    Owners
    Leena and Cassie are proud owners of the Goddard School in the wonderful community of Philadelphia (Spring Garden). Leena graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Biology Major. In 2013, she opened her first Goddard School in York, PA because her philosophy aligns with The Goddard School philosophy of providing the best early childhood education. Cassie graduated from Saint Francis University with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences. Prior to becoming a Goddard School owner, she practiced as an oncology Physician Assistant for 14 years. As mothers of three, providing safe, clean, fun-filled, quality care with an educational focus for children is invaluable. The Goddard School philosophy aligns with our own beliefs. Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to develop into a respectful, joyful, and confident learner who is prepared for success in school and in life.

    Cassie graduated from Saint Francis University with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences. Prior to becoming a Goddard School owner, she practiced as an oncology Physician Assistant for 14 years. As a mother of three, she believes that providing safe, clean, fun-filled, quality care with an educational focus for children is invaluable.

    Director
    Ms. Cierra has been in the Early Childhood Educational field for more than ten years, as a Pre-School teacher, Educational Specialist, and Center Director. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Studies. She is currently, working on her Master’s in Early Childhood Education, with a focus on Early childhood development in Urban Areas and specializing in Early Childhood Management/ Leadership. Her philosophy is that every child can learn, and the classroom should be the ultimate learning environment, while bridging real-life experiences. Furthermore, teachers and parents must build a relationship that promotes the development of the children. She has an amazing daughter, a dog named Cupid and a cat named Beyoncé. She has completed two marathons and has a collection of different types of plants.

    Infant Teacher
    Ms. Maddie holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Temple University and have been a childcare practitioner for a decade, both privately (in-home) and in a group childcare setting. Fun facts: I love nature and currently have around 20 houseplants! In addition to teaching, I have a passion for community engagement and grassroots organizing.

    Ms. Imani has her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Ever since she was a child herself, she wanted to work with children. She has been working with children since she was in High School. She has held various positions in the Early Childhood Education Field both in the classroom and as an administrator. She enjoys the Early Childhood Education field because it allows her to make a difference and help children thrive to meet their full potential.     Preschool Teacher
    Ms. Veronica is currently enrolled in Capella University bachelor's program to obtain her bachelor's in psychology. She has been working with children of various age groups for the last 24 years. She enjoys watching the development of children. Fun Fact: Math and science are my favorite subjects. I always thought I would grow up to become an accountant. My brother and I used to take things apart to figure out how they were wired and worked! My favorite food is pan-seared lollipop lamb chops. Favorite Quote: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” - Dr. Seuss

    Pre-K/Junior Kindergarten Teacher
    Ms. Tiffany is currently pursing her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has been working with children in the capacity of a mental health counselor role; working one on one with children in school, at home or in the community to offer behavior modification and mental health services for the last 7 years. She has experience in ABA therapy and Behavior Modification techniques. Fun Fact: I am a mother of a 20 & 23 year old dancer and music artist.

    Ms. Angie recently completed her CDA (child development associates) in infant and toddlers. She plans to prusue her associates degree in special education. She has been working in the ECE field for over 6 years. Fun Fact: I love owls

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Jane has been working with children for over 30 years. She enjoys learning about children’s individual needs, teaching, exploring, and having fun. She enjoys teaching and exploring new ideas, learning with activities, socializing, dancing, and learning through play. Fun Fact: Ms. Jane loves to dance, sing, and have fun! Favorite Quote: “Patience is the key to happiness and love. Love and a caring heart conquer over everything.”

    Evelyn

    Resource Teacher/Floater
    Ms. Evelyn holds her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Educaton and is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the ECE field for over 10 years. She has experience in Head Start Programming, Keystone Stars, Creative Curriculum, Lesson Planning/Individualized learning, and Pennsylvania State Standards. Fun Fact: My favorite food is Chicken Parmesan.

    Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Tasia has been working with children for over 18 years. Teaching children is her passion and she plans to pursue a degree in the ECE field in the future. Fun Fact: I teach during the day and I am an armed guard at night.

    Twos Teacher
    Ms. Bell holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Duquesne University. Before joining The Goddard School, Ms. Bell taught kindergarten in a public school. She has been working in schools for the past 6 years. Fun Fact: I love to travel, snowboard and ski, and spend time with my family, friends, and dogs.

    Ms. Ruby holds a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Art with an emphasis on education from Moore College of Art and Design. She had been working with children for 6 years nannying, tutoring, doing art workshops, and teaching. Fun fact: I have two cats named Pancake and Onion

    Ms. Amirah recently completed her associates degree in Psychology. She has worked with children for over 3 years through volunteer programs, working as a camp counselor, teaching and babysitting. Fun Fact: I do not like cheese
