MaryBeth’s journey with the Goddard School began from an alternate position than she currently holds; it started with her being a parent, with her own two daughters attending. This experience evoked an urge for her to be a part of offering the same positive experience as she had, to the families in our community. At this time, Marybeth recognized the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment and purchased the Goddard School of Macomb in 2009. MaryBeth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Management and also served in United States Army for eight years. She uses her leadership skills, background in business and military experience to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the school. It is undoubtably evident that MaryBeth is proud to be associated with the wonderful programs that Goddard has to offer and is committed to providing the highest quality preschool.

Mrs. Nicole holds a CDA in Infant and Toddler Education and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been a part of the Goddard School of Macomb since 2017 and has gained experience in our young classrooms. It's evident that she has a deep passion for working with young children. Mrs. Nicole's nurturing and calm personality has had a positive impact on the children, allowing them the freedom to express their individuality on a daily basis.

Since joining The Goddard School of Macomb in February 2018, Mrs. Grace has demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. With nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education and having held various positions within the field, she possesses a profound understanding of child development and a genuine passion for her work. Mrs. Grace’s extensive knowledge of Goddard practices and her dedication to maintaining a high-quality program demonstrate her unwavering priority for delivering exceptional educational experiences.

Cheryl has worked at the Goddard School since September 2013. She is the office manager and has over a decade of experience with accounting, daycare and early childhood development. Cheryl understands the importance of customer services and makes it a point every day to make all parents and children feel welcome at our school. Staying strong after 9 years!

Ms. Charlean, an Assistant Toddler Teacher with two years of experience in early childhood education, brings a warm and nurturing approach to her role. Known for her kind demeanor, Ms. Charlean excels in creating an environment where young children feel free to express themselves and explore their creativity. Her background in tutoring complements her teaching style, allowing her to effectively support and inspire her students while fostering a love for learning in their formative years.

Ms. Niki began with the Goddard School of Macomb in 2020, and is currently an assistant in our Infant classroom. Niki is a very gentle, kind and soft-spoken personality, and it is very evident as you watch her tender approach to the children in her care, making Niki a great fit for the infants classroom. She can typically be found reading to her group of infants, encouraging social-emotional development and promoting verbal skills.

Ms. Adrianna has been with the Goddard School of Macomb for nearly seven years, where she has found her home as a Lead teacher in our Two's classroom. She can always be found with a smile on her face, as she is a very light-hearted individual. She has always been a knowledgeable, collaborative teacher, consistently communicating with her coworkers to create the best possible environment for the children in her care.

Ms. JC joined us last year and has quickly become a vibrant and integral part of our team, particularly enjoying her work in the older classrooms. She and Ms. Frida have formed a strong partnership, collaborating effectively to enrich the learning experience. Known for her bubbly and outgoing personality, Ms. JC is also committed to her professional growth, currently pursuing additional education in the preschool age group to further enhance her expertise and impact.

Ms. Mya is an assistant teacher in the Twos classroom, where she has seamlessly integrated into the team alongside Ms. Adrianna. Known for her attentiveness and nurturing nature, Ms. Mya excels in building strong, individualized relationships with each two-year-old student. Her quiet demeanor complements her effective approach to teaching, allowing her to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Ms. Mya’s dedication and ability to connect with each child contribute significantly to the classroom's positive atmosphere.

Ms. Anna had been working in childcare for 5 years, starting as a summer camp counselor then working as a substitute teacher, finally working her way up to Lead GSRP One teacher here at the Goddard School. She is currently studying early elementary education at Wayne State University. She has always had a passion for teaching the younger kids, "I love seeing how much they grow throughout the year" she says. You can almost always hear music from Ms. Annas classroom. She loves teaching her students new songs and dances. She believes all children deserve a quality education and adapts her lessons to fit the needs of her students. Ms. Anna's kind heart and patience make her an amazing teacher.

Ms. Abbey has been a dedicated member of our team since 2020. Throughout her time with us, she has gained valuable experience working with children ranging from 6 months to 4 years old. Known for her kindness and compassion, Ms. Abbey excels at building close relationships with the children in her care. Her commitment to understanding each child on a deeper level allows her to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Ms. Alyssa is the lead teacher in the GSRP Two classroom at The Goddard School, where she has quickly become an invaluable member of the team. Currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at Central Michigan University, Ms. Alyssa brings both enthusiasm and expertise to her role. Her nurturing and understanding approach has endeared her to both students and colleagues alike. From the moment she joined, Ms. Alyssa demonstrated her exceptional teaching abilities by diving right into her responsibilities, effortlessly guiding each child that crossed her path and making learning a joyful experience. Her natural talent for teaching and dedication to early childhood development make her an outstanding asset to our school community.

Ms. DeaJanae has been a valued member of our preschool team for the past year, serving as an assistant teacher with dedication and grace. Known for her quiet and reserved demeanor, Ms. DeaJanae brings a calm and thoughtful presence to the classroom. Her ability to work harmoniously with Ms. JC has significantly contributed to the supportive and nurturing environment we strive to create for our young learners. With a gentle touch and a keen understanding of early childhood education, Ms. DeaJanae plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and enriching experience for every child.
