I am Sehar, holding dual Master's in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling with extensive experience in children's well-being. As a devoted mother of a graduate from The Goddard School, I have experienced firsthand the powerful influence it has in fostering inclusive and nurturing learning environments. My husband Farooq & I believe in strong educational foundations, excited to offer this to your kids. Our skilled educators provide a supportive environment for each child to grow at their own pace. Our innovative curriculum integrates current research in early education & socio-emotional development, addressing individual needs. Collaborating with parents for open communication & strong partnerships, we consider home-school coordination vital for child success. Ms. Lynnette brings decades of experience in early childhood as a teacher, a coaching expert and a center director. She holds a Master’s in early childhood studies with a focus on Public Policy and Advocacy. Ms. Lynnette has worked with hundreds of educators as a trainer and speaker, with a passion for leadership, child development, and inclusion. She believes even the smallest moments can create lasting impact, and leads with intention to build a connected, thriving school community. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and going for a good run.

Ms Kristin is an early childhood education professional with a degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University. With experience as a teacher, and camp counselor, and center director, she is passionate about creating nurturing environments for young children. Kristin lives in Ohio with her husband and two children, and enjoys baking, music, and time with family.

Ms. Christy has been in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 30 years and brings a wealth of experience and passion to our school. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State Community College. She finds joy in nurturing children and loves watching them grow and thrive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and baking.

Ms. Mackalah is one of our Infant Teachers, bringing over a decade of experience working with children of all ages. She has a genuine passion for early childhood education and is deeply committed to nurturing young minds. As a proud mother of two young children, Ms. Mackalah understands the importance of nurturing, patience, and creating meaningful connections—values she brings into the classroom every day. In her free time, Ms. Mackalah enjoys reading, drawing, and going on adventures with her family. Ms. Mackalah is dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where every infant feels loved, supported, and inspired to grow.

Ms. Detrice, also known as Ms. D, is a dedicated childcare professional with years of experience caring for children across various age groups. She is a valued new addition to our infant team. Ms. D is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our infants can grow and learn. She brings strong skills in maintaining a flexible structured based routines for infants while supporting their emotional and social development. Ms. D is committed to building trusting relationships with both children and their families, fostering a positive and supportive community.

Ms. Geethika is a wonderful addition to the Goddard team, bringing with her a deep passion for nurturing young children and helping them feel secure, loved, and confident. She believes that learning through play is essential in building strong relationships and that celebrating each child’s unique development helps them grow into confident learners. Outside of work, Ms. Geethika enjoys cooking and loves trying out new recipes.

Ms. Skyler, an amazing addition we are thrilled to have her join the team at Goddard! With an extensive healthcare background and over three years of experience caring for toddlers, she is passionate about creating a safe and encouraging environment where little ones feel comfortable exploring and learning. Her goal is to support children’s independence and social-emotional growth through patience, play, and daily routines. In her free time, Ms. Skyler enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Ms. Joycelynn, also known as Ms. Joy within the classroom, brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Joy's expertise primarily lies in working with the younger age group, spanning from older infants to young toddlers. Her enthusiasm shines as she steps into the classroom to guide, teach, and connect with the children under her care. Witnessing their joyful smiles each day brings her immense satisfaction. Ms. Joy is eagerly looking forward to building connections with every child who enters her room. When she's not in the classroom, she cherishes quality time spent with her family at home.

Ms. Megha is one of our toddler teachers and a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). Her academic background provides her with a strong understanding of language development and modern teaching methodologies, helping to build a solid foundation in early childhood education. She has a passion for reading both fiction and non-fiction, and believes that books are windows to the world, opening young minds to imagination, learning, and discovery.

Ms. Stacie has been dedicated to childcare for 23 years, working with children from 6 weeks old to age 5. She holds an Infant and Toddler CDA and is currently pursuing an associate degree in early childcare. She finds great joy in helping children learn and grow, especially witnessing their excitement when they discover something new. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, exploring new and interesting places around Ohio, and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Shaylee has been working in child care since 2020 and has only grown more passionate about teaching. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. What she loves most about teaching is watching children thrive and flourish. Her favorite saying is, “If there is a will, then there is a way,”—and in our classroom, this will always be true! In her free time, Ms. Shaylee enjoys reading, spending time with her family and dogs, and coaching Little League softball.

Ms. Priya is an awesome addition to the Goddard Team. Ms. Priya holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and brings creativity and passion to the classroom! Her goal as a teacher is to encourage children to explore new things, think in unique ways, and make learning fun. Teaching and being with children brings her so much happiness! In her free time, she enjoys dancing, fabric designing, and painting, and she loves spending quality time with her family.

With over 15 years of teaching experience—ranging from curious preschoolers to college students—Ms. Vinaya has found joy in helping learners of every age discover how exciting learning can be. She holds a Master’s degree and an M.Phil. in English Literature, and her love for language deeply influences everything she does in the classroom. In her Pre-K class, she thoughtfully blends playful exploration with gentle structure, creating a nurturing space where curiosity blossoms and confidence grows. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, one joyful discovery at a time. As a mom of two high schoolers, Ms. Vinaya understands how important it is for children to feel seen, valued, and supported as they find their own rhythm. Outside of teaching, she expresses her creativity through painting and gardening—two passions that remind her daily of the beauty of growth and patience.

Ms. Susie serves as our Kindergarten Enrichment teacher at The Goddard School of Delaware and is thrilled to be a part of our community. With over 8 1/2 years of teaching experience, she eagerly anticipates guiding your children in their learning journey. A proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to four, Ms. Susie possesses a rich background in culinary arts. Before transitioning to the realm of child care, she showcased her creativity as a pastry chef. Outside the classroom, she loves to bake, refurbish furniture, and tend to her garden.

Ms. Sowjanya has been teaching Kindergarten Enrichment for the past three years. Growing up with her dad ignited her passion for teaching and inspired her career in education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Child Development and later went on to complete her Master’s degree in Computer Science. She loves learning just as much as she loves teaching and believes that education is a lifelong journey. Ms. Sowjanya truly enjoys getting to know the children in her class and takes pride in supporting their individual interests as they learn and grow. She welcomed her daughter in 2015, who is the center of her universe. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family. She looks forward to getting to know all the families and building meaningful connections throughout the school year.

Ms. Helen is our kitchen manager, bringing in immense experience in dealing with food preparation, nutrition, and overall kitchen operations. Her dedication to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality ensures that every meal served is both nutritious and enjoyable for our children. With her warm personality and strong work ethic, she plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of everyone in our School.
