Our Goddard School Teachers

Heidi is the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Clarkston, which she and her husband Dave opened in 2023. As parents, they understand how important a safe, nurturing environment is for children. Heidi believes children learn at different paces and in different ways, and her focus on individualized, experience-based learning shapes the school. She is involved throughout the school day, supporting teachers and welcoming families.

Ms. Michelle is the Director of Education at The Goddard School of Clarkston. She holds a master’s degree in Education with a focus on Adult Education and Training, a bachelor’s degree and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She leads the school’s educational program and supports teachers across classrooms, helping each child receive thoughtful, individualized learning.

Ms. Tessa is the Assistant Director of Education and holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with The Goddard School of Clarkston since it opened in 2023. She works alongside teachers and families to create a welcoming school where children feel comfortable, connected and ready to learn.ation background and familiarity with the school to her leadership role.

Ms. Katie is a Lead Teacher in the Great Start Readiness Program. She holds an associate’s degree in General Studies and has completed coursework in early childhood development. Her classroom combines hands-on learning with individual attention, helping children build confidence, independence and skills for kindergarten.

Ms. Heather is a Lead Infant Teacher with training in infant care. She learns each baby’s cues and rhythms, providing attentive, individualized care and helping families feel confident in their child’s care.

Ms. Alexandria is a Lead Teacher in the Great Start Readiness Program and holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She guides hands-on learning experiences that help children build early academic and social skills as they prepare for kindergarten.

Ms. Sharon is a Lead Infant Teacher who holds a Child Development Associate credential in Infant-Toddler care. She provides attentive care built around each baby’s feeding, sleeping and play routines, with safe, sensory-rich opportunities to move and explore.

Ms. Rachel is a Lead Teacher in the Great Start Readiness Program who holds a bachelor’s degree in Youth Studies. She guides hands-on classroom experiences that give children room to follow their curiosity and try things for themselves, building independence and skills for kindergarten.

Ms. Marie is a Lead Toddler Teacher who holds a Child Development Associate credential in Infant-Toddler care. She provides a safe, encouraging place where toddlers discover new ways to move, communicate and explore through fun, hands-on learning.

Ms. Adryanna is a Lead Twos Teacher who guides two-year-olds through playful, hands-on discovery as they build language, motor skills and the confidence that comes from trying new things.

Ms. Avery is a Lead Toddler Teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. She gives toddlers a safe place to move, explore and learn through hands-on play. Children have opportunities to try new things and build the confidence that comes with doing more for themselves.

Ms. Mackenzie is a Lead Infant Teacher who holds a Child Development Associate credential in Infant-Toddler care. She provides responsive care and safe, sensory-rich opportunities for babies to reach, roll and explore as they discover the world around them.

Ms. Arin is a Lead Preschool Teacher who has completed coursework in early childhood development. She guides hands-on learning experiences that encourage preschoolers to ask questions, explore ideas and solve problems. Children have opportunities to discover their interests and learn alongside friends as they build confidence and independence.

Ms. Holly is a Lead Infant Teacher who holds a Child Development Associate credential in Infant-Toddler care. She responds to each baby’s cues with attentive, individualized care, creating a nurturing place where infants feel comfortable and have safe, sensory-rich opportunities to move and explore.

Ms. Marilyn is a Teaching Assistant in the Young Toddler classroom and has been with The Goddard School of Clarkston since its opening in 2023. Her familiar, consistent presence helps toddlers feel secure as they explore their surroundings and try new things. She supports children through the everyday routines that help them feel comfortable at school.

Ms. Taylor is a Teaching Assistant in the Older Toddler classroom. She helps keep daily routines consistent and offers encouragement as children practice doing more for themselves. Her hands-on support gives toddlers help when they need it and opportunities to build confidence in new skills.

Ms. Jaclyn is a Lead Infant Teacher who holds a Child Development Associate credential in Infant-Toddler care. She provides gentle, responsive care that helps babies feel secure, with individual attention to each child’s comfort and well-being.

Ms. Abigail is a Lead Preschool Teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She guides hands-on experiences that help children explore ideas and learn alongside one another. Preschoolers build early academic and social skills through opportunities to participate, make discoveries and try things for themselves.

Ms. Tricia is a Lead Young Toddler Teacher who has completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Development. She supports children’s learning through play, with hands-on opportunities to explore, try new things and practice the everyday skills that build independence.

Ms. Marissa is a Lead Teacher in the Older Toddler classroom and has been with The Goddard School of Clarkston since 2024. She provides a familiar, caring presence as children become more independent, with hands-on learning experiences that encourage them to explore, play and try things for themselves.

Ms. Haleigh is a Teaching Assistant in the Infant classroom. She helps with daily routines and attentive, individualized care, supporting a safe and nurturing day for babies. Her classroom support gives infants care and encouragement as they move, explore and discover their surroundings.
