    Head of School
    My name is Dr. Tamkeen and I am the on-site owner of the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vanderbilt University, a Master's in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas, and a Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt University in Leadership and Learning. I am a certified school principal, middle school science, and high school science teacher. I have been a professional science educator, artist, singer, and school administrator in both public and private school systems. I am the proud mother of four young girls (and 3 rescue dogs). I am passionate about early childhood learning and development and am a strong supporter of various charitable causes in the local community. My husband and I opened this center in August 2014 and are proud of the many accomplishments of the children and faculty members in the past 8 years.

    My name is Ms. Stephanie and I have been married for over twenty years. I have 3 boys, 22, 20 and 18. I was born and raised in California. I have a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Childhood Education. I am certified to teach Early Childhood- Elementary-aged children. I have worked with kids in and out of a classroom setting for over 20 years. Every child is special and learns in their own way and deserves to learn and grow as independent individuals. I enjoy teaching younger children because they LOVE to learn and are EXCITED about the little things in life! I have been with the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms since it opened in August 2014 as a Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten.     I am Ms. La'Nekka. I am the second youngest of five children and come from a big family. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and plan to continue my studies in graduate school with a focus on Child Psychology. I have been working with children for the past 15 years as a teacher and nanny. Working with children is my passion and I find great joy in the happiness they bring into my life as well as being able to bring happiness, growth, and development into their lives. I have been with the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms from the first few months of the school opening in the Infants and Toddlers program. I have loved to see so many young children growing up while I have been at the school. I have been with the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms since it opened in 2014.

    My name is Ms. Esperanza and I was born in Zacatecas, Mexico. I come from a big family, am married and have no children of my own. I have obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biopharmaceutical Chemistry. I worked at a hospital in the Clinical laboratory for 19 years. More recently I have completed my Child Development Associates after years of working with young children. Since my first day working with children more than six years ago, I have gained a strong passion for them. They are the ones who teach me something new every day; they encourage me to strive and continue on my path as an educator. In the same way that I used to help doctors establish a diagnosis to cure and save lives in my previous career, I now feel I am able to help children live happy, healthy, and successful lives. I am happy to be at my new home the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms.

I am married with a daughter who attends The Goddard School with me. I love working with children because I find it rewarding to help shape young minds, witness their growth and development, and contribute positively to their future.

    My name is Musavera (Sonia). I am married with 3 children. I have an Associate degree in Business. I love working with kids, they are so much fun. The stories they tell, the faces they make, and the laughter really make my day. I love those moments when children show love and affection in different ways. It brings me joy when I see them growing and developing into confident, self-sufficient learners.

    My name is Ms. Sama and I am married with 4 grown children who are 25, 22, 22 and 16 years old. I have a Bachelors and have taught for 5 years and have worked in preschools since 2014. I love working with kids as they are pure and honest and their imaginations have no limits.

    My name is Ms. Marisol Rizo, and I am a mother of 2 children, 15 & 11 years old. I am from California, lived in Mexico for a couple of years and then moved here to Houston. My career in early childhood education started in Early Headstart where I volunteered to be Vice-chair for the parent committee. After that, I started working with children as a preschool teacher. I have taken multiple classes in childhood development and strive to continue on this path. I incorporate the Spanish language and American Sign Language in the classroom. My proudest achievement in the classroom has been helping speech-delayed children communicate through ASL. I am excited to be here at the Goddard School at Long Meadow Farms.

    Hi, I'm Mr. Matthew. My mom is a physical therapist and my dad is an engineer. I spent my time grading papers as a teacher assistant while working on my master's. I worked at a daycare called the P.A.R.C. for two summers while in my undergrad and enjoyed working with the range of kids there. Organizing events and helping get them through each learning experience was very rewarding.

    My name is Ms. Nighat. I have a lovely family of two boys and a girl. I am blessed to be a grandmother. I love to read, travel, explore, and become familiar with different cultures from around the world. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and am certified in Professional Studies in Education with Bradford University (UK). I have worked with children for over 30 years and have taught students at various levels. I have also served as a school administrator for multiple schools. I am extremely passionate about teaching. The times that I spend with children are the best moments of my life because I learn so much from them. I believe each child is unique and precious. Their sweet smile is an inspiration for me and I look forward to meeting them the next day to share and experience their innocence, happiness & delight. I am team-oriented and proud to be part of this talented group of individuals. I have been with the Goddard School Long Meadow Farms since it opened in 2014.

    Hi, my name is Abree. I am 17 years old and entering my senior year in high school. I am the second youngest out of six. I love spending my time with my siblings. I have lived in the area for almost my whole life. I enjoy spending time with my niece who attends The Goddard School. She has shown me the joys of being an aunt. I love working with children because I enjoy seeing each and every one of them grow, and it makes me happy to be a part of their growth and journey.

    Hi, my name is Lesli. I am 17 years old and entering my Senior year of high school. I am the oldest of four and as the oldest sister I have always taken care of my siblings. My mom also takes care of a little girl and I like to help out babysitting her when I can. I love working with children because they are very fun and interesting to be around. They are very innocent and all they look forward to is having fun and learning everything around them. They grow really quickly so it's nice to enjoy them at their young age. They say anything they have in mind which I like. Overall children are very funny and good to be around with.

I graduated from high school in 2022 and am now trying to achieve my Associate. Growing up I had lots of experience with children as I was always surrounded by children and watched both of my brothers. I enjoy being around kids for their fun-spirited ways and the endless opportunities we bring to each other.

    My name is Jaysen. I'm 36 years old, I was born and raised in Southeast Texas. I went to school in Vidor and Beaumont and graduated from college here in Houston with a degree in Fashion as well as a Bachelor's in Theater. I worked full-time in performance arts for just over 10 years. While I still do that part-time I have since decided to pursue a new career path in Early Childhood Education here at The Goddard School. For the last 7 years have been a single dad of 5. I spend my days and evenings doing what I love, taking care of kids. It brings me so much joy to be able to make a difference not only in my own children's lives but other's too. I believe it's crucial to teach children the basics at an early age so when they start elementary school they are already a step or two ahead of the rest. I'm currently working on my CDA which will allow me to provide high-quality childcare to young children and demonstrate all of the knowledge and skills to teach younger children
