Before being promoted to this position, I taught the Pre-K classroom. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Furthermore, I have been working with children for over 10 years and love working with them and seeing their bright, beautiful smiles each and every day. I have been a part of early childhood education for the past 14 years with experience in not just teaching and directing but also in the development of science and early reading enrichment programs for young children that are geared towards building a strong foundation for future success. i am extremely passionate about working with young children and my goal is to provide a safe nurturing and loving environment in which children can explore their full potential through hands-on, interactive methods of learning, whilst building strong social relationships and connections. I have a background in business administration and have established a successful cultural organization where children can immerse themselves in different programs like performing arts, music, coding etc thus enhancing their education.

My name is Elizabeth Tierney, or Ms. Lizzie if you’d like! I’ve been working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 20 years and I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard team! I began my journey in ECE as a Pre-K teacher and moved up with my students to Kindergarten. From there I began to gain experience as a manager and over the years have led many centers to success! Some of my achievements include national accreditation through NAEYC at 5 separate centers, celebrated being a star-rated center twice while managing centers in Louisiana and Mississippi, and my biggest achievement has been watching all the children in my care grow and succeed! I graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English and over the years have completed numerous trainings, courses and certifications in the ECE field. I am currently working towards my Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certificate and I’m excited to share all I have learned with the team and families.

Hi, my name is Andraina Rios. I have my associates in science. I am currently pursuing a degree in K-6th grade bilingual education at Kean University. I started working with children in 2019. I have enjoyed watching each child learn and grow - physically, socially and emotionally. It is truly rewarding. In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and my two wonderful children. We love taking nature walks and exploring new parks as well as visiting museums and learning more about art and history.
