Our Goddard School Teachers

Jenny joined The Goddard School in Akron in August of 2022. She holds her CDA in ECE. She teaches in our preschool classroom with Ms Barb. Jenny has many years experience as a teacher, administrator and a mother of five.

Anmarie joined our team in February 2016. She teaches in our Infant 2 classroom. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Anmarie enjoys spending her time outside of school with her scout troop and her family.

Karis started with The Goddard School of Akron in April 2007. She has taught in the Preschool, Pre-K and Toddler classrooms and has been an administrator since 2009. She graduated from Ashland University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She continues her education with Ashland while keeping her State of Ohio teaching license valid. When not at school, Karis enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms. Barb has been working at The Goddard School since February 2011. She teaches our Preschool class with Ms. Jenny. Barb has a Child Development Associates Degree in Early Childhood & Preschool Education. She enjoys seeing children involved in activities and loves celebrating with them when they accomplish tasks and skills.

Megan started as the Toddler teacher at The Goddard School Akron in January 2023. She has many years in the early childhood teaching area including teaching at another Goddard School along with being a mom to four. She enjoys spending time with her family and anything Disney!

Sam joined The Goddard School Akron in October 2023. She teaches in the Preschool Prep classroom and is our before/after school bus driver. Her background is in Pharmacy, but has many years of motherly experience with her four kids. She looks forward to each day working with the students and help prepare them for their futures.

Ms Kiersten joined The Goddard School of Akron in September of 2023. She is a mom of one and has years of experience teaching children. She has the sweetest voice and calmest demeanor - the kids all love her!

Ms. Sarah is our Pre-K teacher. Sarah joined our teaching team in August 2013. Sarah has her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Akron and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Literature from Ashland University. Sarah enjoys spending time with her friends and family outside of school. You may see her smile in the office as she helps with the opening the school each morning.

Bex joined our teaching team in October 2024. They love working with the early toddler age because they learn something new each day. Outside of work Bex enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms. Regina joined our team in January 2021. She co-teaches in our Toddler classroom. Regina formerly took classes towards a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Akron. She has years of experience with infants and toddlers along with being a mom of two, almost three.

Brandi joined the Pre-K team in June of 2024. She enjoys seeing each of the Pre-K kids learn new things each day and watch their excitement for Kindergarten grow! Brandi enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter when not at school with us.

Sophia joined The Goddard School in Akron Infant class team in December 2023. She is a mom of one and loves to make connections with the kids.

Ms. Heidi began working at The Goddard School in January 2013. She is the co-teacher in our Infant 1 classroom. Heidi holds her certificate in Child Day Care Specialist from the U.S. Career Institute

Kaitlin joined our Toddler team in April 2021. She teaches in our Pre-Toddler classroom. She also helps out in all of the classrooms. Kaitlin graduated from Notre Dame College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Becky joined our teaching team in March 2014. She is co-teaching in our Infant 1 classroom. Becky graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Psychology, and Dance. She has years experience working with children of all ages.

Rachel joined our team in September 2018. She is co-teaching in the Get Set classroom. Rachel graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Child Development.

Ashleigh joined our teaching team in August 2025. She enjoys "floating" all over the school bringing smiles to all the kiddos!

Jamie joined the teaching team in January 2025. One of her favorite things about teaching is seeing the smiles and getting the hugs from her students each day. She loves to enrich their lives each day! She enjoys spending time with her family when she isn't at school.
