    I have proudly owned The Goddard School of Mechanicsburg for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to early childhood education. As a mother of four, I understand the importance of creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young learners. Before venturing into education, I worked as a pediatric RN for nearly 10 years, providing compassionate care to children and families. My dedication to service extends beyond the classroom—I have been deeply involved in the Mechanicsburg community for over two decades, fostering strong relationships and supporting local initiatives. As proud veteran, I bring discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of duty to everything I do. I am committed to ensuring every child at The Goddard School receives the highest quality care and education, preparing them for a bright and successful future!

    Miss Emily is the daughter of our owner, Nancy, and she absolutely loves being alongside her mom—watching the love, care, and passion that go into each and every day here at The Goddard School! Emily is currently a student at Penn State University, where she’s studying Early Childhood Education. When she’s not studying or helping out at Goddard, you can find her spending time with family and friends or riding horses. Her favorite part about Goddard is, planning fun summer camp activities for all of our amazing kiddos and seeing their smiles light up the day!

    Mrs. Emily has been working in early childhood education since 2013, beginning as a preschool assistant teacher and growing into a leadership role as a director. She studied Early Childhood Education at Immaculata University and earned her Pennsylvania teaching certification. Her teaching philosophy focuses on being present with children and encouraging hands-on learning through play. She enjoys building strong connections with children and their families, and believes that watching young children grow, explore, and gain confidence during their time in the program is the most rewarding part of her work. Outside of school, her favorite role is being a mom.

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Miss Jordan is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with over two years of hands-on experience caring for infants, in addition to her personal experience as a mother. She is passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and reach their developmental milestones. A classically trained singer, Miss Jordan brings creativity and a love for learning into her classroom, and she enjoys incorporating outdoor activities that inspire exploration and growth. Her greatest joy is making a positive impact in the lives of children and supporting their early learning journey.

    Lead Pretoddler Teacher
    Miss. Sky is our Lead Pre-Toddler Teacher. She aims to inspire creativity and create a safe space where children feel confident, valued, and supported in their growth. She values both group and independent activities so children can build social skills while also developing independence. Outside of work, she enjoys music and spending time with her mini Bernedoodle, Milo, and this year she is most excited to meet new children and continue growing in her career in early childhood education.

    Mrs. Kaitlyn has been teaching at The Goddard School in Mechanicsburg since 2021. She has worked in the childcare field for over 10 years and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She believes that children learn best through hands-on experiences, play, and positive reinforcement. Mrs. Kaitlyn’s favorite part about working at The Goddard School is the close-knit community and the meaningful relationships she has built with both her students and fellow teachers.

    Lead Get Set 2 Teacher
    Miss Addison is currently studying at Millersville University while caring for young learners at The Goddard School. She was adopted from China and has a strong passion for learning about and sharing different cultures with others. In her free time, Miss Addison enjoys painting and expressing her creativity through art. She loves inspiring children to explore, imagine, and celebrate what makes each of them unique.

    Lead Kindergarten Teacher
    Mrs. Kaitlin joins The Goddard School from Virginia. She earned both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Music Education, her undergraduate degree from Messiah University and her graduate degree from George Mason University. With over 10 years of experience as an elementary music teacher and two years as a kindergarten assistant, Mrs. Kaitlin brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the classroom. She strives to make a positive impact on each of her students, fostering a love of learning through play, exploration, and self-expression. Mrs. Kaitlin believes that children learn best when they are encouraged to explore their world, discover new ideas, and find joy in the learning process.

    Assistant Teacher
    Mr. Brandon is our assistant kindergarten teacher. He focuses on creativity and imaginative storytelling to help students stay engaged in learning. He believes that when students use their imagination, they connect more deeply to ideas and remain curious. Mr. Brandon strives to support both academic growth and emotional development by creating a positive classroom environment where students feel heard, supported, and encouraged to think independently. As an educator, he uses creativity and analogies to help explain complex ideas and is passionate about reading and writing. He is also a self-published author for young adults, and his goal is to inspire students to express themselves, stay curious, and see learning as an opportunity to grow.

    Miss Kara brings 10 years of childcare experience and a strong commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment for every child. She believes that learning through play is the most effective way for children to grow and develop, and she strives to make her classroom feel like a warm, welcoming second home. By incorporating each child’s interests into daily activities, she fosters engagement and a love of learning. Miss Kara is passionate about hands-on experiences and continuous learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her one-year-old cat.

    Miss Sam has ten years of experience in education and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Art. She believes every child should be given the tools, respect, and support needed to grow and succeed individually. Miss Sam values independence and creativity, using tools like posters and books to encourage children to express themselves. She enjoys art, especially drawing, and understands the importance of adapting to each classroom’s unique needs and perspectives.
  • Mrs Jasmine

    Assistant Teacher
    Miss Jasmine has seven years of experience in education, she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication with a minor in American Sign Language. She believes every child develops at their own pace and values supporting individual growth through curiosity and exploration. She incorporates baby sign language to strengthen communication and views feedback as a tool for continuous improvement. She prepares her classroom each evening to ensure a smooth, engaging environment. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting blankets and hats to donate to newborns. She is most inspired by the creativity her role allows.

    Miss Gillian has six years of childcare experience, including one year in a childcare center. She strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace. She believes in providing positive guidance and supporting both students and their families to encourage learning at home.
