    Welcome! Since November 2005, Tom has been the proud On-Site Owner of The Goddard School® in Alpharetta and Debbie recently joined him with 8 years of Goddard Owner experience. Together, they bring a unique set of skills and experience to their role as owners. Tom held executive roles in operations and business development while Debbie's degree is in Communications. As parents themselves, they understand the importance of quality child care in the early stages of child development. They have a great team of tenured educators who offer a play-based curriculum along with hands on activities forming a life-long love of learning. Debbie and Tom are actively involved in the classrooms and day-to-day operations of the School. They are proud of the warm and welcoming school community they have created and are committed to provide the highest quality care to all the children. They look forward to meeting your family!

    Debbie has lived in the Atlanta area since 2001. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, she taught elementary school for 17 years. Debbie has been a Director with The Goddard School since 2010. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. She has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies are music, indoor gardening, boating and spending time with family. Her genuine passion for children is evidenced by her strong commitment to the health, safety, and education of each child that attends The Goddard School.

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Allissia was born and raised in Champaign, IL and moved to Atlanta in 2011. She received her TCC in 2024, and is currently pursuing a degree in Program Management of Early Childhood Education, set to complete in 2025. She has 14 years of childcare experience with three of those years as a director. Her passion for children stems from believing that impacting the world starts with nurturing young minds. Growing up, she assisted her grandmother at her daycare and formed bonds with foster children she cared for, inspiring her to follow in her grandmothers footsteps! She believes building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues is so important while creating a strong foundation to ensure every student receives the best education and support they need to navigate through the learning process. Ms. Allissia is engaged to be married in 2025, blending her family to six kids. She has 3 beautiful children that are happily part of the Goddard Family.

    Lead Teacher and Curriculum Coordinator
    Ms. Vicki has her TCC in Early Childhood Education and has been with The Goddard School since 2013. Ms. Vicki provides a creative and safe learning environment for her students to enjoy and explore educational possibilities. Ms. Vicki loves anything to do with arts and crafts or Disney. She enjoys spending time with her nephew, niece and family in her free time as well as singing and dancing.

    Ms. Ericka has been working with children in an educational setting since 2001 and began her career with The Goddard School in 2012. She is currently pursuing a Child Development Associates credential. Ms. Ericka believes all children learn best when they develop self-confidence, trust and creativity. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her sons and grandmother.

    Ms. Madeline has been working with children in an educational setting since 1968. She has an Associates degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a Bachelor of Science of Education from Kent State University. She has been with The Goddard School since 2010. Ms. Madeline believes all children learn best in a positive and loving environment. Ms. Madeline has a son she enjoys spending time with. In her spare time, she loves to garden and trade items on Ebay.

    Ms Deileen "Ms. Day" has worked with children in both private and classroom settings since 2018. She is finishing up her Bachelors of Psychology and will graduate spring of 2024. She is a Registered Behavioral Therapist teaching autistic children for two years. She believes all children should feel loved and safe at all times. Ms. Day has two sons ages 2 and 3 that she loves spending time with and sharing adventures together. She loves anything Disney, music, Starbucks and going to Target!

    Ms. Lillian joins us all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada where she attended the University of Nevada receiving a Bachelors in English and Film. She joined the Goddard family in 2022 and has mentored children in the Las Vegas community. Ms. Lillian thinks children deserve the best and is excited to help build confidence and teach kindness.

    Ms. Sneha is originally born and raised in Australia. She has worked in a childcare educational setting since 2016 and has been a Goddard teacher since 2020. Ms. Sneha has her Child Development Associates, and is currently our Lead Preschool 1 teacher. She loves spending time with her family, and spoiling her nephew!

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Wendy has been working with children in an educational setting since 2003 and has been a part of the Goddard family since 2015. She has her Childhood Development Associate credential. Ms. Wendy loves nurturing our babies and watching them learn and grow. Ms. Wendy is from New Orleans. While in New Orleans, she worked at St. Philips Episcopal Preschool in the infant classroom. She also did morning and aftercare at Believers Life Christian Academy where her children attended. Ms. Wendy is a proud grandmother to a baby girl!

    MaKayla

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. MaKayla has been working with children since 2015 and teaching in a preschool setting since 2018. She is currently working on her Child Development Associate credential. She loves life and goes with the flow in good days and bad! Ms. MaKayla loves being a mom to her four year old daughter Abri who attends school at Goddard. In her free time she makes wellness herbal teas instead of taking medicine and enjoys cooking!

    Ms. Mojgan has been working with infants and young toddlers since 2005. Ten of those years were with a Goddard School. She loves to watch children achieve their milestones and inspires children to be themselves. She is originally from Iran but has lived in Georgia since 2004. She is loving life with her amazing grandson. In her spare time she loves to dance and sing.

    Ms. Rena has been working in a childcare setting since 2003 as a teacher, nanny or volunteer. She is currently working on her Child Development Associate Credential. She volunteers her time as a mentor to middle school girls on the weekend. Ms. Rena always has a positive outlook on life and comes to work with a smile on her face and happiness in her heart! She has three daughters that she enjoys spending time with. In her free time she enjoys cooking!

    Ms. Con-Sonja or as we call her Ms. Sonnie has been working with children all of her life and in a school setting since 2021. Her passion for children started early on when she used to babysit and volunteer in a local church. She loves working with all age groups but her specialty are infants and toddlers. She is know as the "baby whisperer!" Ms. Sonnie is originally from Champaign, IL and has been a Georgia resident since 2014. Her children and grand children are a big part of her life. During her free time she loves spending time with her family and getting her "ME" time which consists of coffee and outside relaxation. She loves coming to work to see the smiles and receive the countless hugs! It's the best part of her day!

    Ms. Sudi has worked with children of all ages since 2013. She has her Masters in Sociology and Bachelors in Psychology. She's a Registered Behavioral Technician and has her CDA. She is a firm believer of the philosophy of "Hakuna Matata" - embracing life with a positive outlook and resilience. Ms. Sudi was born and raised in India! She is blessed with two wonderful children. She is passionate about nature and the animal kingdom. She is an advocate for mental health-awareness and supports utilizing knowledge from her psychology background!

    Ms. Amy has been teaching young minds since 2020 in a childcare setting. She believes all children are capable of more than we give them credit for. It's important to embrace a learning environment that allows them to feel comfortable and safe to express themselves and explore their full potential. Ms. Amy is originally from Portland, Oregon. Her passions include journaling, gardening, hiking and traveling to visit waterfalls. Amy is the eldest among seven siblings in her expansive family.

    Ms. Jill has been involved with children as a nanny and in summer camp settings since 2019. She has a special affinity for 4 and 5-year-olds, as she finds joy in their self-discovery and interactions with each other. Ms. Jill appreciates the unique qualities of each child and enjoys getting to know their individual personalities. Coming from a family of three siblings, Ms. Jill is a fraternal twin. She loves outdoor activities like hiking and cherishes spending time with her friends and family members.

    Ms. Leslie has been working with children since 2020. She enjoys being with children and taking care of them. Ever since she was young she loved being around babies and toddlers. She believes all children should be able to express themselves in a comfortable and safe environment. In her spare time, she loves art. She would love to go to college in Japan. Her dream job is to be a Manga artist - Japanese comic book artist.

    Ms. Margot has been working with children since 2016. She is in her third year of her Bachelors in Elementary Education at Georgia Gwinnett College. Her education goal is to promote confidence and engage curiosity. She believes children are explorers so it's important they learn thru play with hands on activities. Ms. Margot enjoys hiking, her dogs and anything to do with art.

    Ms. Sanaii has been working with children since 2022 and is currently attending Georgia State University majoring in Nursing. Her plan is to be a Nurse in the NICU. She believes all children are special in their own way and loves being able to work with them in a childcare setting. Ms. Sanaii is originally from New York and moved to Atlanta in 2019.
