The Goddard School located in Land O’ Lakes, FL is looking for a motivated self-starter for an Assistant Director’s position at our school. An associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. A candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children.

Assisting the director with the preschool operations including human resources, quality assurance, and facility operations.
Developing strong relationships with our families
Knowledge of the employee handbook
Knowledge of the Family handbook and enrollment agreement
Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Description of Job Tasks:
~Overall responsibilities for supporting the directors and owners, and assisting with overseeing all aspects of the center to include HR, health and safety.
~Provide tours with potential families including the Goddard Philosophy
~Maintain strong relationships with our families, faculty, and vendors.
~Cultivate and maintain a safe and enjoyable culture while working in a fast-paced environment.
~Ability to perform all essential functions for each position in the center, including, but not limited to, other leadership team positions, teacher, assistant teacher.

Qualifications:
Must have experience in a preschool environment
Must have 45 DCF hours
Must be able to complete criminal history background checks and child abuse registry
