    At The Goddard School of Pflugerville, we believe children flourish in a community that truly cares about their growth. Our owner, Mr. Neel, lives that belief every day. With a background in finance and international business, he brings strong leadership, strategic insight, and a passion for building meaningful connections. As the father of a spirited 5-year-old daughter, Mr. Neel understands the importance of providing children with a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where they can learn and thrive. His experience as a parent fuels his commitment to ensuring every child at our school is cared for with the same dedication he gives his own. Mr. Neel’s vision is simple yet powerful: to create a community where children feel loved, parents feel confident, and teachers feel empowered. He is dedicated to making The Goddard School of Pflugerville a place families are proud to call home.
  • Dr Sherrie A.

    Dr Sherrie A.

    Director
    Ms. Sherrie has been part of our team as the Director since March 2025. She brings extensive experience as a Preschool Director and Private Elementary School Principal, with a deep passion for Early Childhood Education. Ms. Sherrie studied for her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Early Childhood Education at Concordia University. As an active member of NAEYC and other professional organizations, she is committed to leadership, advocacy, and excellence in education. Outside of work, Ms. Sherrie enjoys teaching Sunday school, reading, writing, cooking, horseback riding, and spending time with family, friends, and her two Weimaraners, Xander and Rohan.

    Aparna

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Aparna brings a unique combination of technical expertise and a passion for education to our team. With a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas, Austin, and four years of experience as a Software Engineer, she ensures smooth operations while supporting students and staff in the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys reading, solving puzzles and watching Netflix.

    Office Assistant
    Ms. Adriana has been a part of The Goddard School team since January 2023. She started as an Assistant Teacher in our Infants program before transitioning to her current role as Office Assistant. She loves her dog, Molly, and enjoys relaxing by watching Netflix. Ms. Adriana is passionate about the learning experience and values the opportunity to support both students and staff in the school’s daily operations.

    Lead Teacher (Infants)
    Ms. Yvette has been a dedicated educator at The Goddard School since August 2010, bringing multi-decade experience and passion to her teaching career. A proud graduate of Shallowater High School, she earned her CDA certificate from Austin Community College. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cheering on her daughter during soccer games and expressing her creativity through crafting and making gift baskets.

    Melva

    Lead Teacher (Infants)
    Ms. Melva brings more than a decade of experience in childcare, along with a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She graduated from the Southwest College Institute for the Deaf with a teaching certificate and obtained her CDA in 2015. Ms. Melva uses ASL to communicate and enjoys attending training courses in person. In her free time, she loves going to the gym, socializing with friends and family, babysitting, and traveling.

    Lead Teacher (Toddlers)
    Ms. Stacey has been a valued member of team since December 2022. She holds an Associate of Arts and Applied Science degree from Western Texas College. She also has the CDA certification for the Infants/Toddlers age group. In her free time, she enjoys reading about history and current events. A fun fact about her is that she had once spent six weeks in the Republic of Congo on a mission trip focused on community development.

    Ms. Kris joined the Goddard family community in 2023, bringing more than a decade of experience working with children. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Family & Child Development from Texas State. In her free time, Ms. Kris enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

    Lead Teacher (Toddlers/Two's)
    Ms. Lilia has been an integral part of our team since January 2021, bringing dedication, compassion, and a nurturing spirit to everything she does. She holds an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from Austin Community College. Known for her warm personality and unwavering positivity, Ms. Lilia has a gift for creating a joyful and inclusive environment where every child feels valued. She enjoys watching Christmas movies year-round, spending quality time with her family, and carving out moments for herself. Her passion for her work and her kind-hearted nature make her a treasured part of our community.

    Lead Teacher (TWO'S)
    We are delighted to have Ms. Rashmi as part of our teaching team. Since January 2024, she has been working in early childhood education, bringing with her a deep passion for nurturing young minds. Prior to joining the field, Ms. Rashmi dedicated her time as a full-time mom, during which she actively studied and researched child development—further fueling her long-standing love for working with little ones. Ms. Rashmi holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Pune, India, and has over four years of professional experience as an architect. Her creativity shines through in the classroom, where she enjoys engaging children in art, craft, and imaginative play.

    Lead Teacher (Bridge)
    Ms. Suzana has been part of our team of educators since September 2022. With a teaching career that began in 2000, Suzana has worked with children in Brazil, Florida, California, and now Texas. She holds a teaching degree from Brazil, covering infants to elementary school age, and an Early Childhood Education degree from Cañada College in California. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, exploring new places, and savoring good food.

    Lead Teacher (Preschool)
    Ms. Natalie has been working in early childhood education for the past year and brings a strong academic background with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to her passion for working with children, she is currently involved in research at a UT lab that studies children's imaginations—an area that aligns beautifully with our focus on fostering creativity and curiosity in young learners. In her free time, Ms. Natalie enjoys knitting and bringing creativity into the classroom. We’re thrilled to have her as part of our school family!

    Shirin

    Lead Teacher (Pre-K)
    Also known as Ms. T, Ms. Shirin joined our team of educators in March 2022. She has been a devoted teacher for over a decade and brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the classroom. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting before moving to the U.S. from Iran with her family 28 years ago. Teaching has always been her passion, driven by her love for spending time with children and the joy of watching them learn and grow. Outside of school, Ms. T enjoys the challenges of Sudoku puzzles and is an avid puzzle solver.

    Assistant Teacher (Infants/Toddlers)
    Ms. Janay is excited to begin her first year at The Goddard School! A Houston native and Stratford High School graduate, she brings a fresh perspective from her background in HR and her favorite role—being a mom to her 12-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son. Known as the “Certified Cool Mom,” she’s always surrounded by kids and truly enjoys it! In her free time, she loves reading on her Kindle and watching reality TV with her husband.

    Assistant Teacher (Bridge)
    Ms. Sheela holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Karnataka, India. She has two years of experience tutoring high school students in Math and previously worked as a Software Developer at Exilant Technologies for four years, bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the classroom. In her free time, Ms. Sheela enjoys hiking, crafting, and cooking, which inspire her to bring creativity and hands-on learning to her work with children.

    Assistant Teacher (Pre-K)
    Ms. Trinity, with a High School diploma and two years of college education, is embarking on her first year at The Goddard School after a rewarding career change. Her decision to become a teacher was inspired by the joy she felt while babysitting her nieces and nephews, which fueled her passion for working with children. Outside the classroom, Ms. Trinity indulges in her love for arts and crafts and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. A fun fact about her is that she’s read almost every novel series that has been adapted into movies to date. Her enthusiasm for teaching, combined with her diverse interests, brings a unique and creative flair to her role at The Goddard School.

    Ms. Bhargavi brings over 3 years of valuable experience in childcare and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from India. Her passion for her work extends beyond the classroom; she delights in gardening, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her kids. When she’s not engaging with children in the classroom, you’ll likely find her in the kitchen, meticulously organizing snacks for each classroom and preparing lunches for delivery after the caterers have finished their drop-off. Her attention to detail and dedication to creating a well-organized and welcoming environment highlight her commitment to the children’s well-being and daily needs.

    We’re excited to welcome back Ms. Erin to our Goddard family! With two years of prior experience at our school, Ms. Erin brings a joyful and curious spirit to the classroom. She is currently continuing her education at Austin Community College (ACC), further strengthening her commitment to early childhood development. Ms. Erin has a natural passion for the outdoors and enjoys sharing her love of nature with the children. Whether it’s talking about bugs, dinosaurs, or other fascinating creatures, she brings learning to life in fun and engaging ways. In her free time, you’ll find her hiking, camping, and exploring the world around her. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication make her a valued part of our teaching team.

    FLEX Teacher
    Ms. Rhya brings over 10 years of teaching experience to her role, including a rich background in teaching Spanish. She particularly enjoys being a flex teacher, as it enables her to build meaningful connections with children of various ages and engage with them in diverse and impactful ways. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Rhya has a passion for cooking and enjoys watching movies during the day. She takes immense pleasure in witnessing the growth and learning of children at The Goddard School. Ms. Rhya is dedicated to continually enhancing her skills to support her students' development.

    Meha Kanubhai

    FLEX Teacher
    Ms. Meha has over 6 years of experience working with children and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from MSU University in India. She brings creativity and care into the classroom, making learning fun and engaging. Outside of school, Ms. Meha enjoys gardening, cooking, and traveling. Her favorite part of the day is talking to her family, which keeps her grounded and inspired.
