Our Goddard School Teachers

I am grateful to be a part of The Goddard School family! My husband, Ronak, our daughter, Mila, and our son, Liam, live in Atlanta. We love the city’s energy but were drawn to Peachtree City’s family-focused community for our children to grow and thrive. For over a decade, helping children develop a love for learning has been my passion. I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education (B.A.), Educational Administration and Policy (M.Ed.), and Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from the University of Georgia. My career began in 2008 with Gwinnett County Public Schools, and I most recently taught kindergarten at Woodward Academy. I believe it takes a village to raise a child—just ask Mila and Liam! Our family, friends, and community play a vital role in their growth. I’m honored to be part of the village that will guide your child’s learning journey. At The Goddard School, collaboration among staff, parents, and the community creates a supportive environment where everyone can succeed.

What an honor and joy it is to be a part of the Goddard School, Peachtree City administration! I was born and raised right here in PTC and currently live in Newnan with my husband, Brian, son, Bauer and a little one on the way due in early December. I received a Bachelor of Science from Point University, formally Atlanta Christian College. My background includes more than 18 years’ experience in various roles of childcare settings to include Director, Minister, and teacher. I also taught and coached dance/cheer for many years. My passion is helping kids seek their full potential through exploration and play. Nothing is better than a child discovering that learning can be fun! I look forward to partnering with the families and staff to journey with the kids of Goddard School, PTC as we empower them to strive for their best and be fueled by fun through learning!

My name is Liz Martin, and I’m originally from Boston, MA. My love for teaching started back during my college days at the University of Massachusetts, where I worked at a music school while also serving as the president of the Greater Lowell Music Teacher’s Association. I was actively involved with the Music Teacher’s National Association too, which kept things busy (but exciting!). After graduating, life led me down to Georgia, where I spent a couple of years subbing for Fayette County Schools and teaching Pre-K in a lottery program. From there, I explored different teaching roles, spending a few years in a Montessori setting before moving on to The Goddard School in Tyrone. While there, I was the Pre-K teacher and also pursued my graduate degree in education. Eventually, I took a break to focus on my family and helped my husband open a mattress and furniture store in Fayetteville, GA. But as much as I enjoyed that adventure, I missed being in a school environment.

It is a true privilege to be part of the Goddard School in Peachtree City administration team, especially as a lifelong resident of this community. I have an amazing husband Stuart, and two children thriving at Kedron Elementary, both children are Goddard alumni. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University and over 20 years of experience in various childcare roles, I am dedicated to fostering children’s personal growth through exploration and creativity. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I am excited to collaborate with families and staff to create a fun and empowering environment for our children at Goddard School, PTC.
