excited to join the Goddard family. Tenure: 1+ year
  • Miss Abigail

    Miss Abigail

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Abby is a graduate from Aurora High school. While completing her high school diploma she was also enrolled in the TEACH program to obtain her CDA credential with a focus on infants and toddlers in which she completed in May of 2022. Abby now attends The University of Akron working towards her bachelors degree in early childhood education. She loves spending one on one time working with the children and getting to know each family. She is excited to be part of The Goddard School! Goddard Tenure: 2 years

    Miss Jessica

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Jessica graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Intervention Specialist. She started with The Goddard School located in Macedonia in August of 2010. Prior to working at the Macedonia location she worked at The Goddard School located in Broadview Heights for one year. She is certified to work with children from newborn to eight years old. She is pleased to be a part of The Goddard School. Goddard School Tenure: 13 years

    Miss Sydney

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Sydney graduated from the University of Mount Union with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science and continuing her education at John Carroll University working on her Masters in School Counseling. She has studied abroad in Brighton, England for a year and is excited to use her experience and skills to work with children. She has worked within the healthcare setting and looks forward to working within the educational field. She is very excited to be a part of the Goddard Family. Goddard School Tenure: 2 years

    Miss Paris

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Miss Paris graduated from The University of Akron to obtain her bachelors degree in Child and Family Development with a certificate in parent education. She has previously worked in the childcare field as an assistant teacher and started with us on a part time basis then became a lead teacher upon her graduation. She enjoys getting to know the children and families and is excited to be part of The Goddard School. Goddard Tenure: 4 years
  • Ms Sandra

    Ms Sandra

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Miss Sandra was born and raised in Ohio. After graduating high school she went on to receive her cosmetology license. Later, she decided to change her career path to pursue early childhood education and a Child Development Associate. She is also working toward her associate's degree in early childhood education. For over 16 years, she experienced nothing by joy in working with all age groups. She has worked at a church based school, and head start with children from infancy through the age of 5. After that she has been a nanny for 2 month old triplets until they entered kindergarten. She looks forward to her journey here at The Goddard School.

    Miss Rebecca

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Rebecca Schindler was born and raised in Parma, Ohio and is a graduate of The University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Education as well as an Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College. She has spent her teaching career as an educator in early childhood education in various places across the United States. She loves teaching, teaming with staff and working with families. She is excited to be part of the Goddard family in Macedonia!

    Miss Rachael

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Rachael Abraham was born and raised in Parma, Ohio where she attended and  graduated from Normandy high school. She is looking forward to obtaining her CDA and continuing her professional development. She has passionately taught in the Early Childhood Education field for five years working with all age groups, but primarily with preschool and prekindergarten! She is very excited to learn and grow with the children, as well as work with the parents, and staff of the Goddard School. She is eager to join the family !
