I am Sehar, holding dual Master's in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling with extensive experience in children's well-being. As a devoted mother of a graduate from The Goddard School, I have experienced firsthand the powerful influence it has in fostering inclusive and nurturing learning environments. My husband Farooq & I believe in strong educational foundations, excited to offer this to your kids. Our skilled educators provide a supportive environment for each child to grow at their own pace. Our innovative curriculum integrates current research in early education & socio-emotional development, addressing individual needs. Collaborating with parents for open communication & strong partnerships, we consider home-school coordination vital for child success. At The Goddard School, we are committed to making each day joyful & enriching, fostering lasting memories & laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning. Ms. Sana is our Executive Center Director. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, has earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education while working toward her Intervention Specialist license. With nearly eight years of experience in early childhood education, including over six years in leadership roles, Ms. Sana is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. After relocating to Delaware with her family, Ms. Sana joined Delaware City Schools, where she continued to pursue her passion for supporting young learners. She finds great joy in helping children explore, learn, and celebrate each new developmental milestone. In her free time, Ms. Sana enjoys spending quality time with her family and making lasting memories together.

Ms Kristin is an early childhood education professional with a degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University. With experience as a teacher, and camp counselor, and center director, she is passionate about creating nurturing environments for young children. Kristin lives in Ohio with her husband and two children, and enjoys baking, music, and time with family.

Ms. Christy has been in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 30 years and brings a wealth of experience and passion to our school. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State Community College. She finds joy in nurturing children and loves watching them grow and thrive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and baking.

Ms. Juanita is an amazing addition to our Infant Team! She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infant and Toddler Care, as well as a degree in Early Childhood Education. She also brings several years of experience working with young learners. With her warm smile, patience, and nurturing personality, Ms. Juanita is thrilled to provide our youngest learners with the loving care and support they need to thrive, grow, and develop. She is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment where each baby feels loved, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. In her leisure time, Ms. Juanita enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Kristin earned her Early Childhood Education education from Buckeye Valley and brings more than 20 years of experience working with young children. She believes that learning begins at a very young age and that babies and young children are capable of learning so much through their everyday experiences and interactions. Ms. Kristin enjoys watching children grow, learn, and develop their unique personalities and abilities. She is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them.

Ms. Megha is one of our toddler teachers and a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). Her academic background provides her with a strong understanding of language development and modern teaching methodologies, helping to build a solid foundation in early childhood education. She has a passion for reading both fiction and non-fiction, and believes that books are windows to the world, opening young minds to imagination, learning, and discovery.

Ms. Feyza is excited to be part of the Goddard Family! Her passion is working with young minds and providing children with a warm, caring, and nurturing environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. She believes children learn best through play, hands-on experiences, and meaningful interactions. As an educator, her goal is to support each child’s individual development while helping them build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love for learning. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Feyza enjoys reading, exploring new places, and going on nature walks.

Ms Saritha is passionate and dedicated; she loves to create meaningful learning experiences for children. Ms Saritha brings in years of experience in working with children and supporting them in their behavioral needs, which has strengthened her patience, compassion, and understanding of each child’s unique needs. She enjoys creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys fashion design, spending quality time with her children, and hopes to explore the world through travel in the future.

Ms. Bahar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She truly enjoys spending time with children, supporting their growth, and helping them build confidence as they learn, explore, and discover the world around them. Ms. Bahar believes that the early years provide an important foundation for lifelong success. She is passionate about supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development and values creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. As a proud mother of two boys, she has developed a deep appreciation for child development through her own parenting experience. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Bahar enjoys spending quality time with her family and continuing to learn new things that support both her personal and professional growth.

Ms. Joycelynn, also known as Ms. Joy within the classroom, brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Joy's expertise primarily lies in working with the younger age group, spanning from older infants to young toddlers. Her enthusiasm shines as she steps into the classroom to guide, teach, and connect with the children under her care. Witnessing their joyful smiles each day brings her immense satisfaction. Ms. Joy is eagerly looking forward to building connections with every child who enters her room. When she's not in the classroom, she cherishes quality time spent with her family at home.

Teacher Maye is bringing years of experience in ECE. In 2015, Maye began career as a Pre-K teacher and eventually discovered a special love for the younger age group. They began leading a classroom of 2½-year-olds, where they continue to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. Teacher Maye encourages pretend play, independence, and multilingual learning, always adding a heaping dose of silliness along the way! They believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Teacher Maye enjoys pursuing a variety of creative hobbies, including writing, sewing, and cozy gaming.

Ms. Stacie has been dedicated to childcare for 23 years, working with children from 6 weeks old to age 5. She holds an Infant and Toddler CDA and is currently pursuing an associate degree in early childcare. She finds great joy in helping children learn and grow, especially witnessing their excitement when they discover something new. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, exploring new and interesting places around Ohio, and spending quality time with her family.

Mr. AJ is an amazing part of our preschool team and is excited to begin his fifth year of teaching! He has a passion for creating a fun, engaging, and joyful learning environment for children. Mr. AJ especially loves incorporating singing and dancing into the classroom, as he believes that learning through music and movement is a wonderful way to support children’s development and help them build a variety of skills. He looks forward to creating meaningful learning experiences and helping each child grow, learn, and have fun throughout the school year.

Ms. Shaylee has been working in child care since 2020 and has only grown more passionate about teaching. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. What she loves most about teaching is watching children thrive and flourish. Her favorite saying is, “If there is a will, then there is a way,”—and in our classroom, this will always be true! In her free time, Ms. Shaylee enjoys reading, spending time with her family and dogs, and coaching Little League softball.

Ms. Priya is an awesome addition to the Goddard Team. Ms. Priya holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and brings creativity and passion to the classroom! Her goal as a teacher is to encourage children to explore new things, think in unique ways, and make learning fun. Teaching and being with children brings her so much happiness! In her free time, she enjoys dancing, fabric designing, and painting, and she loves spending quality time with her family.

With over 15 years of teaching experience—ranging from curious preschoolers to college students—Ms. Vinaya has found joy in helping learners of every age discover how exciting learning can be. She holds a Master’s degree and an M.Phil. in English Literature, and her love for language deeply influences everything she does in the classroom. In her Pre-K class, she thoughtfully blends playful exploration with gentle structure, creating a nurturing space where curiosity blossoms and confidence grows. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, one joyful discovery at a time. As a mom of two high schoolers, Ms. Vinaya understands how important it is for children to feel seen, valued, and supported as they find their own rhythm. Outside of teaching, she expresses her creativity through painting and gardening—two passions that remind her daily of the beauty of growth and patience.

Ms. Susie serves as our Kindergarten Enrichment teacher at The Goddard School of Delaware and is thrilled to be a part of our community. With over 8 1/2 years of teaching experience, she eagerly anticipates guiding your children in their learning journey. A proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to four, Ms. Susie possesses a rich background in culinary arts. Before transitioning to the realm of child care, she showcased her creativity as a pastry chef. Outside the classroom, she loves to bake, refurbish furniture, and tend to her garden.

Ms. Sowjanya has been teaching Kindergarten Enrichment for the past three years. Growing up with her dad ignited her passion for teaching and inspired her career in education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Child Development and later went on to complete her Master’s degree in Computer Science. She loves learning just as much as she loves teaching and believes that education is a lifelong journey. Ms. Sowjanya truly enjoys getting to know the children in her class and takes pride in supporting their individual interests as they learn and grow. She welcomed her daughter in 2015, who is the center of her universe. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family. She looks forward to getting to know all the families and building meaningful connections throughout the school year.

Ms. Helen is our kitchen manager, bringing in immense experience in dealing with food preparation, nutrition, and overall kitchen operations. Her dedication to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality ensures that every meal served is both nutritious and enjoyable for our children. With her warm personality and strong work ethic, she plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of everyone in our School.

Ms. Amy brings over 25 years of experience working with and caring for children. She is passionate about creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow. Her patience, caring nature, and ability to connect with children make her a wonderful addition to the classroom. Ms. Amy enjoys helping children explore, develop confidence, and discover new interests while making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful.

Ms. Morgan is an ECE student at Delaware Area Career Center, where she is working toward earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. She is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their imaginations, and discovering their individual interests. Ms. Morgan’s strengths include communication, patience, creativity, organization, and building positive relationships with children. She enjoys creating engaging activities and providing individualized support to meet each child’s unique needs and developmental goals. Looking toward the future, Ms. Morgan hopes to continue her education by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a minor in Special Education. Her goal is to create meaningful learning experiences that help every child feel confident, supported, and excited to learn.
