    Ms Alexis

    Owner
    Ms. Alexis has a long history with The Goddard School, having attended as a young child for after-school care and summer camp. She joined the team in 2013 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Humanities with a minor in Education from Rowan University. As Owner, her top priority is creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child in her care can grow, explore, and develop into a well-rounded individual. Ms. Alexis is also a proud parent, and her own son attends the school, giving her a personal perspective on the importance of a supportive and enriching early learning experience. She is passionate about fostering a school community where safety, learning, and inspiration go hand in hand for children, families, and staff alike.

    Ms Deanna

    Director
    Ms. Deanna joined The Goddard School in 2020 and brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education, holding both an Associate’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in History. With over 15 years of experience working with Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten children, she is passionate about creating individualized learning experiences that meet each child’s unique needs. Ms. Deanna believes that children learn best through play, music, hands-on exploration, and meaningful new experiences, all within a safe, loving, and supportive environment. As Director, she is committed to fostering a school community where children, families, and teachers feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow together.

    Ms Kristen

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Kristen joined The Goddard School in 2008 and holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Camden County College. With over 17 years of experience, she has grown into her current role as Assistant Director, where she supports both families and staff each day. In the front office, Ms. Kristen works closely with parents to ensure open communication, smooth daily operations, and a welcoming school environment. She also assists teachers by providing resources, guidance, and encouragement to help classrooms thrive. While she adores working directly with children and watching them master new skills, Ms. Kristen is equally passionate about supporting families and creating a nurturing school community where every child can succeed.

    Lead Get Set Teacher
    Ms. Jackie is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification with a focus on toddler development. She loves watching her students reach new milestones and takes pride in celebrating every step of their growth. In her classroom, Ms. Jackie enjoys incorporating engaging STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities that encourage hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration. She is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where toddlers feel supported, curious, and confident as they discover the world around them.

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Annie brings over 14 years of childcare experience and holds an Associate’s Degree in Education. She is passionate about guiding young learners and treasures the moment when a child’s eyes light up after mastering a new skill for the very first time. Ms. Annie loves nurturing children’s natural innocence, imagination, and curiosity about the world around them. Her goal is to create a supportive classroom where every child feels encouraged to explore, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

    Lead First Steps Teacher
    Ms. Danielle joined The Goddard School in 2017 and is currently pursuing a dual major in Early Childhood Education and Literacy Studies, along with a minor in Special Education at Rowan University. Teaching has always been her passion, and she loves creating a classroom where young children feel supported, curious, and excited to learn. In the First Steps classroom, Ms. Danielle enjoys incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities that spark creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration. She is dedicated to helping every child build a strong foundation for future learning while nurturing their individuality and love of discovery.

    Ms. Joy brings over seven years of experience in childcare and is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification to further strengthen her expertise in early childhood education. She loves watching her students learn, grow, and develop independence each day. Ms. Joy is passionate about creating engaging lessons that meet the unique needs of every child, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

    Ms. Kathy is the Assistant Teacher in our First Steps Classroom and brings over 10 years of experience in childcare. She has a natural gift for supporting young children and takes pride in creating a loving, safe environment where they can thrive. Her favorite part of teaching is helping children reach milestones and watching them grow each day. Ms. Kathy’s gentle, nurturing care ensures that every child feels secure, supported, and valued.

    Ms. Jaclyn joined The Goddard School in 2023 and brings a passion for working with children of all ages. One of her favorite parts of teaching is designing sensory activities that encourage children to explore, discover, and develop important skills through hands-on learning. Ms. Jaclyn believes that early childhood should be filled with curiosity, joy, and experiences that spark growth every day.

    Ms. Melissa is a dedicated Pre-K teacher with a Bachelor's Degree who loves helping children prepare for their transition to kindergarten. She focuses on guiding her students as they develop essential academic, social, and emotional skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. Using Goddard’s Wonder of Learning curriculum, Ms. Melissa helps children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning while celebrating their daily accomplishments and milestones.
