Our Teachers

Sarah is the on-site owner for The Goddard School located in Cypress. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and she and her husband are the proud parents of 4 teenage boys, including a set of triplets. Sarah recognized the need for quality childcare that could provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children and has been nothing short of impressed with The Goddard School commitment to create just that. A resident of Cypress, she is proud to bring this fun atmosphere to this area in which she and her family live. Her door will always be open for the thoughts, questions and comments from our families. Sarah is the Owner of the Cypress location, as well as the Bridgeland location.

Ms. Kat is the Area Director for our Cypress 1 and Bridgeland locations. She has 25 years of experience as an early childhood educator. Kat attended the University of Houston and holds a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Kat has 20+ years experience as a Director. She is an advocate for early childhood education and strongly believes in quality. Kat has led several schools through the NAEYC and Cognia Accreditation process and served as a liaison for many other centers. Kat’s passion for the field comes from her deep desire to make a difference in the lives of all children.

Ms. Victoria is the Assistant Director here at the Goddard School! She began her journey here as the Toddler teacher and majority of her time in her classroom building lasting relationships with families and aiding in the growth and development of all the children. She currently holds an associate degree. She has spent most of her life caring for children and helping them grow! She has a daughter Acia that keep her busy and certainly on her toes. She loves watching kids learn and have fun while doing it!

Mrs. Lucia is the Lead Teacher of our First Steps classroom. She has many years of experience teaching and always strives to give the most to her children. Lucia loves to see children learning through hands on experiences. Lucia has a Bachelor's degree in Education with a concentration in French and English as a second language. Lucia is a life long learner and thrives on staying current in ECE.

Mrs. Melannie is the Lead Teacher of the Get Setclassroom. She has 20+ years of experience as an early childhood educator! She has obtained both an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Child Development Certification (CDA). Mrs. Melannie’s passion for teaching comes from the children’s passion for learning. This passion drives Mrs. Melannie in creating a daily classroom experience that is both nurturing and filled with discovery.

Mrs. Nelsy is the Lead Teacher in the PreK 2 classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Nelsy has worked with all ages of students - infants to kindergarten. Her experience includes 11 years as a Kindergarten teacher in Holguin, Cuba. Mrs. Nelsy believes that learning takes place best in a positive and happy environment.

Ms. Darian is our afternoon Floating Assistant. She currently a student at Lone Star College and will graduate with the Associate Degree soon. She believes that all children are loving and understands that each child develops differently.

Ms. Monica is the Lead Teacher in our Young Toddler classroom. She has more than 17 years of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Monica has her CDA certificate. She was very excited to start her journey as a Young Toddlers teacher here at Goddard school. She has worked with all ages of children, but young kids hold a special place in her heart. nothing makes her happier than watching young children grow!

Ms. Claudia is the Assistant teacher in our Infants room. She has more than two years of experience working with children of all ages. Ms. Claudia believes that all children deserve love and patience from their teachers.

Ms. Kimberly is our Lead Toddler Teacher. Ms. Kimberly came from California, and she has more than 3 years of experience in childcare. She believes in maintaining a positive environment where students are actively engaged. Ms. Kimberly believes all children are unique in their abilities and strives to create an environment suitable for all.

Ms. Noor is the Lead Teacher in our PreK 1 Classroom. Ms. Noor graduated from University of Houston and has her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Noor has over than two years of experience working with children in Katy ISD. She brings energy, care, and dedication into every aspect of her classroom. Her commitment to early childhood education shines through in her thoughtful teaching style, creating a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in every child.

Ms. Raven is our Lead Teacher Preschool 2 teachers with several years experience in early childhood education. Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment, Ms. Raven focuses on helping each child feel valued and confident as they explore new concepts and skills.

Ms. Ivette is the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddlers classroom. Ms. Ivette understands the unique needs of young children, ensuring that each child receives equal attention and opportunities to learn and grow.

Ms. Karis is an enthusiastic and compassionate assistant teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom with more than one year of experience in early childhood education. Originally from Iowa she has worked closely with children of different ages, supporting lead teachers in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Ms. Lesly is a part of our Pre-K teaching team! With some experience in early childhood education Ms. Lesly is dedicated to creating nurturing, engaging and educational environment for young learners. Ms. Lesly has a strong passion for helping children develop their social, emotional and academic skills.

Ms. Gabriel is the Assistant Teacher in the PreK 1 classroom. Ms. Gabriel has more than 4 years of experience working with children. She believes that school should be a place where children can have fun to learn and loves to learn about all the children's strongest skills.
