I love owning The Goddard School. I enjoy the light atmosphere the children constantly bring to the school. I have an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelors and Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. I own The Goddard School franchise because I value our high quality early childhood education program. As a working mom I understand the importance of feeling comfortable with the school your children attend. My goal is to provide a safe, loving atmosphere where your child will flourish because of the well rounded education and nurturing environment.

Ms. Heather has worked in the education field for over 20 years and enjoys putting her experience with children to work as part of the management team at Goddard. Ms. Heather joined the Goddard team in 2006. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Waubonsee Community College, Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Northern Illinois University, Director and Early Childhood Education Credentials from Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Professional Development System and Director Credential from North Carolina Central University. Ms. Heather is also a Gateways to Opportunity Registry Trainer. Ms. Heather loves getting to know every family and to helping each child build a strong foundation which will support them as they grow and develop to their fullest potential.

TODDLER TEACHER - Ms. Danny has her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kendall College. Ms. Danny has achieved her Level 2 Director Credential, Infant Toddler Credential Level 5 and Early Childhood Education Credential Level 5 issued by the Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Professional Development System. Ms. Danny has over 20 years of experience working with toddlers and is also our Assistant Director. Ms. Danny joined the Goddard team in 2006.

INFANT TEACHER - Ms. Vanessa has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from College of DuPage. Ms. Vanessa has earned her Infant Toddler Credential Level 4 and Early Childhood Education Credential Level 4 issued by the Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Professional Development System. She has been working with children for over 10 years and adores the infants. Ms. Vanessa joined the Goddard team in 2011.

INFANT TEACHER- Ms. Diana has been working with children for over 8 years. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Dominican University and Masters Degree in Child & Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Ms. Diana joined the Goddard team in 2016.

INFANT/TODDLER ASSISTANT TEACHER- Ms. Kristen helps teach and care for the infants and toddlers. She has 3 years experience working with children. Ms. Kristen joined the Goddard team in 2021.

Infant/Pretoddler Lead Teacher - Mrs. Melissa earned her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University and her masters Degree from DeVry University along with completing additional early childhood education classes at Waubonsee Community College. She has been working with children for over 7 years in both early childhood centers and as a nanny. Mrs. Melissa joined the Goddard Family in 2022.

Assistant Toddler Teacher - Mrs. Sarah has been working with children for over 4 years. She believes it is important to nurture children and help them develop their gifts. Mrs. Sarah joined the Goddard Team in 2022.

TODDLER TEACHER - Ms. Darreishia is a Lead Teacher in the Ducklings classroom. She has been teaching for over 9 years and worked with all ages. Ms. Darreishia has earned her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Lincoln College. Ms. Darreishia joined the Goddard team in 2020.

TWO YEAR OLD TEACHER - Ms. Melissa has her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University and Director and Early Childhood Education Credentials issued by the Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Professional Development System. She has over 14 years experience working with young children in Early Childhood. Ms. Melissa joined the Goddard team in 2012.

Two Year Old Lead Teacher - Ms. Jayla earned her Associates Degree from Elgin Community College and is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Northern Illinois University. Ms. Jayla's goal in the classroom is meet each child's individual needs in order to provide an environment for each child to thrive. Ms. Jayla has over 2 years of experience working with children and joined the Goddard Team in 2022.

PRESCHOOL TEACHER - Ms. Savannah is completing her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Elgin Community College. She has 3 years experience teaching preschool at her church. Ms. Savannah joined the Goddard team in 2021.

PRESCHOOL TEACHER - Ms. Janette (the kids call her Ms. Jan) has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Waubonsee Community College and her Early Childhood Education Credential Level 4 issued by the Gateways to Opportunity Illinois Professional Development System. She has over 20 years experience in day care and Early Childhood Education Ms. Jan has been a Goddard team member since 2011.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN TEACHER - Ms. Annemarie attended Queensboro College in New York where she worked on her teaching degree. She has been working with children for over 20 years and earned her Child Development Associates. Ms. Annemarie joined the Goddard team in 2005.

PREKINDERGARTEN TEACHER - Mrs. Anita earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kishwaukee College. She has been working with young children for over 15 years. Mrs. Anita believes it is important to provide a positive environment for them to blossom and support the development of positive decision making skills. Mrs. Anita joined the Goddard Team in 2022.

SCHOOL AGE TEACHER - Ms. Nahla earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the Islamic University of Gaza. She has been working with children for over 8 years. Ms. Nahla joined The Goddard team in 2021.

Ms. Argie walks in with a smile each day excited to see the children. Ms. Argie is currently pursuing her Associates Degree from Elgin Community College. She joined our Goddard Team in 2023.

Ms. Sophia loves working with young children. You will see her helping in many of our classrooms either on the floor with the toddlers or playing a game with the preschoolers. Ms. Sophia joined our Goddard Team in 2023.

Ms. Kelsi is often helping in one of our Prekindergarten classrooms, but is always willing to help in any classroom. She has been working with children for many years and has been excited to move into a formal school setting. Ms. Kelsi joined our Goddard Team in 2023.

Ms. Joy has been working with children for over 10 years and enjoys helping in all of our classrooms. She graduated from the English Nanny and Governess School and has completed many early childhood education classes at College of DuPage. Ms. Joy joined our Goddard Team in 2022.

Assistant Teacher - Ms. Layla has been working with children for over five years and primarily helps in our PreKindergarten classroom in the afternoons. The children enjoy interacting with Ms. Layla with their afternoon activities. Ms. Layla joined the Goddard team in 2022.
