Our Goddard School Teachers

Jasmine serves as Head of School & Managing Partner of The Goddard School of New Albany, leading the educational program, faculty development, and the daily operations that keep the school safe, organized, and running at a high standard. Since joining the Goddard community in 2022, Jasmine has brought over eight years of experience in Infant classrooms, early childhood education, and youth intervention, most recently as Director of Operations, where she built the administrative and staffing systems a strong school runs on. She leads with proactive, transparent communication that builds trust with families and keeps parents informed and supported at every stage. Jasmine holds a Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a parent of two children who attended a Goddard School, she understands firsthand the importance of consistency, safety, and a strong home-classroom partnership. She is committed to a culture where professionalism and nurturing care go hand in hand.

Kyle Arbaugh is the Owner of The Goddard Schools of New Albany, Grandview, Lewis Center, Westerville (Polaris), Upper Arlington and Blacklick. He leads the organization’s long-term vision, strategy, and operational innovation to ensure each school delivers an exceptional and forward-thinking early childhood experience. Kyle works closely with leadership teams to strengthen systems, elevate talent, invest in facilities, and continuously improve how the schools serve families. His focus is building an organization designed to deliver consistent excellence as it grows - schools that are not only high-performing today, but positioned for sustainable success in the years ahead. As a father of two young children who attend Goddard, Kyle is deeply committed to creating stable, modern, and community-centered campuses where families feel confident and children thrive. He believes strong schools strengthen neighborhoods and is committed to investing in the communities each campus serves.

Ruth Arbaugh is the Owner & Educational Leader of The Goddard Schools of New Albany, Grandview, Lewis Center, Westerville (Polaris), Upper Arlington and Blacklick. She oversees the educational program, school culture, and quality standards across all locations to ensure every classroom reflects the excellence families expect. Ruth works closely with each Head of School and teaching team to maintain strong curriculum execution, consistent classroom structure, and a positive, nurturing environment for children. She regularly evaluates classroom performance, curriculum implementation, and family experience to ensure consistency and continuous improvement. She is deeply committed to developing teachers, strengthening leadership within each building, and creating a culture where high expectations and genuine care go hand in hand. As a parent of two young children who attend Goddard, Ruth holds the schools to the same standards she expects for her own family.

Martina Cisneros is the VP of School Development for The Goddard Schools of New Albany, Upper Arlington, Grandview, Lewis Center, Westerville (Polaris) and Blacklick. She works across all campuses to support leadership teams, strengthen operations, and ensure each school consistently delivers a high-quality experience for children and families. Martina plays a key role in developing school leaders, supporting new initiatives, and guiding the successful launch and growth of future campuses. She partners closely with staff, families, and community stakeholders to maintain alignment, elevate standards, and foster strong relationships throughout the organization. Her focus is building sustainable systems and empowered leaders so every Goddard location operates with consistency, professionalism, and care.

Mr. Dan has been a beloved teacher with Goddard since May 2025. He has gained experience working in a variety of roles, from resource teacher to lead teacher, before being promoted to Assistant Director in Spring 2026. He currently holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology Education from SUNY University College at Buffalo. Throughout his career, he has worked with children and families of any age for over a decade in community outreach programs, public schools, and childcare centers. He believes the best way to teach is in a cooperative, hands-on setting to keep children engaged and working together. His goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where children are excited to learn, and be part of an incredible community.

Ms. Loren joined the Goddard family in May of 2026. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio Dominican University, and spent eight years teaching second grade before running her own daycare business for eight years from her home in Johnstown. With a combined total of over twenty years of experience in child-centered settings, she has developed a love of learning and a passion for instilling that into the children she encounters. Her goal is to use her classroom knowledge and experience to assist other educators within their classrooms. She also looks forward to using her love of children and her vast skillset to help the children grow and flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Ms. Loren is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Goddard family!

Ms. Kim has been a valued member of our Goddard family since 2013. She brings many years of experience in childcare to our team. She believes that every child is a unique individual with their own feelings and thoughts to share. According to Ms. Kim, the most important thing a teacher can do is encourage children to work positively with their peers. She lives in New Albany with her husband and two children. Ms. Kim's favorite children's book is Llama Llama Holiday Drama by Anna Dewdney.

Ms. Jennifer joined our team in August 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep passion for early childhood development. She believes that all children are growing and learning every day, and that even the smallest moments can be powerful teaching opportunities. Before joining us, Ms. Jennifer had been actively involved with the Girl Scouts of America since 2012. Ms. Jennifer's favorite children's book is Widget by Clare Turlay Newberry. "They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel."

Ms. Trisha brings over 20 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati, as well as associate degrees in Early Childhood Development and Business Administration. She is passionate about building strong, nurturing relationships and creating inclusive classroom environments that support children in every area of their development. Trisha chose to join the Goddard School because of our commitment to safe, supportive learning environments and meaningful partnerships with families—values she truly shares. She loves seeing children grow and reach new milestones and finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey. Outside the classroom, Ms. Trisha enjoys staying active with hiking, biking, yoga, and meditation. She and her husband love gardening and exploring art with their daughter. She is also a proud grandmother of two!

Ms. Karmella joined our team in August 2024. She hopes to build a space where children can grow and learn without being distracted by what's going on in their life and a place they can have one-on-one attention from adults. Ms. Karmella's favorite children's book is A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon. "Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself." - John Dewey

Ms. Mary is currently enrolled at Walden University, pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology. She chose to join The Goddard School because she wanted a “home outside of home” for herself and her son — a place where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn and grow. Mary was drawn to Goddard’s focus on growth and the overall well-being of both students and teachers. Her favorite part of working with children is watching their faces light up when they discover something new or their imaginations take flight in unexpected ways. She loves seeing their creativity and curiosity come alive each day. Mary’s goal as an educator is to help children know that they are strong, smart, creative, and brave — and that there are no limits to what they can achieve when they set their minds to it. At home, Mary and her husband, Zak, have a toddler son named Cove, along with a lively crew of pets: two dogs, one cat, and a turtle.

Ms. Totionna joined our Goddard family in 2026. She currently leads our Toddler 2 class. Ms. Totionna chose Goddard for the building atmosphere and work environment. The organization, support, and freedom to contribute to the learning process are some of her favorite aspects of our school. Ms. Totionna loves being part of her students learning journey and being able to shape their minds through her lesson plans full of engaging activities. Ms. Totionna plans to begin nursing school soon, and she loves reading, writing, various arts and crafts, as well as watching movies and tv. Our school is so lucky to have Ms. Totionna on our team and we can’t wait to see her students grow in her care!

Ms. Cat joined our team in October 2023. She has a quiet nature and enjoys spending much of her day focusing on small groups and individual children within the classroom. Ms. Cat sees how much the children care for one another and hopes to help students understand rules as well as guide them in making safe, kind choices. Ms. Cat's favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. "A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for others."

Ms. Ally joined our Goddard family in May of 2021. She brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love for helping children grow and learn every day. She believes that children are amazing, smart, and curious—and that they are always learning from what they see and hear. Ms. Ally strives to create an environment where each child feels safe, valued, and supported. She celebrates their successes and gently guides them when choices aren’t safe, believing that understanding and patience are the most important tools a teacher can have. One of Ms. Ally’s favorite parts of working at The Goddard School is watching babies reach new milestones and knowing she plays a small part in their journey.  Ms. Ally and her husband are both New Albany natives and graduates of New Albany High School. They live in the area with their two little girls. 

Ms. Arnie joined our school family in April 2022. She earned a bachelor of elementary education from Cebu Normal University in 2011 and has been working with infants in New Albany since 2016. Ms. Arnie believes that all children deserve love and appreciation and hopes to give her students a variety of activities that will help them grow and develop. She lives in the area with her husband and little girl. Ms. Annie joined our Goddard team in August 2021. She believes all children are born curious and have the desire to learn and grow in their curiosities. She hopes to help her students fulfill their learning goals in order to fulfill her own goals as a teacher. Ms. Annie 's favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. "The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery." - Mark Van Doren

Ms. Jillian joined our Goddard team in January 2023. She loves being part of The Goddard School because it feels like family and appreciates the school’s commitment to making meaningful changes that support both staff and families. She enjoys working with children because of the joy that comes from watching them learn, grow, and change over time. Building strong relationships with families and seeing children discover something new each day is what inspires her most. Jillian’s goal as an educator is for every child to leave her classroom knowing they are safe, loved, and seen. She believes that while children can learn anywhere, what truly matters is making them feel valued and cared for. She is patient, nurturing, and dedicated to protecting, loving, and supporting children while they are away from their families during the day. Her favorite children’s book is Charlotte’s Web.  “A good education can change anyone; a good teacher can change everything.”

Ms. Shaina has been a member of our Goddard family since 2009. She holds her Child Development Associate Credential from the Council for Professional Recognition with a Preschool Endorsement. Ms. Shaina is hands-on and believes a teacher should be on the floor with the children. She feels it is necessary to follow parents' guidelines for their children. Ms. Shaina's favorite children's book is Hiccupotamus by Aaron Zenz.

Ms. Lila has been dedicated to childcare since 2007. She believes that every child is special and needs to feel safe and loved. Ms. Lila finds joy in working with children and loves teaching in a creative, hands-on manner. We have been incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Lila as part of our team since 2012. Ms. Lila's favorite children's book is Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss.

Ms. Diana joined The Goddard School because of its strong commitment to early childhood education and its emphasis on developmentally appropriate practices. She appreciates how Goddard nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth in young learners. Passionate about working with children, Ms. Diana finds joy in helping them grow, build confidence, and discover the world around them. The highlight of her day is seeing their smiles and laughter. Her goal as an educator is for every child to leave her classroom feeling happy, comfortable, and supported—knowing they can always count on her. Outside the classroom, Ms. Diana enjoys baking, running, art, and photography. She is bilingual, happily married, and treasures time spent with her family. Her favorite children’s book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.

Ms. Marilyn joined the Goddard team in May 2025 and has worked as a resource and Preschool assistant teacher. She recently joined the New Albany teaching team and is excited to continue her love of working with and caring for children in all classrooms!

Ms. Marlyn joined our Goddard team in 2026. She holds a Masters degree in Education through Ashland University. She enjoys working with children because of the joy they bring her. Ms. Marlyn views every day as an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and instill a love of learning within them. Her goal as an educator is to have her students leave her room each day feeling safe, valued, and capable by fostering a positive environment within her classroom community.
