Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Cassie is the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Philadelphia - Spring Garden. She holds a master’s degree from Saint Francis University and spent 14 years as an oncology physician assistant before moving into early childhood education. As a mother of three, she knows how much the early years matter and is committed to a safe, clean and joyful school where children receive high-quality care and a strong educational foundation. Her hands-on leadership lets her connect with every child, family and teacher, creating a warm and supportive school community.

Ms. Leena is the owner of The Goddard School of Philadelphia - Spring Garden. She earned her degree in Biology from Lebanon Valley College and opened her first Goddard School in York, Pennsylvania, in 2013 because its approach to early childhood education reflected her own beliefs. She values a safe, caring environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and play, and her goal is for every child to grow into a respectful, joyful and confident learner who is prepared for success in school and in life.

Ms. Ulexis is the Director of Operations and brings more than a decade of experience as an early childhood educator and director. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with young learners and their families, supporting each child’s development and emotional well-being through compassionate care and play-based learning. She collaborates with families and teachers to keep the school a safe, welcoming place where children and educators learn and grow together.

Ms. Bria is the Director of Education and has worked in child care since 2014. She holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and sees her role as helping each child unfold into who they are. Watching a child grasp a new task or reach a new milestone is what makes the work rewarding for her, and she brings that focus to supporting teachers across the school.

Ms. Angie is a Lead Infant Teacher with more than eight years of experience in early childhood education. She recently earned her Child Development Associate credential with a focus on infants and toddlers and plans to pursue an associate degree in special education. Her training gives infants attentive, responsive care during their earliest months.

Ms. Evelyn is a Resource Teacher who holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree. In more than 10 years in the field, including work in Head Start programs, she has built strong experience in lesson planning and individualized learning. That experience lets her step into any classroom and support children wherever she is needed.

Ms. Imani is a Lead Preschool Teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has served in both classroom and administrative roles in early childhood education, giving her a broad view of how children learn and grow. She loves watching preschoolers thrive.

Mrs. Veronica is a Lead Preschool Teacher with an associate degree in Psychology and 27 years of child care experience. She became a teacher to help children grow, learn and discover their unique potential, and her love of science fills her classroom with hands-on discovery.

Ms. Cassandra is a Toddler Teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State and four years of child care experience. Teaching, nurturing and supporting toddlers as they learn and grow feels like a dream come true for her, and she brings her love of crafting into hands-on activities in the classroom.

Ms. Tasia has been working with children for over 20 years. Teaching children is her passion. She is currently in the process of obtaining her CDA. Fun Fact: I teach during the day and I am an armed guard at night.

Ms. Treya is an Assistant Preschool Teacher with 13 years of child care experience and is working toward her Child Development Associate credential. She finds joy in watching preschoolers develop new skills and grow into confident individuals.

Ms. Kahlia is the Lead Twos Teacher with 29 years of experience working with toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children and an associate degree in Education. That range gives two-year-olds a teacher who knows what comes next in their development, and she chose this field because she is passionate about shaping the future through early education.

Ms. Sanaa is the Lead Toddler Teacher with four years of child care experience and studied Psychology at East Stroudsburg University. She holds a Child Development Associate credential and a Registered Behavior Technician credential, training that helps her understand and support each toddler’s behavior and growth. She believes the early years are incredibly important and loves being part of each child’s journey as they discover the world around them.

Ms. Zuri is an Assistant Teacher with a Child Development Associate credential and five years of child care experience. Her passion comes from helping young minds grow, and as a singer who writes her own songs, she brings music and energy into the classroom.

Ms. Laine is an Assistant Pre-K Teacher with five years of child care experience and is working toward her Child Development Associate credential. As the oldest of six children, she has been guiding younger children most of her life, and she finds it deeply rewarding to help Pre-K students grow into themselves as they get ready for kindergarten.
