Our Goddard School Teachers

Meet Mahjabeen and Imran Khan, the dedicated onsite owners of The Goddard School in Wylie, Texas! With a shared passion for high-quality education and inquiry-based learning, they are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. As parents of three children themselves, they understand the importance of a supportive and enriching educational experience. Their journey with The Goddard School began after moving to the DFW area, where they immediately recognized the need for high-quality education in their new community. With backgrounds in leadership roles within the Technology & Cybersecurity industry, including Master’s degrees in Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Accounting, they bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles as school owners. They invite you to visit their school and experience firsthand how their program encourages children to discover and explore their interests in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Ms. Melissa is our Operations Director. She comes to us with over 30 years of experience and a degree in Early Childhood Education. She started her career path as a toddler teacher and worked her way up as a mentor, curriculum coordinator and then through the years to a Director position where she learned much more about the family and operations side of Early Childhood. Her passion is all things ECE, and partnering with everyone who value quality in education and accreditation. She and her husband, Eric, have 2 children, Carson who is 18 and Parker who is 10. As a family, they enjoy game nights, bowling, dining out and nerf gun wars. She enjoys dabbling in mixed media and paper crafting, gardening and reading. Ms. Melissa looks forward to partnering with families, and to working alongside the Goddard School’s team to help foster in children a lifelong love of learning, and confidence for life.

Ms. Jada is our Director of Curriculum and Education . She has her Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the College of St. Scholastica, in Duluth Minnesota and her Master's degree in Psychology with a focus in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University. Ms. Jada spends her free time traveling, trying new foods and experiencing new things. She hopes to use her experience to create strong bonds with the children and families.

Ms. Valerie enriches each day at Goddard with enthusiasm and dedication. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Texas A&M Texarkana. She finds joy in engaging with her students through reading, conversations, and laughter. Always forward-thinking, Ms. Valerie cultivates a positive and inclusive classroom environment, emphasizing the importance of individual bonds and fostering a dynamic atmosphere of fun and activity. Her passion lies in creating meaningful connections with each child, ensuring they feel valued and supported.

Ms. Olivia joins Goddard with an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Since 2019, she has gained valuable experience in a licensed childcare facility, where her passion for nurturing young minds flourishes. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys outdoor activities like walking and hiking, as well as meditating in nature. As a teacher, she finds great joy in witnessing her students reach important developmental milestones.

Ms. Rachael has been working in childcare for ten years and has worked with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. She loves spending her free time exercising and being outdoors. Ms. Rachael loves to research ways to be healthier and how to take care of others around her. Her favorite part of her day is seeing her babies master new milestones.

Ms. Uzma comes to Goddard with 10 years of experience. She has an undergraduate degree in microbiology. Ms. Uzma has worked with all ages but especially loves working with infants. In her free time she loves to cook and spend time with her family. She is married with 3 children. Ms. Uzma loves feeding time in class because she can create a connection and bond with each baby.

Ms. Krystal is our caring and dedicated Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher with a strong background in early childhood education. A 2015 graduate of Wylie High School and proud mom of four, she is passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where little ones can learn, grow, and thrive. Her goal is to support each child's development while helping them grow into confident, curious, and happy individuals. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Krystal enjoys spending time with her family and capturing special memories through photography.

Ms. Kimani is a caring and dedicated Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher with a wealth of experience supporting young learners! She loves being active with her students—whether it's running around on the playground or engaging in hands-on learning. She’s passionate about empowering children, meeting them where they are, and nurturing their growth every step of the way. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kimani is a big fan of The Office, sushi, and animals. She shares her home with two cats and one dog—and recently got engaged (congrats, Ms. Kimani!).

Ms. Jenna comes to Goddard with over 10 years of experience working in childcare. She is one of our Senior tenured teachers who has been with us since we opened. Ms. Jenna lives in a blended family with 7 children that keeps her very busy. In her free time she likes to cheer on her children in sports and spends her time watching baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and football. Ms. Jenna loves spending time in the classroom doing art projects and playing magna tiles.

Ms. Tien is our vibrant and loving Toddler Teacher who brings extraordinary passion to the classroom every single day! With a heart full of patience and joy, she adores playing, singing, and learning alongside our youngest little explorers. Nothing makes her smile more than watching her tiny students reach exciting milestones — from first steps to first words, she celebrates it all with enthusiasm and care. Ms. Tien’s fun and energetic spirit creates a warm, playful environment where toddlers feel safe, loved, and ready to grow!

We’re thrilled to have Ms. Meske as part of our Goddard family! With several years of teaching experience, she brings a vibrant energy and a deep love for early childhood education. Ms. Meske is passionate about creating a joyful classroom environment—and her favorite way to do that is through singing with her students! Outside of the classroom, she enjoys relaxing with a good book and cheering on her favorite soccer teams. She’s excited to bring positivity and joy to each day at Goddard!

Ms. Bella—is a passionate teacher with a special place in her heart for the terrific 2s! With a creative mind and a natural knack for potty training, she’s all about helping little learners take big steps with confidence. Ms. Bella is dedicated to creating thoughtful, intentional lessons that spark curiosity and set the foundation for future success. Her classroom is full of laughter, learning, and lots of love! She is so excited to be part of your child’s exciting journey!

Ms. Subul joins Goddard with extensive experience as a pediatric doctor in her home country of Pakistan. With a background in working closely with children, she is passionate about nurturing and supporting the growth of young minds. As a mother, Ms. Subul has a deep love for spending time with family, which is what inspired her decision to transition to teaching. Ms. Subul enjoys cooking and traveling in her free time. We are excited to have her on our team and look forward to the positive impact she will bring.

Ms. Daisy has been with Goddard for several years and we can see the love and passion she has for Early Childhood Education in how she manages her preschool classroom . She has seven siblings and loves spending time with her sister and niece. Ms. Daisy loves to go on car rides, watching the sunset, getting Boba and watching movies. She loves to come to work because she can help teach her class Spanish language . Ms. Daisy loves making the kids laugh and playing fun games.

Ms. Husna has been a valued member of the Goddard team for several years, contributing significantly across various classrooms. She has particularly excelled in working with preschool-aged children, where she thrives in fostering their learning and curiosity. Ms. Husna enjoys engaging her students through reading and science experiments, observing their excitement as they explore new concepts. Outside of the classroom, she cherishes quality time with her family and children.

Ms. Jessica has been working in childcare since 2015 and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. She enjoys hearing the often amusing stories that children share, which she feels adds to the joy of her work. Ms. Jessica graduated from Remington College with an Associate's degree in Medical Assisting. In 2019, she got married and is now the proud mother of a wonderful daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing games, and watching movies together. Ms. Jessica is also passionate about crafting and reading!

Ms. Cinthya is our amazing teacher in the Giraffes classroom! She brings five years of experience working with Pre-K students to our preschool team. Her passion for teaching began at the age of 15 when she became a Sunday school teacher, and she has continued to nurture that love ever since. Ms. Cinthya is TRS certified, with over three years of specialized training through the Texas Rising Star (TRS) program. A lifelong learner herself, she is dedicated to inspiring that same love of learning in her students. She’s committed to providing them with the tools, support, and resources they need to succeed—and is excited to witness their growth throughout the year. Fluent in both English and Spanish, and with a strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), Ms. Cinthya connects easily with a diverse group of learners. Her creative, hands-on teaching style fosters a classroom environment where learning is fun, engaging, and collaborative.

We are excited to have Ms. Manar as part of our Goddard team! With a true passion for working with children, she brings enthusiasm and dedication to the classroom. Ms. Manar especially enjoys teaching math and helping young minds build confidence with numbers. Outside of the classroom, she loves the summer months and enjoys spending her free time swimming. She’s excited to be part of the Goddard family, and we’re thrilled to have her on board!

Ms. Sidra has been our lead teacher in the Pre-kindergarten classroom for several years . She has a bachelor’s degree in law and religion and she is also an AMS certified Montessori teacher. She has more than six years of experience in childcare working with the 18 months to 6 years age group. She is married and has three kids, an 11-year girl, and two boys 9 and 5 years. She loves teaching and has a passion for childcare and making a real difference in the lives of her students. She takes pride in contributing to the development of the children by offering a holistic student-centered approach.

We’re excited to have Ms. Jennifer as part of our Goddard team! She brings with her 8 years of valuable experience in early childhood education. Known for her warm and bubbly personality, Ms. Jennifer has a passion for helping children develop foundational skills, especially in number and letter recognition. In her free time, she enjoys expressing her creativity through painting.

Ms. Ashley brings a natural charisma and a genuine love for working with children of all ages. Her playful spirit and eagerness to engage make her a favorite among the children. Outside the classroom, Ms. Ashley enjoys expressing her creativity through makeup artistry in her free time.

Ms. Ashley comes to Goddard with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a focus in Elementary and Special Education. She has experience teaching at her church, and has previously worked in a Montessori school. Ms. Ashley likes to spend time with her parents and her younger brother. In her free time she likes listening to music, drawing, writing and crafting. Ms. Ashley's favorite part of her day is being greeted by the kids and being able to get to know each of them.

Ms. Emine is a passionate and dedicated educator with a degree in Child Development and Education. With over five years of experience in early childhood education, she believes that every child has the potential to succeed when provided with the right support and encouragement. Ms. Emine is committed to creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that nurtures emotional, social, and cognitive development. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.

Ms. Hanife joins Goddard with a degree in mathematics and a background in teaching the subject. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, going for walks, and watching movies. A dedicated educator, she finds great fulfillment in teaching and engaging with her students through reading, play, and a variety of enjoyable activities.

Ms. Milvia brings years of teaching experience and a heart full of passion to the classroom! She believes in the power of imagination and loves helping children learn through play, curiosity, and creativity. She treasures those lightbulb moments when kids discover something new and takes joy in watching them grow. Outside of school, Ms. Milvia loves spending time with her family and making meaningful memories. She’s excited to be part of your child’s learning journey!

Ms. Nezah is our culinary magician, with a true passion for hosting dinner parties and an exceptional flair for planning events. A creative artist both in and out of the kitchen, her magic goes far beyond the dinner table! She ensures that all our lunches and snacks are not only delicious but also packed with wholesome nutrition. When she's not whipping up something tasty, Ms. Nezah enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her passion and love for what she does here at The Goddard School shine through in everything she creates.
