Our Goddard School Teachers

I am excited to be the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Murrysville. I have three children of my own and recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing first educational experience. My family is the basis for the reason that I chose The Goddard School. I'm proud to offer the opportunity for children to grow through exploration and hands on learning. I'm happy to be able to provide The Goddard School's outstanding program to the surrounding community.

Bethani is one of the directors at the Goddard School in Murrysville. She has been working with children for over 15 years. She began her career at Seton Hill University and graduated with a dual major, A bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences: Childcare Administration. The Majority of her experiences has been in a Director role as she has effectively built and managed a center for many years. She loves working behind the scenes as well as hands on in the classroom! She has loved children her whole life and finds a reason to smile every time she is around them. One of her biggest joys of her career is being able to see children experience new things while providing a warm and safe place for them each day!

Bobbiesue is the Director of Education of The Goddard School in Murrysville, PA. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from California University of Pennsylvania and a PA Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education Prek-4. Bobbiesue has over 10 years of experience working with children from ages of 6 months to 12 years. She joined the Goddard School in June 2019 where she was the PreK Teacher. She was promoted to Director of Education February 2021. Bobbiesue loves watching children discover the world around them. She is honored to be a part of the Goddard School team.

Miss Alana is a Lead Teacher for the Preschool Program at The Goddard School in Murrysville. Miss Alana also spends time in the evenings in the office. She graduated from Carlow University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Development and Learning and obtained a minor in Child Development in Psychology. Miss Alana began her career at The Goddard School in Murrysville in August 2020. She has a passion for working with and teaching young children and believes that children learn the best through different play experiences. Miss Alana also believes that safe and nurturing classroom environments are essential for children. She strives to keep an open communication policy with the children, the families, and the other employees at The Goddard School. She is excited to begin her career at The Goddard School because she wants to make a difference in the lives of young children, and she plans to use her education and previous experience in the field to guide her and her teaching philosophy!

Miss Erin is a lead teacher in the Pre-K. She started at The Goddard School in July 2021. Miss Erin graduated from West Virginia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and plans on getting her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education in the future. Miss Erin loves working with children and has 5 years of experience in childcare. She believes the best way to help a child learn and grow is to create a safe and welcoming environment for them to thrive in. Miss Erin is looking forward to building positive relationships with the children and families!

Miss Charity is the lead teacher in the infant classroom. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Pittsburgh. Miss Charity has worked in the Dream classroom since January of 2022.

Miss Heather is one of the Lead Teachers in our PreK Program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She also has her Reading Specialist Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. Miss Heather has over 7 years of experience working with children and also spent time working for the Walt Disney Company in Florida. She loves watching children learn and grow and gain an excitement about the world around them. She is excited to use her experiences to create hands-on activities and help her students become life long learners!

Miss Julie is a Lead Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten Program. She joined the Goddard School in July 2019. She has spent time teaching in our one-year-old, two-year-old and Preschool programs prior to moving to Pre-K, where she has been since Fall of 2021. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Saint Vincent College and Masters Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She decided in third grade that she wanted to be a teacher and has now been working with children for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nephew, baking, crafting and all things Steelers and Harry Potter!

Miss Lizzy recently came back to Goddard after having her daughter Lillah who is now 2 and in the 2-year-old classroom! She has a little over 12 years of experience working with children and has a Bachelors Degree in Instructional Studies from Point Park University! Miss Lizzy is so excited to be part of your child’s education journey and can’t wait to make memories with them!

Miss Shanna is our teacher in the toddler (twos) classroom. She joined the Goddard School in June of 2023. She graduated with an associate's degree in 2008. Over the years she has taken on multiple roles such as toddler teacher, enrichment specialist, and assistant director. She has an infinite passion for teaching young children and enjoys witnessing their growth while in her care. This has lead her into being nominated for the teacher of the year award in 2024 & 2025. Outside of work Miss Shanna enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Chloe, painting, reading, and hiking.

Miss Mitzi started at the Goddard School in January of 2024 as a resource teacher. She is now one of our infant teachers and has a very creative artistic mind. Miss Mitzi enjoys going on walks with her dog Birdie in her spare time.

Miss Christa joined The Goddard School in August of 2023. She currently works in the toddler classroom.

Miss Mikaela is a lead teacher in our preschool classroom. She has been working at Goddard Murrysville since June of 2024.

Miss Gabby has had a big heart for early child education ever since she started baby-sitting as a teenager. She quickly fell in love with the idea of hands-on learning and started to pursue it in early child education centers. She believes that the power of playing is one of the best ways to learn. She cannot wait to start teaching and seeing the children learn about the world around them!

Mr. Caleb is an assistant teacher in our two year old classroom. Mr. Caleb has experience with being a substitute teacher and started at Goddard Murrysville in August of 2024. Mr. Caleb enjoys music and movement in the classroom.

Miss Chelsea started at the Goddard School in May of 2026. She is one of our resource teachers and spends time in all of our classrooms. She is currently attending Duquesne University. She enjoys playing tennis and going on hikes in her free time.

Miss. Kianna started at The Goddard School in April of 2026. She is a lead teacher in one of our two year old rooms. Miss Kianna earned her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Susquehanna University in 2025. Miss Kianna is very passionate about hands-on learning and learning through music. When she is not in her classroom, she is at home with her soon to be husband and dog Spencer. She loves reading and building Legos. She also loves everything Disney and Harry Potter.

Miss Gillian is very excited to have the opportunity to work as a resource teacher at the Goddard School and began working in May of 2025. Miss Gillian has an undergraduate degree from Robert Morris in Strategic Communications. She is now continuing her education and receiving her master's degree from Saint Vincent University in Early Childhood Education. Miss Gillian loves being able to work with children and to help them grow into strong, loving, caring, and independent individuals. She will continue to teach children the best way she can to make their education development stronger!

Miss Meghan is the lead teacher in the Imagine classroom and joined our team in May 2026. She earned her CDA certification in 2023 and has four years of childcare experience. As the oldest of ten cousins, she developed a love for working with children at an early age. She is excited to help each child learn, grow, and thrive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and relaxing with her cat, Binx.

Miss Lashonda is 29 years old. She is an Aunt and Godmother. She has been teaching for 9 years in Early Childhood Education. She has been part of The Goddard School since April of 2026 and she loves it. She is someone who believes in kindness, growth, and making a positive impact of children's lives. Miss. Lashonda has a caring heart and enjoys helping others. She is always looking for ways to learn, improve, and becoming the best version of herself.

Hi! My name is Sara. I was born and raised in Brazil, where I spent most of my life before moving to the United States two years ago. My first job here was working with children, and I quickly discovered my passion for early childhood education. I believe that care, kindness, and learning go hand in hand. I am also the proud mother of a wonderful little boy, who has taught me that every child has something unique and special to offer. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and enjoying a good barbecue. I feel grateful to be part of your child’s learning journey and look forward to building meaningful relationships with the children and their families.

Miss Sohela is one of our resource teachers and joined The Goddard School in June 2026. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in Studio Arts and History of Art and Architecture. Miss Sohela is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and encouraged to grow. She believes that creativity is an important part of learning and enjoys helping children express themselves through art while fostering their confidence, curiosity, and development.
