    MaryBeth’s journey with the Goddard School started with her being a parent, with her own two daughters attending a Goddard School in Ohio. Her experience inspired her to offer the same positive experience as she had, to the families in our community. Marybeth recognized the importance of a strong curriculum along with a safe and nurturing learning environment and purchased the Goddard School of Macomb in 2009. MaryBeth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Management and also served in United States Army for 8 years. She uses her leadership skills, background in business and military experience to successfully manage the operations of the schools. It is undoubtably evident that MaryBeth is proud to be associated with the programs that Goddard has to offer and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool. Marybeth is now extending her care to more families with her second school in the area.

    Karen has been with The Goddard School for over 13 years, beginning her journey in January of 2011. Karen highly believes in the Goddard Brand and works hard every day to fulfill Goddard's promise of safety, education and enrichment for each child that is in our care. She has experience in every role at The Goddard School raging from lead teacher to administration. She has been in the early childhood industry for over 20 years, including 9 years of running her own licensed in-house childcare. Karen's educational background includes degrees in management as well as early childhood education. Karen's vast knowledge and passion of the industry is made very evident as she consistently aims to succeed.

    Miss Hannah as over 5 years' experience within early childhood education. She is currently working towards her degree in early childhood education. Hannah is currently our enrollment coordinator.

    Miss Tate has been an esteemed member of the Goddard School team for three years, showcasing a deep commitment to our health and safety protocols. She excels in fostering the social-emotional development of the children, with a particular talent for working with our 2.5-year-olds in the Bridge classroom. Miss Tate consistently creates a calm and supportive atmosphere in her classroom. She has completed numerous CDA classes and is currently pursuing an associate’s degree at Macomb Community College this fall. Her expertise and dedication make her an invaluable asset to every classroom she supports.

    Lead Teacher - GSRP 2
    Mrs. Sally has been a cherished member of The Goddard School Macomb team for the past three years. Known for her calm demeanor and nurturing spirit, she plays a pivotal role in all of our classrooms, consistently going above and beyond to support and enrich the lives of the children. With a completed CDA for preschool ages, Sally is highly skilled in early childhood education and is deeply loved by all the children she works with. Her dedication and warmth make her a valuable asset to our team. Among Sally’s favorite children’s books are Stick and Stone (a featured book from our Lifelesson Library), No David, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Her enthusiasm for these stories often brings a special joy to her classroom, creating memorable and engaging experiences for our students.

    Lena's journey began as a volunteer in a Montessori school. There she discovered her passion for nurturing young minds. Lena is currently taking classes at Macomb Community College working towards Early Childhood Development. Lena's hobbies are bowing with family, movie nights and vacations with her husband. Her favorite children's books are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Love you forever and Llama Llama Red Pajama.

    Mrs. Elfrida is a teacher dedicated to making sure each child feels safe and loved. Frida commits to giving the families peace of mind knowing their child is in good care. Frida has her PHD and was a professor and university researcher. For the past 9 years she feels privileged teaching so many young children. Hugs are her favorite part.

    Lead Teacher - Toddler Two Classroom
    Mrs. Itzel has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from / UNITEC University, Mexico. She is fluent and is a tutor in Spanish. She has worked in both Montessori and Inquiry base early childhood centers. Itzel's smile warms the hearts of all who encounter her.

    Miss Bethany is a dedicated educator who finds great joy in watching children grow and continuously learn. With a background in early childhood education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classroom. She believes that children are our future and is committed to fostering an environment where they can thrive. In her role, Miss Bethany emphasizes the importance of kindness, empathy, and cooperation, encouraging her students to support and uplift one another. She incorporates engaging activities that promote social skills and emotional development, ensuring each child feels valued and understood. Her favorite children's book is, 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie'

    Assistant Teacher - Toddler Two
    Allison Allison brings seven years of experience working with young children, including time spent in both public schools and childcare centers. She looks forward to each day, excited to see what the children will learn and discover. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in connection and engagement she believes in getting down to the children’s eye level, joining them on the floor to play, and encouraging learning through outdoor exploration and hands-on activities. Outside of the classroom, Allison enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and being with her family. She loves teaching because it brings joy to see children light up when they learn something new and she’s always ready to have fun right alongside them! One of her favorite children’s books is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

    Ms. Allison is a dedicated and nurturing member of our teaching team who supports multiple classrooms throughout the day. As a floater, she brings her positive energy, flexibility, and strong sense of teamwork wherever she goes. Whether she’s helping toddlers explore new textures or assisting preschoolers with early literacy, Allison is always ready to lend a hand and build meaningful connections with the children in her care.

    Mrs. Anna is a caring and enthusiastic member of our team who brings positive energy and patience into every classroom she supports. She has a natural ability to connect with young children and loves creating meaningful moments through play, learning, and daily routines. Anna is passionate about helping children feel safe, confident, and valued as they grow and explore the world around them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, making memories together, and embracing all the little moments of motherhood.

    Mrs. Natasha brings a warm and nurturing presence to the classroom each day. With a passion for early childhood education, she is dedicated to creating a safe, joyful, and engaging environment where children feel supported and encouraged to grow. Natasha enjoys getting to know each child’s unique personality and learning style and loves watching their confidence blossom. She believes in the power of play-based learning and values building strong connections with families to ensure each child’s success. Outside of the classroom, Natasha enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and exploring new hobbies.

    Mrs. Taylor serves as our Lead Teacher in the Infant Room. She is a full-time member of our team and provides consistent, nurturing care for our youngest learners. Her regular schedule is: - Monday–Friday - 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Her leadership helps ensure a warm, safe, and developmentally supportive environment for all infants in her care.

    Miss Marissa is an assistant teacher in our GSRP program and is currently working toward her degree in early childhood education. She brings a fun, upbeat personality to the classroom, making each day lively and engaging for her students. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to learning make her a wonderful support to both the children and the teaching team.

    Miss Gianna is an associate teacher in our Infant & Toddler 1 classroom. She has a naturally sweet and calm personality that makes her a wonderful fit for working with our youngest learners. Even as a part-time teacher, she is deeply valued in our school community. Her gentle approach, patience, and steady presence help create a comforting environment where infants feel secure and cared for.

    Miss Jenah is an assistant teacher in our Twos Classroom. Following in her mom Mrs. Lena’s footsteps, she began working with young children and quickly discovered a true passion for it. She brings a caring, enthusiastic presence to the classroom, and her natural connection with little ones shines through in everything she does. We’re excited to support her as she grows in the field and continues building meaningful relationships with our students.

    Mrs. Haley is an associate teacher in our Pre-Preschool and Pre-K classrooms. She brings a fun, lively energy to the school each day, and you can often spot her running around the playground or down on the carpet building, creating, and playing right alongside the kids. As a mother herself, she brings plenty of helpful “mom tips and tricks” that make her a natural at connecting with young learners. Her enthusiasm, warmth, and hands-on approach make her a truly valued part of our team.

    Mrs. Eman is a dedicated assistant teacher in our Twos Classroom. She brings a fun, loving energy to the room and connects naturally with the children. As a mother herself, she understands what little ones need to feel safe, supported, and excited to explore. One of the kids’ favorite parts of the day is music and movement with Mrs. Eman — her enthusiasm makes every song and activity come alive, and the children absolutely adore it.

She’s especially gifted at creating memorable moments that make each day special for the kids.

    Ms. Kellee is our assistant teacher in the infant classroom. She supports daily routines, helps maintain a calm and nurturing environment, and works closely with the lead teacher to meet the needs of our little ones

    Miss Gabby is an assistant teacher in our GSRP program, and she brings an incredibly fun, bubbly energy to the classroom every day. She’s currently working toward her arts degree, which shines through in her creativity and passion for hands-on learning. It’s no surprise that you’ll often find her leading exciting art projects with her students — she loves helping them explore, create, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

She is a deeply valued member of our team, and her quiet strength makes a meaningful difference in our classroom every day
