Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Priya is excited to bring the nation’s leader in play-based education to the Sanford, Lake Mary, Heathrow community. She is a CPA and MBA who has extensive Accounting and Finance experience at Fortune 500 companies. Mrs. Priya and her husband Raj live in Lake Mary and have 3 children who are in middle and high school. Her daughters attended The Goddard School before they moved to Florida. She saw how they bloomed under the care of nurturing teachers, who encouraged and challenged them to learn life skills and become well rounded individuals who love learning. She was unable to find a similar educational environment in Lake Mary which motivated her to open The Goddard School. She wants all children to have a quality preschool environment where they can develop into joyful, confident learners who are successful and have a lifelong love of learning. Mrs. April is ecstatic to join The Goddard School Community. She has been in early childhood education for over 20 years and holds a Director’s Credential and an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Working with children and inspiring and coaching teachers has always been her passion. Mrs. April wants to share her experience and knowledge with her fellow educators. Her goal for all children is to ensure that they be given the opportunity to gain the skills and education they need for a successful start in life. Mrs. April and her husband live in Deltona and have four children. As a family they enjoy going to the beach, watching football and just being together. She loves the Fall and all types of nachos. She is dedicated to making every moment a teachable one.

Mrs. Samantha is so excited to join The Goddard School community. She has been in the education field for 20 years. She holds a Directors Credential and Registered Behavior Therapist license. She is an enthusiastic and caring educator that believes all children can learn in an environment that is stimulating and comforting. She loves to teach through play and exploration of the environment. Her goal, for all children, is to have a safe and nurturing environment to foster a passion for learning in all ages. She believes what a child knows is as important as who they become! Mrs. Samantha and her husband live in Winter Park and have two daughters. As a family they enjoy Taekwondo, going on trips, and love the outdoors. When she is not with her family, she enjoys gardening and horse riding. She loves the Fall and everything pumpkin! She is very passionate about teaching early childhood and loves to teach them as much as they teach her.

With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Jamie brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to her role as Office Assistant. She is eager to connect with families and foster a welcoming atmosphere within the school community. Ms. Jamie finds great joy in witnessing the excitement on children’s faces as they discover and learn new things, and she is dedicated to supporting the educational journey of every child. Her commitment to nurturing relationships and creating a positive environment makes her an invaluable part of the team.

Mrs. Alyaa holds a Child Development Associate’s degree and a Bachelor of Administration degree in Finance, bringing over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to her classroom. She began her teaching journey as a substitute teacher in her daughter’s VPK classroom, where she discovered her passion for nurturing young minds. Mrs. Alyaa is inspired by the fun personalities of little children and cherishes their loving and sweet comments. Her dedication to creating a positive and engaging learning environment truly makes a difference in the lives of her students.

Ms. Briana has over 6 years of experience in early childhood education and holds her National Child Development Associates degree (CDA). She is passionate about teaching and finds great joy in helping children achieve their developmental milestones. Ms. Briana believes that early learning serves as the foundation for a child’s future, and being a part of that journey is truly rewarding for her.

Ms. Cynthia has been in Early Childhood Education for 20 years. She has her Child Development Associate (CDA) and her Directors Credential. Ms. Cynthia started working with children when she was in high school. She loves seeing the growth in children and what they have accomplished during a school year.

With over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, Mrs. Faten brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her classroom. Holding a bachelor's degree and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, she is dedicated to nurturing and educating young minds. Her favorite age group is infants, as she finds joy in introducing them to the wonders of the world around them. Mrs. Faten believes that the early years are foundational for lifelong learning, and she is committed to creating a warm, engaging, and supportive environment for her little learners.

Mrs. Katie has about 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and has her Associates degree and her Staff Credential. Children make her heart happy and gives her joy. She wants to make a difference in young lives. She loves to see children advance and their happiness when they learn a new skill.

Mrs. Leslie has over 8 years of experience in early childhood education. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Education and her Florida Staff Credential. Mrs. Leslie believes in providing her students with a variety of exciting and enriching experiences to keep them engaged and learning.

Mrs. Aparajita has her Bachelor’s degree in Education and has been working in Early Childhood Education for about 10 years. Mrs. Aparajita loves seeing the joy in children’s faces when they learn something new.

Mrs. Swathi believes that every child is unique and takes pride in nurturing their individual strengths and interests. She has a genuine happiness in being around children and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere where young learners feel safe and encouraged to explore. Mrs. Swathi has her Master’s degree in business.
