Our Teachers

Mr. Gary is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA. Gary holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has 20+ years of business and educational experience. As a father of two boys, whom have already graduated from a Goddard School, Gary recognizes the importance of providing a consistent and strong curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment. He is very excited to be part of The Goddard School and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for children in the community. Gary looks forward to introducing you to our incredible faculty, and showing you around our state–of–the–art facility!

Ms. Lori is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School in Fredericksburg, VA alongside her husband, Gary. Lori holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Duke University. She has over 20 years of business experience. Lori loves children and understands the Goddard experience as both a parent and an owner. Gary and Lori have two boys in grade school who have graduated from a Goddard School. Lori is excited to be a part of the lives of children and families in the community. She strives to create a loving and nurturing environment for the children and staff.

Ms. Pamela is our Director. She holds an Early Childhood Education certification from Ellis University with 27 years of experience in providing ECE training for professional development to childcare professionals in DC, Maryland and Virginia. She began her career as an infant teacher and found her love of teaching after being promoted to lead two-year old teacher. Through hard work and passion, she advanced from lead teacher to management where she found her true passion. Ms. Pamela's focus is on creating a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment where children thrive, families feel supported and educators grow.

Ms. Tiffany is our Assistant Director. She holds certificates in early childhood development and education and is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in early childhood development. Ms. Tiffany has been working in the childcare field since 2012. Over these years the children have taught her a lot and she enjoys learning new and fun things from the children every day.

Ms. Taylor is the Lead Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She has ten years' experience working in childcare centers and is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA). Ms. Taylor became a teacher because she wants to make a difference in children's lives. She loves when kids get excited about learning something new. In her spare time Ms. Taylor enjoys traveling with her godchildren, scrapbooking her adventures, the beach, reading and coloring.

Ms. Maribel is the Lead Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She earned her bachelor's degree in education in 2002. Ms. Maribel has been working in the early childcare field since 2003. It's her continued passion to teach and watch her children grow and learn.

Ms. Aileen is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler Classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and has 8 years of experience working in early childhood development centers. Ms. Aileen has a passion for helping young children learn and achieve. She enjoys listening to music, dancing, exercise, travel, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Miya is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She graduated from high school in 2020 and fell in love with working in childcare after a summer job at a childcare center. She is the youngest of 4 girls, has moved 15 times in her life and has a pet cat, Ryan. Ms. Miya loves to do make-up and art in her free time.

Ms. Angela is a Co-Lead Teacher in our Two-year-old Classroom. She has more than ten years' experience working in early childhood education. Ms. Angela loves the curiosity of two-year-olds and helping them learn to use words, make choices, and develop their independence. She enjoys watching their personalities shine through. Ms. Angela has 3 children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys family time, reading, puzzles and the beach.

Ms. Caeley is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has six years' experience working in licensed childcare facilities and is working towards a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. Ms. Caeley became a teacher because children bring her joy. She loves watching children grow and seeing them learn new things. The bonds Ms. Caeley creates keep her motivated. Ms. Caeley also loves art and reading.

Ms. Krista is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She received her certificate in early childhood development in 2013 and has several years experience as a lead teacher. Ms. Krista also volunteers to teach Sunday school and sings in the worship band. She is a single mom with one daughter and enjoys reading, sewing, baking, and taking care of her pet chickens.

Ms. Connie has been the lead teacher for our Preschool 2 class since 2016. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. Ms. Connie is married with two children. She enjoys family, museums, and day trips. Ms. Connie strives to help children explore their environment, learn social and academic skills, and reach their full potential for success in school.

Ms. Catie is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked in childcare for over five years and is studying early childhood development through the University of Phoenix. Ms. Catie loves spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and his daughter. She enjoys sushi and kit-kats and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ms. Amanda is the Co-Lead Teacher in our Pre-K Classroom. She has her bachelor's degree in education and two years' experience working in childcare at the Pre-K level. Ms. Amanda loves kids and their creativity and eagerness to learn. Originally from the Chicago area, Ms. Amanda is close to her parents and three sisters. She enjoys spending time with friends and her boyfriend, running/walking, and taking time for selfcare.

Ms. Rose is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has worked with children (infant to school age) over 10 years. Ms. Rose studied early childhood development and has an associates in science and medical administration. Her passion is science and she is excited to help children explore and develop a love for nature and science. Ms. Rose is from Poland and has 3 children of her own.

Ms. Danyel is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant Classroom. She has been teaching for five years. Ms. Danyel loves kids because of their imagination and unique personalities. Her hobbies include dancing, crocheting, and spending time with God. Ms. Danyel currently attends Liberty University online. She plans to become an English teacher to help more little minds grow.

Ms. Nattie is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She has been working with children for over nine years. Ms. Nattie has a huge love for children and for Disney. She loves to sing in the church choir and teach Sunday school. Her joy is to watch children grow and learn.

Ms. Aisha is the Assistant Teacher in our Get Set classroom. She has 12 years of experience working with children from infants to elementary age. Ms. Aisha is the oldest of 8 children so has always taken care of little ones. She loves working with young children and seeing them thrive, learn and grow. Ms. Aisha is originally from New York. She has two cats and loves to knit and crochet.

Ms. Maria is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She is from Puerto Rico and moved to Fredericksburg in 2018. Ms. Maria has always loved working with children and taught at her local church since she was 18 years old. She sings in the worship band at church and enjoys cooking, singing, and going to the park with her family.

Ms. Brittany is the Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom. She has worked in childcare for fifteen years, including at two Goddard Schools in Maryland, and has her associates degree with a concentration in early childhood and special education. Ms. Brittany enjoys the curiosity of children and wants to foster the needs of children. She is married and enjoys playing with her 3 Great Danes, going to the movies and playing board games with friends.

Ms. Hafsa is the Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K Classroom. She holds a bachelor's degree in arts and has taught kindergarten for two years. Ms. Hafsa became a teacher because she desires to make a contribution in children's lives and help them grow into confident individuals. She has four children who have helped her understand the importance of creating a supportive environment. Ms. Hafsa has a passion for traveling and has been fortunate to visit 17 countries which has broadened her perspectives of different cultures.

Ms. Ruth is a floating assistant teacher with two years childcare experience in both childcare facilities and her church's childcare ministry. She helped raise her two sisters and has always loved kids and teaching. Ms. Ruth is a kid at heart and finds joy in children. She got married in 2023 and she and her husband enjoy leading worship music together at church. Ms. Ruth loves shopping, going out, and making people laugh.

Ms. Violet is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classrooms. She has an associate's degree in early childhood education, two certificates in early childhood and a health certificate. Ms. Violet loves to see children learn and grow every day. She cultivated this passion volunteering in the children's section of the library. Ms. Violet also loves to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
