Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. Gary is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA. Gary holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has 20+ years of business and educational experience. As a father of two boys, whom have already graduated from a Goddard School, Gary recognizes the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. He is very excited to be part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for children in the community. Gary looks forward to introducing you to our incredible faculty, and showing you around our state–of–the–art facility!

Ms. Lori is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA alongside her husband, Gary. Lori holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Duke University. She has over 20 years of business experience. Lori loves children and understands the Goddard experience as both a parent and an owner. Gary and Lori have two boys in grade school who have graduated from a Goddard School. Lori is excited to be a part of the lives of children and families in the community. She strives to create a loving and nurturing environment for the children and staff.

Ms. Pamela is our Director. She holds an Early Childhood Education certification from Ellis University with 27 years of experience in providing ECE training for professional development to childcare professionals in DC, Maryland and Virginia. She began her career as an infant teacher and found her love of teaching after being promoted to lead two-year old teacher. Through hard work and passion, she advanced from lead teacher to management where she found her true passion. Ms. Pamela's focus is on creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment where children thrive, families feel supported and educators grow.

Ms. Tiffany is our Assistant Director. She holds certificates in early childhood development and education and is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in early childhood development. Ms. Tiffany has been working in the childcare field since 2012. Over these years the children have taught her a lot and she enjoys learning new and fun things from the children every day.

Ms. Taylor is Co-Lead Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She has ten years' experience working in childcare centers and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA). Ms. Taylor became a teacher because she wants to make a difference in children's lives. She loves when kids get excited about learning something new. In her spare time Ms. Taylor enjoys traveling with her godchildren, scrapbooking her adventures, the beach, reading and coloring.

Ms. Ky is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom. She has over eight years' experience working with infants and is currently pursuing a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. Ms. Ky enjoys reading, going to the beach, traveling, yoga, getting her nails done and going outside for some fresh air.

Ms. Maribel is the Lead Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She earned her bachelor's degree in education in 2002. Ms. Maribel has been working in the early childcare field since 2003. It's her continued passion to teach and watch her children grow and learn.

Ms. Aileen is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler Classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and has 8 years of experience working in early childhood development centers. Ms. Aileen has a passion for helping young children learn and achieve. She enjoys listening to music, dancing, exercise, travel, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Miya is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She graduated from high school in 2020 and fell in love with working in childcare after a summer job at a childcare center. She is the youngest of 4 girls, has moved 15 times in her life and has a pet cat, Ryan. Ms. Miya loves to do make-up and art in her free time.

Ms. Melissa is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She has over twenty years' experience in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Melissa is focused on early literacy and emotional regulation. She recently moved to the area from Northern Virginia with her kids and enjoys reading and crocheting.

Ms. Sharen is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has over four years' experience in licensed childcare facilities and over three years' experience as a lead two's teacher, her favorite age to work with. Ms. Sharen loves to spend time with family and play with her turtle and two dogs in her free time.

Ms. Angela is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Classroom. She has more than ten years' experience working in early childhood education. Ms. Angela loves the curiosity of children and helping them learn to use words, make choices, and develop their independence. She enjoys watching their personalities shine through. Ms. Angela has 3 children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys family time, reading, puzzles and the beach.

Ms. Catie is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked in childcare for over five years and is studying early childhood development through the University of Phoenix. Ms. Catie loves spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and his daughter. She enjoys sushi and kit-kats and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ms. Krista is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She received her certificate in early childhood development in 2013 and has several years experience as a lead teacher. Ms. Krista also volunteers to teach Sunday school and sings in the worship band. She is a single mom with one daughter and enjoys reading, sewing, baking, and taking care of her pet chickens.

Ms. Nattie is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She has been working with children for over nine years. Ms. Nattie has a huge love for children and for Disney. She loves to sing in the church choir and teach Sunday school. Her joy is to watch children grow and learn.

Ms. Auri is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Toddler Classroom. She has worked in childcare for over six years. Ms. Auri started in childcare when she was 18 and fell in love with caring for children. She has worked with different age groups from infants up to 5 years old as both an assistant and lead teacher. Helping children to learn and develop many academic skills daily has always been her joy.

Ms. Aisha is the Co- Teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom. She has 12 years of experience working with children from infants to elementary age. Ms. Aisha is the oldest of 8 children so has always taken care of little ones. She loves working with young children and seeing them thrive, learn and grow. Ms. Aisha is originally from New York. She has two cats and loves to knit and crochet.

Ms. Violet is an Assistant Teacher who floats where needed in Preschool and Pre-K. She has an associate's degree in early childhood education, two certificates in early childhood and a health certificate. Ms. Violet loves to see children learn and grow every day. She cultivated this passion volunteering in the children's section of the library. Ms. Violet also loves to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

Ms. Karma is the Assistant Teacher in our Preschool 2 classroom. Her goal is to pursue a degree in early childhood education. She loves the curiosity of children – their fun and creativity. Ms. Karma has a two-year-old son and loves art, reading, being outside and nature.

Ms. Brittany is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked in childcare for fifteen years, including at two Goddard Schools in Maryland, and has her associates degree with a concentration in early childhood and special education. Ms. Brittany enjoys the curiosity of children and wants to foster the needs of children. She is married and enjoys playing with her 3 Great Danes, going to the movies and playing board games with friends.

Ms. Maria is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She is from Puerto Rico and moved to Fredericksburg in 2018. Ms. Maria has always loved working with children and taught at her local church since she was 18 years old. She sings in the worship band at church and enjoys cooking, singing, and going to the park with her family.

Ms. Danyel is a multi-classroom Assistant Teacher. She has been teaching for five years. Ms. Danyel loves kids because of their imagination and unique personalities. Her hobbies include dancing, crocheting, and spending time with God. Ms. Danyel currently attends Liberty University online. She plans to become an English teacher to help more little minds grow.

Ms. Ruth is the Food Specialist and a floating assistant teacher with three years childcare experience in both childcare facilities and her church's childcare ministry. Ms. Ruth keeps our classroom toys clean and sanitized while providing nutritious snacks during morning and afternoon snack time. She helped raise her two sisters and has always loved kids and teaching. Ms. Ruth is a kid at heart and finds joy in children. Ms. Ruth loves shopping, going out, and making people laugh.
