Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. Raul as the children call him, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School in Circle C Ranch. Raul recognizes how important it is for families to have a safe and nurturing environment for their children. He received his Bachelor’s degree in a Political Science at The University of Central Florida. Our owners, Raul and Isa Alvarez, would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to visit the beautiful new school, introduce you to their incredible faculty, and tell you all about the Goddard approach to learning. Jessica, born and raised in Austin, studied Child Development at the University of Texas of Austin and marched in the Longhorn Band for 4 years. She has worked in early childhood for 26 years and is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). She has presented at local and national conferences and has co-written Thrifty Teacher's Guide to Creative Learning Centers, a teacher resource book published in 2017. Most recently, from 2018-2020, Jessica served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Creative Reuse center, a non-profit organization. She has been with The Goddard School of Austin I since it's opening in 2009 and became director at the Circle C location when it opened in August of 2020.

Natalie is our second Assistant Director. Her previous experience in child care was working with toddlers and most recently an administrator at another child care center. Natalie was also swim instructor for 5 years and a dance instructor for 2 years. Ms. Natalie recently got married and has 2 little fur babies at home June and Jinks. She is excited to be a part of our team and feels working with children is the greatest accomplishment.

Ms. Megan is from San Angelo and joined our sister school in November of 2012. She obtained an associate's degree in Child Development in August 2016 and is our lead teacher in the Gecko room working with pre-k children, ages 4-5yrs. Megan has many years of experience working with children and has a daughter of her own. She enjoys the creativity her students bring to her classroom.

Ms. Kandy graduated Akins High School in 2022 and currently working towards getting a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has 2 cats Callie and Luna and enjoys running. Kandy loves being around children and joined Goddard to be surrounded by others who enjoy working with children just as much as she does.

Monica V. began her career with us in September of 2017 at our sister school as an assistant teacher. She is now our lead teacher in the Sloth room with 3.6-4.6 year olds. She is currently completing her associate's degree in Child Development and has been a great asset to our team.

Ms. Dani has been with the Goddard School since 2019! Ms. Dani transferred over from our Frate Barker location. Since then, she has exceeded expectations and has been a wonderful addition to the Turtle class!

Ms. Lily is our lead teacher in our preschool room, Lemurs. She began our program in 2024 and has been a great addition to our team. Lily is a creative teacher who loves designing fun, hands-on activities for her class. She brings fresh ideas that support the learning environment.

Candi joined The Goddard School in 2022. She has 2 children of her own and is from California. She started as our young toddler lead teacher, our preschool lead teacher and now has taken on the role of our school chef. She is an amazing cook and we are lucky to have her on our team!

Ms. Jennifer is our lead teacher in our young toddler room, Monarchs. Jennifer started in our school in 2024 and is currently taking Child Development classes at Austin Community College. Jennifer is a compassionate teacher who provides a safe and engaging learning environment. She has enjoyed working in the classroom supporting each child's social, emotional and developmental growth.

Ms. Julie is a creative and dedicated teacher. She joined our school in February 2025 and has been a great addition to the team. Ms. Julie creates age appropriate activities in her classroom that are engaging and original.

Ms. Angela has worked in the early childhood field for 14 years. She loves children and has children of her own. Her commitment to early childhood is apparent throughout the classroom.

Ms. Jenna comes with 2 years of experience in early childhood. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment. Ms. Jenna enjoys helping young children explore and build confidence through hands-on learning.

With 8 years of experience in early childhood, Ms. Monica loves being a part of children's early development and important milestones. She creates a warm and nurturing environment where every infant feels is safe and loved.
