  • Ms Mawara

    Ms Mawara

    Onsite Owner
    Ms. Mawara is a pharmacist by training. She has her administrative credentials and her director credentials. She is also a certified CPR, First Aid and AED instructor along with being a trainer for Abusive Head Trauma and SIDS Prevention. She and her husband are raising two children of their own, both of them graduated from Goddard pre-K program. As a parent, she knows the importance of quality child care in the early stages of development of a child. Ms. Mawara wanted to bring a high quality education-based early childhood program to the community where the children can learn while having fun. In 2016, she and her husband opened the first Goddard School in Dane County in Verona. In a short period of time, the school became one of the most prestigious preschools in the community. She is very proud to bring Goddard to Sun Prairie where a great team of educators offer a play-based curriculum along with hands-on learning for the future academic success and a life-long love for learning.

    Ms. Kelly joined Goddard in January 2022 and has held various roles, including teaching and administration. Currently, she serves as Director. Growing up with her mother's daycare, Ms. Kelly developed a love for working with children early on. Her professional journey began in customer relations and management, and she later owned her own business and contributed to the launch of several small businesses. Ms. Kelly has a passion for guiding and teaching staff and is skilled at building strong relationships. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and two cats. As part of Goddard's leadership team, Ms. Kelly is excited to collaborate and create an unforgettable experience for every family and ensure high-quality care at the school. Her dedication to the children's growth and well-being, along with fostering a positive environment, are central to her role at Goddard.

    Ms. Jenn brings to our preschool a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, during which she has devoted herself to the care and well-being of children across various age groups. Her commitment to education is evident through her attainment of an Infant/Toddler Credential in Early Childhood Education from the esteemed University of Platteville. With a profound passion for fostering a nurturing and secure environment, Ms. Jenn takes pride in creating a space where your child can thrive. Her approach seamlessly blends the art of teaching with tender care, ensuring that each child not only enjoys their time but also experiences significant growth and development. Rest assured, our littlest friends will be in capable and compassionate hands under Ms. Jenn's guidance.

    Ms. Brooklyn, an experienced childcare provider, is currently pursuing her education at Madison Technical College to become a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant. With over 6 years of dedicated experience caring for children aged 6 weeks to 14 years, Brooklyn brings a wealth of expertise to our preschool. Her greatest asset lies in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where children from all backgrounds feel welcomed and valued. She firmly believes that embracing diversity enhances the overall growth and development of each child, instilling a strong sense of community and understanding. During her free time, she enjoys indulging in captivating Netflix series and cherishing moments spent with her little cousins, whom she treasures as if they were her own children. This profound sense of familial connection extends to her approach in childcare, where she provides each child with love, respect, and individualized attention. We are thrilled to have her on our team!

    Ms. Taylor is a highly qualified and dedicated educator, having graduated from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Her commitment to excellence is evident through her DPI certification as a teacher in both regular and special education for children birth to 3rd grade. With a commendable tenure of 6 years in the field of education, she has enriched the lives of numerous students. She spent 3 years teaching 4K in Sun Prairie and actively contributed to before and after school programs at the YMCA in the same community. Ms. Taylor is deeply passionate about fostering a play-based approach to learning, recognizing its immense value in stimulating young minds. As an educator, Ms. Taylor aspires to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for her students, drawing on her understanding and compassionate approach. We are privileged to have Ms. Taylor as part of our team, enriching the lives of our young learners with her expertise and devotion!

Being the eldest of 10 siblings, Ms. Jermeka's affinity for children blossomed while actively caring for her brothers and sisters. Passionate about nurturing the inherent potential of young minds, Ms. Jermeka firmly believes in guiding their learning journey through play. Her unwavering dedication extends to fostering children's emotional and physical well-being, making her a valuable addition to the Goddard School in Sun Prairie. Her passion for nurturing young minds has led her to teach children ranging from six weeks to twelve years old, with a special affinity for working with the little ones. Originally from Lake Mills, Wisconsin, Ms. Ariana has been residing in Madison for the past two years. During her leisure time, she indulges in playing video games, baking, crocheting, and hiking. In her role at our school, Ms. Ariana eagerly anticipates building strong and meaningful relationships with every child in her classroom, along with fostering a warm connection with their families. She is sincerely grateful for the opportunity to care for your child and is excitedly looking forward to meeting them. While she is adept at working with various age groups, her true passion lies with the little ones. Commencing her journey in childcare immediately after high school, Ms. Kaitlyn has diligently pursued her professional growth. She holds assistant and lead certifications from the state of Wisconsin. In her leisure time, she enjoys immersing herself in reading and writing, snowboarding, and cherishing quality moments with her family and friends. Her commitment to forming strong and meaningful connections with both her students and their families sets her apart. The one year olds at Goddard will undoubtedly benefit from her caring guidance and genuine enthusiasm for their growth and development.

    Ms. Christa brings extensive experience in childcare, starting during her time in the Navy, where she cared for fellow service members' children. Now a mother of three with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, she is passionate about nurturing young hearts and minds. Ms. Christa fosters a growth mindset, encouraging children to embrace mistakes as opportunities for learning and to persevere through challenges. Her love for reading has turned her own children into avid bookworms. With her down-to-earth and fun-loving approach, Ms. Christa creates a nurturing environment for children of all ages as they explore the world around them. Certified with a CDA in childcare and pursuing a BA in Mass Communications, she prioritizes continuous growth. The joy of encountering former students and witnessing their growth is a highlight of Ms. Danielle's teaching journey. As someone from a family of teachers, she brings a special dedication to her role in nurturing foundational skills. Her artsy and fun-loving nature aligns perfectly with the learning through play approach, making education an engaging experience. Having previously excelled as a lead teacher at a Goddard School, she eagerly joins the Goddard Family in Sun Prairie. Choosing a career in childcare was a natural fit for Ms. Jen, as she finds the company of children and witnessing their exploration of the world utterly captivating. This deep passion fuels her unwavering love for teaching and education. Joining the Goddard School in Sun Prairie was a deliberate choice for Ms. Jen.     Ms. Julia is a seasoned childcare professional with a diverse background. Armed with an associate degree in General Business and extensive coursework in early childhood education, she has accumulated over five years of experience in childcare across private, public, and federally funded school systems. During her college years, Ms. Julia focused on business studies, but her heart was set on a career in childcare. After graduating with her business degree, she gained valuable experience in Human Resources while never losing sight of her passion for nurturing young minds. Driven by her unwavering passion, Ms. Julia decided to transition back to her true calling as a Lead Teacher at a private school and later in the 3-year-old classroom at CAP Services, eventually finding her way to The Goddard School. Ms. Julia's commitment to her profession is evident through her Child Development Associate credential. With enthusiasm, she joins us, eager to share her expertise and love for teaching.

    Ms. Kait, a Madison, WI native, has been an educator since 2014. Her love for teaching blossomed during her time as a girl scout when she enjoyed assisting younger troops with projects and activities to earn badges. These early experiences ignited her passion for education. Devoted to teaching young children, Ms. Kait holds a deep belief in the significance of early childhood education. For her, being an educator means making a positive impact on the world. Her greatest joy comes from witnessing a child, who once struggled with a skill, experience that "light bulb" moment when everything clicks into place. Ms. Kait's dedication and enthusiasm create a nurturing and rewarding learning environment for her students.

    Ms. Zoe has been in the early childcare field since 2017. She has worked with all ages and finds it fascinating to see the growth in such tiny minds. She is a mother and spends most of her free time with her son. Ms. Zoe has a great understanding of just how much energy reciprocates in the classroom where her students learn and have fun! Ms. Zoe works great with all ages, but always finds herself back with the toddlers. She took a small break from childcare after maternity leave to work with the elders and found herself right back with children! In her free time, you will likely catch Ms. Zoe gardening, hiking, and usually at Target with a coffee! She is caring and patient with littles. Her favorite saying is “Every flower blooms at a different pace” in which she loves to see children bloom in all of their own different and creative ways!

From an early age, Ms. Erin's passion for teaching was evident, and her unwavering desire to work with children became a driving force in her life. Teaching early childhood holds a special place in Ms. Erin's heart, as she finds it incredibly fulfilling. While pursuing her full-time studies for a career in Cardiovascular Sonography, Ms. Calsey remains dedicated to guiding young minds. Her favorite children's book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss, reflects her belief in the boundless potential of every child.     Ms. Ula is originally from Poland. She has worked in woodworking and carpentry, successfully completing technical school in the field. Her passion for craftsmanship remains evident as she continues to enjoy woodworking as a hobby. Having been a mother, Ms. Ula's journey took an inspiring turn, discovering her profound passion for nurturing children. Now, as she transitions her career to childcare, she brings a wealth of experience and a genuine love for nurturing young minds. In addition to her role as a teacher, Ms. Ula's diverse talents extended to the kitchen, as she embraced her role as a chef at our preschool soon after joining our team. We are delighted to have her as an integral part of our team, where her dedication to both teaching and culinary excellence enriches the experience of our young learners.

    Ms. Aubrie is a dedicated mother of three boys and resides in De Forest, WI. She is armed with an associate degree in early childhood education from Madison College, and her teaching journey spans 16 years in all age groups, initially starting as a babysitter at 21. When she is not working, she is often busy coaching her sons basketball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, and football. She cherishes crafting friendship bracelets during their family video game sessions and indulges in outdoor adventures like hiking and basketball. Ms. Aubrie likes to foster creativity and independence in her students through her engaging preschool lessons. She loves to conduct science and art projects in her classroom and allows children to be children and express who they are. Ms. Aubrie is excited to meet all the students at Goddard and make life-long connections with them.

    Ms. Kaitylyn grew up in Muskego, WI. She spent her formative years with her two sisters. She is married and has a son who is a constant source of joy for her. In 2015, she earned her bachelor’s in Elementary and Special Education from UW-Madison. Early on, she engaged with after-school and summer programs, evolving into roles at a college childcare center and dedicating eight years to teaching Elementary Special Education, guiding those aged 5-11 with varying abilities. In her leisure hours, Ms. Kaitlyn immerses herself in reading, painting, and quality family time, often revolving around delectable meals. As a teacher, Ms. Kaitlyn’s excitement is palpable as she witnesses students encountering the wonders of learning, nurturing their exploration, and upholding the delight in education. She treasures the connections she forges with both students and families throughout her teaching journey.

    Ms. Brandi embarked on her childcare career in 2019 as a Float Teacher. After a brief break, she is returning to the childcare field with renewed enthusiasm, eager to continue her journey in early childhood development. From the young age of 12, she discovered her passion for childcare through babysitting her younger cousins. Growing up in a blended family with four siblings, she has always been drawn to nurturing and caring for young minds, igniting her desire to help children learn and grow into their full potential. During her leisure time, she delights in spending quality moments with family and friends, engaging in video games, dancing, and savoring dining experiences. As Ms. Brandi joins our nurturing environment, she brings her expertise and love for childcare, creating a warm and supportive space for young children to thrive. She has lead teacher qualifications through State of Wisconsin. She is dedicated to her professional growth and has plans to enroll at UW Madison to earn her bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Beyond her dedication to teaching, Ms. Hailey finds joy in expressing her creativity through music. In her spare time, she enjoys writing music, singing, and embracing the challenge of learning to play new instruments. We are delighted to have Ms. Hailey as part of our team, where her enthusiasm, dedication, and love for children create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment as she fosters their growth and development with passion and expertise.

    Ms. Talisa's journey in childcare began with the opening of Goddard School in January 2021, marking the start of her enriching career with us. Prior to joining Goddard, she dedicated 6 years as a caregiver, compassionately serving the elderly and disabled. With a versatile background, she served as a resource teacher across various classrooms before recently transitioning into her role as an assistant teacher in the infant room. Beyond her dedication to childcare, she is an accomplished photographer and embraces various forms of art with enthusiasm. We are proud to have Ms. Talisa as a valued member of our team, where she continues to bring her wealth of experience and commitment to the well-being of our little ones. Her dedication to learning and fostering creativity ensures that your child will be in nurturing and skilled hands, making their time at Goddard School a truly enriching experience.

    Ms. Breanne embarked on her journey in childcare during middle school, where she began volunteering at a daycare. Over time, this rewarding experience transformed into a job during early high school, and she continued her involvement even while pursuing her college education through virtual learning. Initially enrolled in a Nursing degree program at UW-Milwaukee, she has now chosen to transfer to Herzing University to fulfill her passion for Pediatrics. Outside of her academic pursuits, she finds joy in attending concerts and festivals, as well as spending quality time with her cherished friends and family. Joining the Goddard School marks an exciting new chapter for Ms. Breanne. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to gain invaluable experiences, and expand her perspectives. Her genuine enthusiasm lies in guiding the children under her care toward promising futures and witnessing their development.
