    As the Executive Director at The Goddard School of Bothell, I bring 10 years of experience in the Early Childhood field, where I have advocated for providing all children with high-quality, developmentally appropriate education. My passion for children drives me to create environments that support lifelong learning and growth. I believe in Goddard’s philosophy, which aligns with my values as an educator, ensuring every child thrives in a safe, nurturing, and educational setting guided by qualified professionals. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Family Development from the University of Washington. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, exploring new restaurants, and cooking. I’m always excited to try new recipes! I am committed to helping all children grow and develop into unique individuals who are equipped to face the world with education, skills, and kindness. I look forward to supporting their journeys and making a positive impact on their lives.

    Hi, I’m Jo! I’m currently enrolled at the University of Washington, studying Early Care & Education, and I serve as an active board member with the Washington Association for the Education of Young Children (WAEYC). With over 10 years of experience in the field, I’m passionate about advocacy and working to ensure that state and federal policies align with the needs of educators, children, and families. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with my family, exploring hiking trails, or relaxing with my dog. I’m also a big fan of cars and always enjoy losing myself in a good book.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum Development and Leadership which is a testament to my commitment to shaping the formative years of young minds. This diverse background allows me to infuse creativity and curiosity into our educational programs, providing a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere. I chose The Goddard School because of its unwavering commitment to high standards and unbeatable quality of care for our growing young ones. Our mission is to provide an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the wonders of the world.
