I have over six years of experience in Early Childhood Education and hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Early Childhood Education, as well as a Child Development Associate Degree from Seattle University. Fueled by a strong passion for education, I bring a wide range of experience in both classroom teaching and curriculum development. My background includes working extensively with young children and in leadership roles, always with a focus on creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences tailored to each child's developmental needs. As Director, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. Hi, I’m Jo! I'm the Regional Director here at the Goddard Schools and I currently serve as an active board member with the Washington affiliate for NAEYC (WAEYC). With over 10 years of experience in the field, I’m passionate about advocacy and working to ensure that state and federal policies align with the needs of educators, children, and families. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with my family, exploring hiking trails, or relaxing with my dog. I’m also a big fan of cars and always enjoy losing myself in a good book.
