Our Goddard School Teachers

As a mother, I understand how important it is to know that your child is surrounded by people who genuinely care for them, that belief is at the heart of everything I do at our school. My name is Gayatri Brahmbhatt, and I am the proud Owner of The Goddard School of Frisco West. With a master’s degree in Business Administration focused on Human Resources, my professional journey has always centered around people. Becoming a mother deepened my passion for children and the importance of giving them a strong foundation during their earliest years. Our mission is to create a warm, inspiring space where every child is cared for like our own—with love, respect, and the highest standard of care. We empower our educators to be more than teachers—to be nurturers who build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. I want every child to feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn—and every parent to know they have a true partners in their child’s journey.

Ms. Wendy joins our Goddard team with over 26 years of experience in education. She is bilingual and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Throughout her career, Ms. Wendy has had the privilege of teaching in four different countries, bringing a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse learning experiences. She has also been a dedicated member of the Goddard School community for more than seven years. Ms. Wendy is married and the proud mother of two children. Outside the classroom, she enjoys exercising, dancing, reading, traveling, scuba diving, painting, and crafting. Her favorite book is “You Are Special” by Max Lucado. Her favorite part of working with children is witnessing the wonder in their eyes as they learn something new. Ms. Wendy believes that children have an extraordinary capacity to give and receive love, and she finds great joy in nurturing their growth and curiosity every day.

Ms. Marakey joins the Goddard School with 7 years of experience in childcare. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from North Carolina Central University. She has two children and enjoys painting, reading, and doing cross word puzzles in her free time. Her favorite children’s book is Corduroy by Don Freeman. She loves teaching children new skills, building on what they already know, and watching them grow.

Ms. Sheri has been a valued member of The Goddard School of Frisco since March 2011. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a concentration in infants and toddlers. With the infant classroom as her home for the past 15 years, Ms. Sheri finds joy in the children’s smiles and happy faces as they learn through play. Her favorite children’s book is Bats at the Beach by Brian Lies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, taking walks, and spending time with her husband and children.

Ms. Riley joined The Goddard School of Frisco West in May 2025 and brings over five years of early childhood experience. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment that builds curiosity, confidence, and kindness—especially in the infant classroom. Outside of school, Riley enjoys reading, sewing, crocheting, baking, running, and fishing. Her favorite children’s book is Three Little Kittens by Jerry Pinkney.

Mrs. Eliane holds a Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Early Childhood through 6th grade from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has 13 years of experience in early childhood education. She has been at the Goddard School of Frisco West for 5 years since May 2021. She chose to work in the Early Childhood Education field because she loves witnessing "light bulb" moments as children learn something new and express their growing creativity and imagination. She speaks 3 languages: Arabic, French, and English. She enjoys baking, shopping, spending quality time with her husband, son and family and loves crafting and decorating.

Desiree Rivas is a proud mother of three children, with another little one on the way. She has been married for six years and has five years of experience in early childhood education. Her love for working with children began at a young age through babysitting family members and continued into her professional career. Desiree believes that building strong relationships with children and their families is an important part of creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Outside of childcare, she is a part-time lash artist and enjoys helping women feel beautiful and confident.

Johnetta holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for helping young children learn, grow, and reach new milestones inspired her to pursue a career in childcare. She joined The Goddard School of Frisco West in 2020 and enjoys creating a fun, loving, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Outside of the classroom, Johnetta enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, bowling, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints. She is grateful to have a career that allows her to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.

Tyerra Payne, also known as Mrs. T, holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Education and has held her Director’s License since May 2025. She has 15 years of experience working in childcare with children ages 1–5. Tyerra chose Early Childhood Education because she loves watching children grow and develop while being part of their learning journey. She joined The Goddard School of Frisco West in 2025 and truly enjoys creating a fun, nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive. Outside of the classroom, Tyerra loves crafting with her Cricut, spending quality time with her family, and—fun fact—she absolutely loves to sing!

Mrs. Heather has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and has been part of The Goddard School since May 2023. She currently teaches in our Bridge classroom, working with children ages 2–3 and supporting them as they grow, learn, and transition into the next stage of development. She loves creating fun, developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment. In her free time, Mrs. Heather enjoys crafting, cooking, word puzzles, reading romance novels, and watching horror movies. Her favorite part of teaching is discovering each child’s unique personality and watching them shine like bright stars!

Ms. Liezl graduated from Central Visayas Polytechnic College (CVPC) in the Philippines and began her Early Childhood Education journey as a preschool teacher. After gaining two years of teaching experience, she moved to the United States and joined The Goddard School of Frisco West in May 2014. She loves working with children because of the joy and curiosity they bring each day and believes educators learn just as much from children as children learn from them. Outside of school, Ms. Liezl enjoys organizing, gardening, exploring new restaurants, and trying different foods!

Ms. Melissa joined The Goddard School of Frisco in 2023. Originally from the Detroit, Michigan area, she has been dedicated to child development since 1989, bringing decades of experience and a genuine passion for early childhood education. Ms. Melissa holds her CDA credentials and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Education at Texas Women’s University. Outside of the classroom, she is a proud dog mom and aunt to an energetic six-year-old girl. As a Detroit native, she is a big fan of football and hockey. Additionally, she enjoys all things plants and being creative, ensuring that our classroom is always filled with hands-on fun and imagination.

Morgan is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education and has 10 years of experience in childcare, including four years as a Preschool and Pre-K teacher. Becoming a teacher has been a lifelong dream, and she loves creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. Pre-K holds a special place in Morgan’s heart because of the wonder and curiosity children bring to the classroom each day. She joined The Goddard School of Frisco West in 2026 and is proud to be part of the Goddard family. Outside of the classroom, Morgan enjoys painting, crafting, reading, hiking, and spending time with her six animals!

Ms. Stacia joined the team at Goddard Frisco in 2016. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as certifications in both Yoga and Infant Massage. With the support of Goddard, she obtained Director’s Credentials in 2022. Stacia resides in Prosper with her husband, daughter, and fur baby, Jax. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, Pilates and trips back home to Canada. Her favorite children’s book is The Lion and the Mouse by Jenny Broom.

Mrs. Maria brings over 20 years of experience working with young children and is an expert in early education food requirements and standards. As a valued new member of the Goddard School of Frisco team, she plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality food service—always served with love. In addition to preparing nutritious meals, Mrs. Maria tends to the Goddard Garden and leads our engaging cooking enrichment program, giving every learner hands-on experiences that connect food, fun, and learning. Outside of school, Mrs. Maria enjoys cooking large meals for her family and spending time with her husband, three daughters, five grandchildren, and her newest joy—a great-grandchild!

Grace Kohl has worked in childcare for two years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Texas at Dallas in the spring of 2025. She loves bringing her theatre experience into the classroom to help children develop self-confidence and self-expression. Her hobbies include musical theatre, watching movies with her partner, and doing way too many crafts! Grace enjoys bringing positive, energetic vibes into the classroom. Helping children navigate the world in their own unique ways and watching them explore are the greatest highlights of being a teacher.

Ms. Zenia has worked in childcare for three years and is currently attending school to pursue her passion for nursing. She enjoys learning new things and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. In her free time, Ms. Zenia loves spending time with her husband, watching movies, and enjoying lots of delicious snacks. She is excited to continue her journey and bring her caring and positive personality to the children and families she works with.

We are excited to welcome Ms. Essence to our Goddard Family! She joined our team in June 2025 and brings over 4 years of experience in early childhood education. A graduate of Westbury High School, Ms. Essence is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where children can grow and thrive. She loves watching the transformation that takes place over the school year—seeing children develop new skills, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. Her favorite children’s book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, and she enjoys connecting with children through stories and play. When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Essence enjoys watching movies, shopping, and spending quality time with her kids. We’re so glad to have her energy and experience on our team!

Ms. Isabella graduated from Hollins University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at Texas Woman’s University, along with her Texas EC–6 certification. She brings several years of experience working with children through early childhood education, student teaching, tutoring, nannying, babysitting, and volunteering. Ms. Isabella chose Early Childhood Education because she loves watching children learn, grow, and celebrate new milestones. She joined The Goddard School in 2026 and is excited to continue growing alongside her students. Outside of school, Ms. Isabella is a huge cat lover and enjoys expressing her creativity in any way she can!
