    Hello, I'm Nitin Joneja, owner of the Goddard School in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. We are excited to be part of this community and in providing premier quality education and experience for your children. Before opening The Goddard School, our experience ranged in Finance, HR, IT and Operations. We invite you to come visit our School and meet our exceptional staff including our Director, Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Support Team.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Bre joined our team in 2021 and has also been working with children since 2021. She earned her Child Development Associate and is excited to be Lead Teacher qualified! You can find her in the young toddlers classroom working with some of our youngest learners. When asked what she likes about working at The Goddard School, Ms. Bre said she enjoys watching the children develop personalities as they get older. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and going to music events.

    Ms. Christina joined our team in 2023 and has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2004. She is currently attending Harper College through their fast paced program to receive her Associate’s Degree. Next year, she hopes to attend the University of Arizona to earn her Bachelor’s Degree. You can find her working with our two-year-olds in the toddler classroom. She enjoys getting on the child’s level and learning about them and the extraordinary individuals they are. She loves watching the children grow and understand the curriculum and ask her about more things they want to learn about. She is very big on family partnership. If you have any question or concerns about your child, she wants you to know you can reach out to her anytime. In her free time, she hangs out with her friends, husband, and puppies. She hopes to have a child of her own soon!

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Pat joined our team in 2021 and has been working with children since 2006. She has a Bachelor’s in Education, K-9, from Trinity University in Deerfield, IL. Alongside that, she has a Montessori credential, ages 3-6, from Midwest Montessori in Evanston. Ms. Pat also studied music at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, where she took piano and voice lessons. You can find her working with our pre-kindergartners in the Pre-K 2 classroom. Ms. Pat says she loves working at The Goddard School! She taught herself Irish dance, and she is a music enthusiast. She believes that children want to express themselves through dance and they dance everyday. Music and movement are important components in her classroom. She loves helping children reach their highest potential in a classroom environment where connection, peace and joy of learning are practiced.

    Ms. Priya joined our team in 2023 and has been working with children since 2013. She earned her Bachelor’s of Computer Science in India and took courses through Penn Foster to become Lead Teacher qualified. At The Goddard School, you can find Ms. Priya in our Get Set classroom. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her kids. She also likes to dance and learn Indian classical dance.

    Ms. Vandana joined our team in 2021 and began working with children in 2008. She earned her Master’s in psychology and also earned her Child Development Associate credential to be lead teacher qualified. You can find her working in our infant classroom with our youngest learners. While working at The Goddard School, Ms. Vandana enjoys supporting children’s learning and growth, interacting with children, and building parent partnerships. In her free time, she likes to relax and rest.

    Ms. Vidya joined our team in 2023 and has been working with children since 2016. She completed her bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering in 2015 and earned credit hours in Early Childhood Education which makes her Lead Teacher Qualified. She enjoys the work environment at The Goddard School and watching children learn and grow. In her free time, she likes to complete crafts.

    Assistant teacher
    Ms. Jasmine joined our team in 2022 and started working with children in 2021. She plans to continue her education to further her knowledge in Early Childhood Education. She has an interest in behavior therapy as well! You can find her in out Get Set classroom working with children who are finishing potty training before moving to preschool. Ms. Jasmine thinks that teaching young children is a blast. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog and her family.

    Ms. Nina joined our team in 2022 and has been working with children since 2021. She is currently working on earning her Child Development Associate credential and will be done in October 2023. Ms. Nina said she loves learning more and more about how to help children explore and succeed at new milestones in their lives. You can find her working in our First Steps classroom with the children that have just transitioned from infants. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore new cities. She is a mom to a cat named Potato, and she loves spending time with her family and friends!

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Sravani joined our team in 2021 and has also been working with children since 2021. She attended college in India and you can find her in our Toddlers classroom with the 2 year olds. When asked what she enjoys about working at The Goddard School, Ms. Sravani said The Goddard School is more than a workplace to her, and she feels very much happy when the kids welcome her with a smile. The leadership here is very supportive and the working environment is good with a lot of learning. In her free time, she loves cooking different Indian cuisines, gardening and extending her support to her daughter in her studies.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Lupe joined our team in 2022 and has been working with children since 2022 as well. She plans to take classes to become Lead Teacher qualified in the upcoming year. You can find Ms. Lupe working in our Young Toddlers classroom with some of our youngest learners. She enjoys working at The Goddard School because she gets to see the children learn, grow, and master new skills. In her free time, she spends time with family and friends, practices lashing, and choreographs from time to time!

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Savitha joined our team in 2023 and began working with children in 2018. She has a Bachelor’s in Commerce, a Master’s in Hospital Administration, an advanced diploma in Montessori kindergarten and nursery teacher training, and is currently enrolled in Early Childhood courses. Ms. Savitha says it is her passion to work with children and her goal to help them grow holistically. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing badminton.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Tanu joined our team in 2022 and has been working with children since 2015. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Calcutta, India. Currently she is pursuing ECE courses to elevate her early childhood skill set. While Ms. Tanu supports throughout the school, you can mainly find her in our Preschool 2 classroom. She believes that The Goddard school provides an amicable environment where she can work with children and help them to learn and nurture. A morning smile from children makes her day a very special day. In her free time, she loves to garden, listen to music and explore new places with her family.

    Hisako

    School Support
    Ms. Hisako joined our team in 2021 and has been working with children since 2011. She earned a home economics degree in Japan and a massage therapist and health education from the National Holistic Institute in the United States. You can find her in the kitchen, but she has maintained her training which allows her to fill in as an Assistant Teacher when needed. When asked what she likes about working at The Goddard School, Ms. Hisako said she enjoys watching the children learn and grow. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
