    The Brinson Family is excited to be the owners of The Goddard School located in Stafford, VA. Prior to joining the Goddard family, Ms. Wendy served in the United States Army for 21 years as a Military Police Officer. After retiring, she knew that she wanted to continue to service in a meaningful way in a career where she could touch lives. When she learned about the Goddard philosophy Ms. Wendy felt an immediate connection. Fostering the love of learning while providing a safe, nurturing environment for children coupled with her background, was a perfect fit. Their family goal is to make each family’s Goddard experience exceptional, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children to become confident learners as they develop. As the on-site owner, Ms. Wendy would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to visit her wonderful school and allow her to introduce you to her warm and professional faculty and tell you about the Goddard’s approach to lifelong learning!

    Hello, I'm Ms. Justine and I have over 16 years of experience working in a licensed childcare setting. I have worked with every age group, while my biggest passion was working with preschool age. Watching them learn new things all while developing independence! Coming into management and out of the classroom has been quite an adjustment, there is so much more to learn and room to grow. I look forward to growing and continuing to lead the school into the right direction.

In my 15 years, I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work as an infant teacher, a Home Childcare Provider, Behavior Technician, and Preschool Teacher. I believe teaching is learning from the children, my co-teachers, parents, and the community. I look forward to watching your child learn and grow during their time in my classroom.

I attended Dafus Academy high school in Ghana. I attended koforidu Senior secondary school in Ghana. I have worked with children for over ten years. I attended Stratford Career Institute To complete a child management class. I love Teaching children good morals and setting good examples. Currently, I am working on getting my CDA.

    Hello, I am the Camels Lead teacher! I have worked in childcare for over 9 years. I am currently working on receiving my ECE (Early Childhood Education Associate) from Germanna. I have 3 beautiful children at home and being a mom is the greatest highlight of my life. I believe my main job as a teacher is to assist and aid my students in becoming responsible, compassionate leader of the future.

    Hello! I am the assistant teacher here at Goddard. After saving a child's life from choking on a piece of bread back at home, I realized that working with children was what I wanted to do. I love watching them learn. My favorite children's books are "Good Night Moon" and The Very Hungry Caterpillar". Children are the hope of our bright future and I believe we can achieve our goals by being kind to children.

    Hello! I am the lead teacher in the Giraffes class. I’ve worked in childcare for 6 years. I accomplished this through training, working in a daycare, and a love for children. My favorite children’s book is any Dr. Seuss books or Jonie B. Jones books. My favorite children’s song is “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas”. I am so excited to be apart of The Goddard School and help your child grow and develop.

    Hi there, My name is Christina and I am so excited to be in Stallions A class! I can't wait to get to know more about your child but first I want you to know a few things about me. I am from Loudon County and moved here in 1998. I have three sisters and one brother and I am the oldest out of them all. My birthday is March 21st. I have three children and a spouse for going on twelve years. I enjoy hiking, biking, cooking, crocheting, bowling, listen to all types of music, breeding ball pythons rats, being with my pets, being with family and friends. A few of my favorites include chocolates, Skittles, getting my nails done, Chipotle, coffee, Dr. Pepper, flowers, the color green, chex mix, Monopoly, and reading Charloette's Web.

I have an associate degree in early childhood development and am currently progressing towards my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have two kids of my own, a daughter who is college bound and a son whose dream is to further his education with the Naval Academy. I treat my class like my family with love and care and believe they are capable of achieving everything they dream of.

One of my biggest challenges I faced was when I moved out of my home state. One of my proudest accomplishments is excelling in my classroom activities. My favorite children's book is "The Lorax" By: Dr. Seuss, it's such a fantastic book that teaches us the importance of taking care of our environment.

My journey began with a simple love for working with children which led me to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education to further hone my skills. One of my favorite books that I often share with my students is "Oh, the Places You'll Go" By: Dr. Seuss, which encourages them to dream big. My favorite children's song is "It's raining tacos". As an assistant teacher my goal is to guide and lead your children toward success. Witnessing their growth, both academically and personally is the most rewarding part of my job.

    Hello! My name is Ms. Aisha and I am the lead teacher in the Crocodiles classroom. I have been working in Early Education for over 10 years and have been with Goddard for 3 ½ years. I am currently working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education. Over my 10 years working in childcare, I have worked with all age groups from infant to School Age. I have held many titles including Curriculum Advocate and Supervisor. My absolute favorite thing about working with children is encouraging them when they meet a challenge and seeing their face light up when they overcome that change.

    Hello! My name is Ms. Sue Ann and I am the lead teacher in the Wolves classroom. I currently hold an Associate’s of Art’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am working towards a Batchelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in Administration. I have worked in the childcare field for over 20 years in a Military Installations overseas and within the United States. I have had the opportunity to work with children as a Toddler Lead Teacher, a Preschool and Kindergarten teacher, also as an Enrichment Program Teacher. My favorite book is “Oh The Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. My passion in working with children comes from my love of supporting and guiding children in their early developmental years.

I started working at Goddard my sophomore year of high school and have had the most experience with school age and Summer Camp. I have experience in healthcare and volunteering as an EMT. I am currently completing my general studies and plan on getting my bachelor’s studying Human Development and Family Science with the intention of getting my masters in counseling. When it comes to childcare I am very passionate about everything I do. I hope to create a fun and safe environment for children to learn and express themselves.
