    A strong foundation is critical in shaping us as individuals and guides us in all aspects and chapters of our lives. We believe the environment and curriculum a child is exposed to in the early years plays a pivotal role in their development, which is why we chose to start a Goddard School. We like to be involved in our community and enjoy sports, music, movies and travelling around the globe with our family. Sunny has a B.S. in Polymer Engineering and M.S. in Plastics Engineering from UMASS Lowell, he also has an MBA in Finance from Bryant University. Simmi has a B.S. in Computer Information Science from Johnson & Wales University. “Raising 3 kids we have seen firsthand the difference between at home care and a nurturing program Goddard offers. We are excited, proud and feel privileged to bring The Goddard School to Watertown, MA and are confident in providing the community and your family with the safest and highest quality preschool experience.”

    Ms. Kathryn graduated from Curry College in 2009 with a degree in Child, Youth and Community. She achieved her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in 2015. She has worked with children in early childhood education for over 10 years. Ms. Kathryn enjoys working with children because they are so eager to learn new things everyday! She loves to engage the children in activities that are interesting and exciting at the same time. In Ms. Kathryn’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, and organizing.

    Ms. Katherina graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a concentration in Social Work. She began working with young children in 2003 when she was in high school and never left the field. Katherina has had experience in every classroom and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Goddard School, such as curriculum, effective communication, and classroom management. Katherina comes from a big family, being one of nine, and enjoys spending her free time with her siblings. Katherina has a wonderful daughter who attended the Goddard School in Watertown and is the highlight of her life. Together, they enjoy drawing, reading, cooking, and traveling.

    Ms. Jessica graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and brings over 10 years of classroom experience, along with more than 5 years in administrative leadership. She has worked with children of all ages and is deeply passionate about early childhood education. In the classroom, Ms. Jessica takes pride in creating a warm, engaging environment where every child feels seen and valued. She is dedicated to getting to know each child individually, nurturing their interests, and supporting their growth. Beyond the classroom, she is committed to building strong partnerships with families and supporting educators in their professional journey. Ms. Jessica is fluent in Spanish and values fostering inclusive, supportive relationships with children, families, and staff. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling.

    Ms. Sally received her Associates Degree in Natural Science and is working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She comes from a large family and has dealt with all age groups growing up. She was involved in after school programs working with children and having a part time Nanny position in High School. Her passion has always been to work with children, believing that she can be a great influence and she can learn a lot from them also. Some of Sally’s hobbies and interests are traveling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures, she also loves cooking and photography. She speaks two languages, English and Portuguese.

    Mr. Kevin is our Music teacher. Mr. Kevin graduated from Salem State University with a BA in music and a concentration in voice and saxophone, along with a minor in theater. Mr. Kevin has been teaching Pre-School music for 5 years. In his spare time, Mr. Kevin plays tenor saxophone in the Maynard Community Band. He also enjoys performing in community theater musicals. Mr. Kevin has performed in Fiddler on the Roof with Theatre III. He also appeared in Titanic and Brigadoon with Theater III along with Les Miserables with the Concord Players.

    Ms. Ana has her Tourism and Business Administration degree in Mexico. She has completed the Child Development requirements to become certified in teaching Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool-age. Ms. Ana started working with children in a family childcare center. She thought it was a beautiful thing to take care of and educate young children. She believes that working with children is the most rewarding experience; every child is very different in how they feel about and understand the world around them. Children get the best from Ms. Ana. During her free time, Ms. Ana enjoys going for bicycle rides, taking walks, and doing crafts; she enjoys activities that require patience. Ms. Ana's primary language is Spanish, but she is currently taking classes to study English.

    Ms. Mira is currently Infant and Toddler certified through the state of MA. Ms. Mirca has previous experience nannying infants and toddlers. She enjoys spending time with children as she loves watching them grow and make connections with the world around them. Her favorite activities to participate in are art, science and music. In her spare time Ms. Mirca enjoys watching movies and spending time with her mom. She comes from a close knit family and enjoys going on travel adventures with them.

    Ms. May has her CDA in Infant/Toddlers and completed additional Early Childhood courses at Ashworth College. She has worked with Infants and Toddlers for more than 20 years. During her free time, Ms. May enjoys cooking, going on walks, and participating in fun activities with children.

    Ms. Feven graduated from the University in Ethiopia. She took various education courses while she was attending school including Child Development and Special Needs courses. Before moving to Watertown, Ms. Feven lived in Japan and volunteered at the Ethiopian Community Center. While volunteering, Ms. Feven would spend time with the children and create activities. Ms. Feven has two children. She is fluent in Amharic and English. In her spare time, Ms. Feven enjoys cooking and baking for her family.

    Ms. Lelise is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Bunker Hill Community College. She brings valuable experience from a variety of professional and personal roles, including being a mother of two. She has a natural ability to build strong relationships with children and families. Fluent in English, Afan Oromo, and Amharic, Ms. Lelise enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about early childhood education and creating nurturing spaces where children can thrive and feel safe.

    Ms. Sandra's hands-on experience as a mother of three, coupled with her work with infants and toddlers, has provided her with insight into early childhood education. Ms. Sandra's wealth of experience primarily comes from her extensive interaction with infants and toddlers. These experiences have given her insight into the needs of children at different developmental stages. Ms. Sandra values the opportunity to contribute to their developmental journey and observe them as they learn essential skills. She enjoys seeing the growth in their social-emotional, physical, and cognitive abilities.

    Ms. Eileen is currently enrolled in classes at Massbay Community College. She is working towards her business administration certificate. Ms. Eileen is also taking additional courses to become Infant and Toddler certified through the state of Massachusetts. Ms. Eileen has experience working with Infants and Toddlers. She also has experience babysitting children of all ages. In her spare time, Ms. Eileen enjoys art, fitness, reading and music.

    Ms. Mayely recently graduated from Waltham High School and has always been interested in early education. After school, Ms. Mayely would babysit for local families. She enjoyed learning about each child’s interests and experiences. Ms. Mayely is excited to be joining The Goddard School and looks forward to getting to know everyone. Ms. Mayely enjoys working out and preparing creative activities.

    Ms. Brianna graduated from Watertown High School in 2018 and went on to study Early Childhood Education at MassBay Community College. She has six years of experience working with children ranging from infants to preschoolers and loves creating a fun and safe environment where children can learn, play, and grow. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binging her favorite TV shows, and spending time with friends.

    Ms. Ana Maria pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in Colombia prior to relocating to the United States. She has since completed coursework in Early Childhood Education to support her role as an Assistant Teacher. She has experience teaching children ages 2 through 7 in Colombia and also led Sunday school classes. In addition, she has worked as a nanny and gained classroom experience at a local school working with toddlers. She is passionate about working with children and values collaboration as part of a team-oriented environment. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, reading, painting, walking, singing, and engaging in creative activities. She is fluent in Spanish.

    Ms. Maria completed her studies in Guatemala prior to relocating to the United States. She has developed extensive knowledge of child development through her experience as a mother to two daughters. Additionally, she has cared for the children of family members, further strengthening her ability to recognize each child’s unique needs and provide individualized support. Ms. Maria finds working with children to be both meaningful and rewarding and values the opportunity to contribute to their well-being in a safe and nurturing environment. In her free time, Ms. Maria enjoys walking and spending quality time with her family. She is fluent in Spanish.

    Ms. Mariely completed her high school education and pursued a career in embroidery and screen printing, honing her artistic and creative skills. Ms. Mariely has hands-on experience in childcare, having nannied her two nephews for four years. The birth of her son marked a turning point in her career, inspiring her to delve into early education. She recognized the significance of learning through play in her son's development, particularly his interest in playing with cars, and this has been a joyful experience for her. Ms. Mariely is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her personal time, Ms. Mariely loves to engage in outdoor activities, including going on walks and hiking.

    Ms. Yessenia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Humanities from Sacred Heart in Guatemala. She is certified to work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children and is committed to continuing her professional development through ongoing learning and training in early childhood education. She has prior experience working in early childhood education as a toddler teacher. She is passionate about working with children and appreciates their sincerity, curiosity, and energy. She finds fulfillment in supporting their growth and development and takes pride in guiding them as they learn new skills each day. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, exercising, and relaxing. She is dedicated to continuous learning to enhance her effectiveness as an educator. She is fluent in Spanish.

    Ms. Cristy took courses at Mass Bay Community College to advance her career in Early Childhood Education. She is EEC certified to teach infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. Ms. Cristy has over five years of experience working with children. She is proud to be a part of a child’s development. She enjoys working with children because everyday is a new adventure and there is never a dull moment. Ms. Cristy finds it rewarding to help a child realize their fullest potential and meet developmental milestones. In her spare time, Ms. Cristy enjoys reading and going for nature walks with her daughter.

    Ms. Mileidy recently graduated from Waltham High School and has since been pursuing a career in early education. She has a passion for working with young children and is interested in supporting their development. As a nanny, Ms. Mileidy has taken care of infants to preschool aged children. She enjoys showing them new things, gaining their trust and having conversation. In her spare time, Ms. Mileidy enjoys learning more about child development and classroom strategies.

    Ms. Joseline has completed her Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Accounting. She is currently in the process continuing her education in early education. Ms. Joseline has 2 young children. She also has experience nannying children of all ages. Ms. Joseline is fluent in Spanish and English. Some of Ms. Joseline’s hobbies include spending time with her children, exploring nature, hiking, reading, and cooking.

    Ms. Luz graduated in 2000 from Instituto Chipre in Colombia and is EEC-certified to work with infants through preschool-aged children. She has professional experience in early childhood education, having worked at two schools and as a nanny. She also brings valuable perspective from her experience as a full-time mother to her two children, ages 7 and 10. She is passionate about working with children, finds joy in supporting their development, and is dedicated to fostering their growth and daily learning progress. In her free time, she enjoys coloring, engaging in arts and crafts, exploring new places, interacting with children, and spending quality time with her family.

    Ms. Cristina is a certified teacher for Infant/Toddler and Preschool programs. She obtained her Bachelors while living in Chile. Ms. Cristina has also continued her education through Urban College in Children with Disabilities. Ms. Cristina has experience owning her own homeday. She has experience working with adults with disabilities, and helping them obtain daily goals. In her spare time, Ms. Cristina enjoys watching movies, walking with her dog, reading and camping in the summer.

    Ms. Jossira graduated in 2024 from CEIC in Guatemala. She is currently enrolled in a Child Development course to further expand her knowledge and professional growth in early childhood education. Ms. Jossira has a year of experience working with young children in a school setting. In addition, she has been actively involved in working with children at her church since the age of 14. She is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and strives to be a positive and nurturing influence in their lives. In her free time, Ms. Jossira enjoys playing soccer, visiting the beach, and shopping. She is also an entrepreneur and owns a small business, La Casa de los Detalles JB. Ms. Jossira is fluent in Spanish and is currently studying English.

    Ms. Kleidy originally studied cosmetology before finding her passion and transitioning into Early Childcare. She is now working towards her EEC certifications. For the past 5 years, Ms. Kleidy has worked with children in a variety of settings. This experience prepared her for motherhood as she developed into a nurturing and attentive caretaker. The children she has cared for have made a great impact on her life with their endearing warmth. Her hobbies include singing, reading and going to the park with her children.

    Ms. Jody is a certified Preschool and Pre-K teacher. Ms. Jody has been working with children for over 11 years. The majority of her years has been teaching and caring for children in the pre-school classroom, but has also worked with toddlers up through Pre-K. Ms. Jody enjoys spending time with her two children and attending their extracurricular activities, as well as, vacationing in New Hampshire at their summer home. She also enjoys snowmobiling, ATVing, boating, and hiking.

    Initially, Ms. Monica’s academic and career pursuits were in a different field. However, through the experience of raising her own children and actively supporting others in her community, she discovered a passion for early childhood education. Ms. Monica's experience with children began within her own home and extended into her community, where she offered support to other families.Ms. Monica is fluent in English and Spanish. Ms. Monica finds great joy in working with children and finds enjoy in a variety of hobbies, she loves watching movies, visiting parks or libraries.

    Ms. Maeva graduated from Bently University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Ms. Maeva enjoys working with children because she wants to make a difference in the future generation. She enjoys being a part of their growth and development. Ms. Maeva is fluent in English and French. Her hobbies include hiking, swimming, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She also enjoys spending time with her pet rabbit, Lil’ Bun.

    Ms. Dalel holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Science in Algeria and is currently pursuing certification in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Dalel has experience teaching English to children ages 4 to 12. She is passionate about creating engaging activities that support children’s learning in a warm, nurturing environment. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, exploring new technologies, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also has a love for animals and learning new languages. Ms. Dalel is fluent in Arabic and English.

    Ms. Emily is currently enrolled at Brandeis University, majoring in Politics and Latin American and Caribbean Studies, with a minor in Legal Studies. She has four years of experience working with children ranging from ages 3–4 to 5th grade. Ms. Emily enjoys working with children and being part of their development. She sees each child as unique and full of curiosity. She is passionate about creating a positive, safe environment and building meaningful connections. In her free time, Ms. Emily enjoys spending time with family, sewing, and being with friends. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

    Ms. Ivon graduated from Martin Miguel de Güemes with a degree in Physical Education, along with a specialization in Biology and Natural Sciences. Ms. Ivon has extensive experience working with children across a wide age range, including serving as a physical education teacher for children ages 3 to 18 and as a swim instructor for children ages 5 to 10. She has also provided care as a nanny for children of all ages since her teenage years. Ms. Ivon is passionate about early childhood education, as it aligns with her commitment to supporting and guiding children’s development. In her free time, Ms. Ivon enjoys participating in a variety of sports, which help her stay balanced and energized. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, snowboarding, biking, and kayaking. Ms. Ivon is fluent in Spanish.

    Ms. Nino received two Masters Degrees from a state university in the Republic of Georgia. Her degrees are in German Language and Literature and German Translations. Ms. Nino has over 10 years of experience working in a middle school teaching German, as well as tutoring. Ms. Nino speaks Georgian, Russian, English and German. In her free time, Ms. Nino enjoys art, painting, baking, and listening to classical music. She is a self-taught artist and had her own exhibition at the Watertown Public Library.

    Ms. Bratati holds dual master’s degrees, one in History from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, and another in Child and Adolescent Development from San José State University, California. She began her career teaching social studies to middle school students in India and later moved to California, where she has taught visual art in middle schools serving diverse communities. With over a decade of teaching experience, her philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child, fostering curiosity, empathy, and resilience while creating inclusive spaces where every student feels respected and supported. Bratati’s work is further enriched by her involvement in museums and community programs that integrate art, culture, and social-emotional learning. Fluent in Hindi, Bengali, and English, she values multilingualism as a bridge to understanding and embraces cultural diversity in her classrooms. Outside of teaching, she enjoys painting, visiting national parks, and walking her dog.

    Shannon is currently attending the University of New Hampshire for Human Development and Family Studies. She has been working with children & families for 7+ years as a babysitter/nanny, and volunteers at Perkins School For The Blind. During her free time, Shannon likes going to the beach, playing/watching sports, and dancing.

    Ms. Karly graduated from Stevenson University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications. Ms. Karly has experience working with children of all ages, while teaching them youth hockey. Ms. Karly really enjoys exploring with children and teaching them new things! Some of Ms. Karly’s interests include watching and playing ice hockey and drawing. Ms. Karly enjoys traveling, and hopes to one day travel around the world.

    Ms. Sawera is currently in Watertown High School and she plans to study in the dental field after she graduates. Ms. Sawera’s experience comes from her babysitting children as well as taking care of her younger brother. Some languages that Ms. Sawera speaks are Pashto, English, and she can understand Urdu and is currently learning Arabic. Some of Ms. Sawera’s interest and hobbies are drawing and coloring. She takes honor art class in school and taking AP art next year.

    Ms. Esther is currently attending MassBay Community College where she is working on an Associate's degree in Political Science. Ms. Esther has experience working in programs such as a winter break program. She also takes care of her younger cousins. Ms. Esther believes that working with children is the best because every day is a new adventure, and she gets to learn and play with these tiny, amazing minds. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new food and watching Netflix. Ms. Esther is fluent in English and Spanish

    Ms. Sofia is currently a junior at the Watertown High School where she has been cheerleading and is on the varsity team. Ms. Sofia’s experience primarily comes from volunteering for the Watertown Bulldogs Youth Football and cheer as an assistant coach. Ms. Sofia speaks both English and Spanish. In her personal time, Ms. Sofia enjoys karaoke, dancing, and exploring the outdoors with her loved ones.

    Ms. Lilian is currently enrolled as a Junior at Watertown High School. Ms. Lilian has experience nannying children, ranging in ages from 3 months to 6 years. Ms. Lilian enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also really enjoys horseback riding.

    Ms. Skarleth graduated from Waltham High School in 2025 and is currently pursuing studies in Early Childhood Education and Mathematics at MassBay Community College. Ms. Skarleth has both informal and formal experience working with children. She has worked as a babysitter and has also gained hands-on experience in a childcare center, where she supported toddler classrooms. She is passionate about working with children, particularly enjoying their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, as well as guiding them through age-appropriate problem-solving. In her free time, Ms. Skarleth enjoys baking pastries and photography. She is fluent in Spanish and is actively continuing to develop her English language skills.

    Ms. Narci holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University Santa Maria in Venezuela. Her academic background has provided her with the necessary tools to excel in her career as an educator. With an impressive 27-year career as a primary school teacher, Ms. Narci has left a lasting mark on children's education. Her dedication and passion for teaching are reflected in her commitment to her students' development and success. Ms. Narci is a native Spanish speaker. In her free time, Ms. Narci enjoys reading, exercising, and cooking.

    Ms. Michaela is currently a student at Waltham High School, where she is enjoying taking classes in AP Psychology, AP Biology, and the arts. One of her passions is technical theater. She has been a reader for as long as she can remember, and loves the look on a child's face when they find the perfect book.
