Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. Raul as the children call him, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School in Circle C Ranch. Raul recognizes how important it is for families to have a safe and nurturing environment for their children. He received his Bachelor’s degree in a Political Science at The University of Central Florida. Our owners, Raul and Isa Alvarez, would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to visit the beautiful new school, introduce you to their incredible faculty, and tell you all about the Goddard approach to learning. Jessica, born and raised in Austin, studied Child Development at the University of Texas of Austin and marched in the Longhorn Band for 4 years. She has worked in early childhood for 26 years and is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). She has presented at local and national conferences and has co-written Thrifty Teacher's Guide to Creative Learning Centers, a teacher resource book published in 2017. Most recently, from 2018-2020, Jessica served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Creative Reuse center, a non-profit organization. She has been with The Goddard School of Austin I since it's opening in 2009 and became director at the Circle C location when it opened in August of 2020.

Stephanie joined our sister school on Frate Barker in October of 2011. In the last 12 years she has worked with all ages, earned an associate's degree in Child Development, was a lead teacher in a pre-k classroom, and is now our Assistant Director at our Circle C school. Stephanie has two children of her own and one that attends the Goddard School. She enjoys photography, spending time with her family, and singing in her church choir. She loves working with children and enjoys seeing them learn and grow through the years.

Natalie is our second Assistant Director. Her previous experience in child care was working with toddlers and most recently an administrator at another child care center. Natalie was also swim instructor for 5 years and a dance instructor for 2 years. Ms. Natalie recently got married and has 2 little fur babies at home June and Jinks. She is excited to be a part of our team and feels working with children is the greatest accomplishment.

Ms. Megan is from San Angelo and joined our sister school in November of 2012. She obtained an associate's degree in Child Development in August 2016 and is our lead teacher in the Gecko room working with pre-k children, ages 4-5yrs. Megan has many years of experience working with children and has a daughter of her own. She enjoys the creativity her students bring to her classroom.

Monica V. began her career with us in September of 2017 at our sister school as an assistant teacher. She is now our lead teacher in the Sloth room with 3.6-4.6 year olds. She is currently completing her associate's degree in Child Development and has been a great asset to our team.

Ms. Karla joined The Goddard Circle C back when we opened in August 2020. She started off as a floater then was promoted to an assistant and now currently excited to be taking on a lead role in our Hummingbird room. She looks forward to building relationships with the families and babies. Ms. Karla now has a child of her own that attends Goddard and is excited to see him grow here as well.

Ms. Cailan has a bachelor's in history and a dog named Roxie who is like a 'child.' Cailan started as our first steps assistant teacher and is now our assistant in a young toddler room, Turtles. Cailan is excited about this transition and is looking forward to encouraging creativity and aiding each child's development.

Ms. Dani has been with the Goddard School since 2019! Ms. Dani transferred over from our Frate Barker location. Since then, she has exceeded expectations and has been a wonderful addition to the Turtle class!

Candi joined The Goddard School in 2022. She has 2 children of her own and is from California. She started as our young toddler lead teacher and has now moved to an older room, Lemurs. She has been a great addition to the team!

Ms. Kandy graduated Akins High School in 2022 and currently working towards getting a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has 2 cats Callie and Luna and enjoys running. Kandy loves being around children and joined Goddard to be surrounded by others who enjoy working with children just as much as she does.
