Our Goddard School Teachers

Hello and welcome! My name is Leena Patel, and I’m so proud to be one of the new owners of The Goddard School of Locust Point. My journey with The Goddard School began in 2013 when I opened my first location in York, PA, followed by a second in Philadelphia. It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I’m thrilled to now be part of the Locust Point community. I graduated with a Biology degree from Lebanon Valley College. As a mother of three and a proud parent of a Goddard School alum, I wholeheartedly believe in The Goddard School’s philosophy of providing exceptional care and a strong educational foundation in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. My passion is helping children grow into joyful, confident, and respectful learners who are prepared for lifelong success—in school and beyond. I’m excited to embark on this journey with your family and can’t wait to welcome you into our school community!

My name is Kinnari Patel. I am passionate about early education and bring a unique background that includes a degree in Computer Science and over 15 years of management experience in the banking industry. As a proud parent of a Goddard alum, I truly value the school’s emphasis on safety, structure, and nurturing the whole child. Supporting children's emotional, social, and academic development is at the heart of my dedication. I’m excited to be one of the new owners and to lead operations at the school each day.

My name is Jenna Burton and I am the Executive Director here at The Goddard School of Locust Point and The Goddard School of Canton! I have been with The Goddard School since 2018, starting as a toddler teacher and then transitioning into an Assistant Director position at our Canton location. I currently hold my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education, along with my 90-hour preschool, 45-hour infant/toddler, and 45-hour director’s certifications. I am so excited to continue my journey at Locust Point and create relationships with the children and families. One of my top priorities for our school is creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children to thrive and grow!

My name is Erica Coleman and I am the Director of Operations here at The Goddard School of Locust Point! I have been with The Goddard School since 2020, starting as a preschool teacher and then stepping into an Assistant Director position at our Canton location. I am currently enrolled to receive my Child Development Associate certification, and I currently hold my 90-hour preschool,45-hour infant/toddler, and 45-hour director’s certifications. I am looking forward to furthering my experiences as the Director of Operations and creating the best classroom environment for the children!
