Our Goddard School Teachers

I am excited to be the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Burlington. I have a bachelor’s degree in Management Information System from Thomas Edison State College. As a mother of three, I believe that all families want a safe, healthy, nurturing environment with an educational focus for their children. My husband, Tushar graduated from NJIT with a master’s degree in Engineering. Although he enjoys being an engineer his father was a school principal and his mother was a teacher so Tushar grew up with a love for education and we are both so very proud to be able to carry on their love of teaching. We look forward to working with all the great families in the area and invite you to visit our school to learn more about our vision and the Goddard philosophy.

Mrs. Sam is our Center Director. She has a degree in Elementary Education. She has been working in early childhood education for 13 years now, where most of her time was spent in toddler and preschool classrooms. Mrs. Sam's goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for children to express themselves and leave with a smile on their face every day. When she is in the classroom, Mrs. Sam's favorite activities involve science and reading, she loves seeing the look on the children's faces while when they learn something new. She is so excited to be a part of the Goddard School of Burlington and is looking forward to making memories with the children and their families!

My name is Yolanda Matthews, I am excited to be your new Center Director. I have 2 kids 26 and 19, I also have 1 granddaughter, she’s 2 1/2. I enjoy working with children and their families in ways that I can help parents and help their child grow. I worked in childcare for 9 years, I started out in an in home childcare, Assistance Director, then Center Director. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Master’s in Psychology, minor in child & adolescent development. If you have any questions or concerns come to me I am easy going and eager to help

Mrs. Farrah has a Bachelors in Business Administration and an Associates in Liberal Science. She has been a part of the Goddard family for 8 years, where she has had experience in all ages! Mrs. Farrah began her time in the classrooms, and then moved into the office, providing support and assistance to the teachers and children. Mrs. Farrah loves working with children of all ages and watching them grow and hit their milestones. Seeing the children’s smiles and excitement brightens any days of hers!

Ms. Sherae is a warm-hearted and passionate caregiver with over 8 years of professional experience working with children and a lifetime of caring for them. Her love for babies and dedication to helping others shines through in everything she does. Whether on the clock or in her free time, Ms. Sherae finds true joy in nurturing little ones. She aspires to open her own daycare center one day and promises that with her, caring for your child feels more like fun than work.

Ms. J'Dynn is joining us with experience working at another Goddard School location. All of her experience is with infants, so she is excited to bring her knowledge into the classroom. Ms. J'Dynn enjoys sitting on the floor with the babies and giving them lots of snuggles. She believes that infants need attention and a loving environment to flourish!

Miss Dazheya is our Infant Room assistant teacher, she has been working with children since 2024 and loves watching them learn and grow. She enjoys making learning fun by making up songs and games to play with the children. She loves seeing even the youngest infants discover and learn new things.

Ms. Jamelle is joining the Goddard School of Burlington with 7 years of childcare experience. All 7 of those years were spent at another Goddard School location, where she gained a lot of knowledge and expertise working with toddlers. Ms. Jamelle's favorite activity to do in the classroom is circle time and reading stories. She believes this allows the children to show their knowledge on various topics, and learn new things!

Miss Alexis is our First Steps assistant teacher. She believes that children learn and grow best in an environment where their needs are met and they are shown patience and love. She loves watching the smiles on her student's faces each day and watching them grow smarter and more independent each day.

Miss Atiya is one of our Toddler Lead Teachers. With two years in the field and an Child Development Associate in Early Childhood from BCIT West Tech, she is passionate about fostering a safe learning environment for the children in her care. Miss Atiyah finds joy in reading to the children and bringing the stories to life.

Mrs. Debbie is one of our Frist Steps assistant teachers. She comes to us with a love for children and helping them learn and grow. She enjoys reading to the children and playing with them, learning about their interests and watching them discover who they are through play.

Mrs. Rashona is one of our Assistant Teachers. With 14+ years of experience in child care and an ABA in Child Behavioral Analysis, she is dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for the children in her care. Mrs. Rashona prides herself in teaching her students basic life skills that will carry on into their future classrooms.

Ms. Jeylene is one of our toddler assistant teachers. She has been working in childcare since 2023. She has experiences working with children ages from infants to Pre-K. Ms. Jeylene loves reading books with the children, watching them develop a love for reading that will last a lifetime.

Mrs. Kameal is a dedicated and passionate early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. Her goal is to instill a lifelong love of learning in young children and to create a warm, inclusive classrooms where play and curiosity lead the way. She is focused on building strong social and emotional skills, helping every child feel safe, confident and ready to grow.

Miss Jasmine is our preschool lead teacher. She comes to us with over 14 years working with children. Miss Jasmine enjoys teaching children early writing skills as well as letter recognition, Spanish and sign language. She believes that children learn best in a safe and nurturing environment.

Miss Garveyella is our Preschool assistant teacher. She has been working with young children since 2024. She believes that patience and understanding are what makes a great role model and teacher.

Ms. Cara has 6 years of experience in early childhood education, working with toddlers, preschoolers, and children of varying abilities. She recently earned her Child Development Associate Credential and is passionate about helping children grow and develop a love for learning.

Ms. Wildania is our Pre-K Lead Teacher. Miss Wildania graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Psychology and Spanish. Her main goal in the classroom is to build the confidence of each child by doing exploration activities. She loves to make sure that the children develop well especially with their social-emotional side.

Miss Melisa has a bachelors degree in art education from Dokuz Eylël University. She believes that young children learn best in a safe, calm and supportive environment. She loves watching children be creative and use their imaginations. Her goal is building trust with children, helping them grow socially, emotionally and academically.

Ms. Ruth is our Lead Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She has been teaching at our school for ten years. She has worked with children for well over 30 years. She obtained her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from William Paterson University. Ms. Ruth finds joy in watching the children's faces when they grasp what is being taught. Language Arts is her favorite subject to teach. She prides herself in being able to support the children with their beginning reading skills. Ms. Ruth loves reading! She wants the children to learn how to read so they can use it to discover our world. She constantly reminds the children in her care that books are our friends. We need to treat them nicely because they help us learn new things!

Ms. Amanda brings over 10 years of experience working with children from 3 months to Pre-K. As a proud mom and passionate educator, she loves creating a warm, playful, and creative classroom where little ones can thrive. She especially enjoys arts and crafts and is excited for a fun and memorable school year at The Goddard School!

Mrs. Melanie is our Pre-K support teacher. She enjoys watching children learn and grow each day and finds joy in helping them learn new skills. Mrs. Melanie loves taking the time to get to know each child and learn what their interests are. She is excited for this new journey as an early childhood educator

Ms. Angelina is our newest addition to the team! She has 2 beautiful little girls of her own and is passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment to all children in her care!

Ms. Moszenae comes to us with experience in the public school system as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher. She has been working in the field of education since 2023. She believes that all children have a purpose and should be given the love, support and education needed to grow to their full potential. Ms. Mos loves playing board games and card games with the children. She believes that the most important thing a teacher can do is love and protect their students.
