    Mr Chris
    School Owner
    Mr. Chris has been the on-site School Owner since the school opened in June of 2007. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He specialized in finance. Upon graduating, he obtained his first professional job working as a mutual fund Accountant. Chris continued his education while working and received a Master's degree in Business Administration from Capital University. Chris is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School® family as an owner and operator in Macedonia. He enjoys each and every child and is glad to be able to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment.

    Director
    Miss Christina is our director. She is a graduate of Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Care Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. Previous to working at The Goddard School, Christina has worked at other preschools and child care centers over the span of 10+ years. She has experience working with infant children as well as preschool and pre-k children. She loves getting to know the children and their families and is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School.     Assistant Director
    Ally was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from the University of Akron in May of 2015 with a bachelors degree in Child and Family Development. Her career in childcare began with an afterschool program, which instilled in her a love for children and a desire to work with children of all ages. Ally has several years of experience working with children from ages 6 week to 12 years old. She joined The Goddard School in Fall of 2021 and is looking forward to a rewarding career as part of the Goddard family. Tenure: 2+ years

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Miss Ashley was born in Connecticut and raised in a small town in east Tennessee before ending up in Ohio. She graduated from Greenville High School where she also obtained credentials in early childhood education. Right out of high school she knew that this is what she wanted to do. Ashley spent four years as an assistant preschool teacher before starting a new adventure in New York. She quickly realized her passion for teaching was with infants. Ashley then worked to obtain her CDA for infants and toddlers and has been working with infants ever since. She loves watching their faces light up as they discover new things.     Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Miss Brianna graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University, May of 2015, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She grew up the eldest of five children and previously worked in a childcare environment for four years, starting in high school and throughout her college career. She strives to grow both spiritually and professionally. She also strives to engage children in significant learning, differentiated when appropriate. Working with children has always been a passion of hers and she is excited to be a part of The Goddard School. Goddard School Tenure: 9 years

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Miss Courtney was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Kent State University and graduated in December 2020 with her Bachelors degree in History. She has spent many years working in the customer service industry and since graduating is excited to work within a educational setting. She is excited to be part of the Goddard School!   • Miss Kennedy
    Miss Kennedy
    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Kennedy was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. She graduated from Kent State University in the fall of 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies, along with her degree she added three minors. The minors are: Human Development and Family Studies, Mild/Mod Special Education, and Disabilities Inclusion. Kennedy has volunteer experience with a range of students starting from preschool and going up to high school, she believes that any student at any age can teach you something new. She is excited to join The Goddard School family and hopes to continue learning more about the educational world while teaching here. Goddard School Tenure: 4+ years

    Assistant Teacher
    Emily was born in Austin, Texas but has lived in Hudson, Ohio for 16 years. She graduated from the University of Mount Union with bachelor’s degrees in Human Development and Family Science and French. She is a recent graduate but has experience working in a childcare facility as an assistant teacher. She is looking forward to working with the children and their families as well as the other teachers and is excited to be a part of the Goddard family. Tenure: 1+ years

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Jessica graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Intervention Specialist. She started with The Goddard School located in Macedonia in August of 2010. Prior to working at the Macedonia location she worked at The Goddard School located in Broadview Heights for one year. She is certified to work with children from newborn to eight years old. She is pleased to be a part of The Goddard School. Goddard School Tenure: 14 years

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Miss Paris graduated from The University of Akron to obtain her bachelors degree in Child and Family Development with a certificate in parent education. She has previously worked in the childcare field as an assistant teacher and started with us on a part time basis then became a lead teacher upon her graduation. She enjoys getting to know the children and families and is excited to be part of The Goddard School. Goddard Tenure: 4+ years

    Miss Amelia was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education. She taught in a public school setting for three years before joining The Goddard School. She loves working with the teachers, children and families and is excited to be part of the Goddard family.

    Miss Angeleah is a graduate from Stow High School. She has worked in a childcare setting for 5 years mostly with toddlers and preschoolers but has experience in all age groups. She loves getting to know the children and families and is excited to become part of the Goddard School.

    Miss Danielle is originally from Twinsburg, Ohio and she currently resides in Macedonia, Ohio. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University where she received a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology. She has spent years babysitting and is excited to be a part of The Goddard School. She can't wait to show the children at Goddard how to be confident, positive and supportive within the classroom, as well as outside the classroom.

    Miss Kelsey graduated from Twinsburg High School. She completed a medical assisting program at Remington College and also holds a certificate as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She is currently working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hampshire University. She has many years experience as a nanny and is excited to bring her knowledge and positive energy to her new role at The Goddard School. She is looking forward to making a difference in the lives of the children she will care for.

    Miss Lauren was born in New York but was raised in Bergenfield, New Jersey. She moved to Hudson, OH in 2003. She graduated from Kent State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood. She worked in child care centers for 4 years before joining the Strongsville Goddard team. She took a year off to be a stay at home mom and is excited to be a part of our Macedonia Goddard team.

    Miss Megan was born in Canton, Ohio and raised in Uniontown, Ohio. She graduated from Lake High School with a desire to work with children in her future. She has always had a passion to work with children, primarily with infants. She loves watching them achieve their milestones, and seeing their personalities blossom! Miss Megan babysat all throughout high school and after graduation she worked at a childcare facility for two years. She is looking forward to working with the children and their families and is excited to be part of the Goddard family!

    Miss MeriClare was born and raised in Aurora, Ohio where she graduated from Aurora High School. She is currently in school earning her Child Development certificate and has two and a half years of experience with The Goddard School working with infants and toddlers. She loves forming relationships with each of her students and families and looks forward to continuing her journey as an early childhood educator.

    Miss Robin was born and raised in Northfield and graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She worked with school-age children for five years before joining The Goddard School. She is excited to be part of the Goddard family.
  • Ms Tabitha
    Ms Tabitha
    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Tabitha Basinger, graduated from Streetsboro High school here in Ohio and shortly after, she moved to Alabama where she continued her schooling and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in education from Athens State University. Tabitha taught in Alabama public schools for several years before moving back to Ohio and focusing on her own growing family. She is excited to be joining the Goddard School as a preschool teacher and pursuing the career she is passionate about.

    Miss Serena was born in Oregon, Ohio and raised in Whitehouse and Toledo before moving to the Cleveland area for college. In May 2024, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University. She student-directed musicals when she was in high school, was a nanny for five years and worked as a preschool teacher at another Goddard School for two years while she obtained her degree. She is very passionate about teaching and building relationships and bonds wtih the teachers, students and families. She is thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family again and to play a role in your child's growth and development.

    Hello! My name is Tari and I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I'm currently working toward earning my CDA credential to further strengthen my knowledge and practice in early childhood education. As a dedicated educator and proud mother of two daughters, I bring both professional training and personal experience into my teaching. I believe strongly in fostering a supportive, engaging and nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore, learn and grow. My passion lies in guiding children through meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, independence and the wonder of learning.

    Miss Malayah was born in Parma, Ohio and raised in Stow, Ohio. She currently attends Kent State University where she is studying Human Development and Family Science. She plans on going to OSU for graduate school next spring. She has worked in a childcare setting for a few years with experience in various age groups. She is looking forward to being a part of our Macedonia Goddard team.
