My journey with Goddard started about 10 years ago in Colorado when my oldest attended a Goddard School while I attended nursing school. We fell in love with the academic and enrichment programs, and were disappointed when we relocated to Texas and found it difficult to find a school that matched the quality program we had at Goddard. After years of working in nursing, I eventually decided to shift my career focus into Early Childhood as a school nurse and quickly knew this was where my heart belonged. After giving birth to my 4th child, I decided it was time to bring my dreams to reality and bring a Goddard School to my community of New Braunfels. Hello, my name is Kamelah and I am extremely excited to be a part of Goddard New Braunfels. My family, and I relocated to Texas from Northern California . I absolutely enjoy spending all of my free time with my family on weekend adventures, traveling or decorating my home. I am a proud mother of two daughters in college, and a wife of 23 years. Because I have a profound love for helping others learn and grow. I have always been very passionate about being a part of a Team that encourages learning & educating children during a time of incredible growth in a nurturing environment. Becoming an empty nester made me realize just how precious early childhood years are because they each go by so quickly. Welcome Goddard families and friends! My name is Marty Leonard, and I am the Director of Education at The Goddard School of New Braunfels. I hold a master’s degree in education and specialize in curriculum design and implementation, assessment, teaching strategies, and our teacher’s professional development training. I am also a Professor at Texas State University and teach in the Teacher Education Program. I have been in higher education for over 12 years, but I have a strong passion for Early Childhood. I am teacher certified K-12 in Physical Education and Health, so movement and an active lifestyle is important to me. The curriculum implemented at The Goddard School is top notch, and we take pride in our enrichment programs as well. I have two boys who attend The Goddard School, and this school feels like home to us. I look forward to growing with you and your family.

I have been an early childhood educator for the previous 8 years, I have always enjoyed being around children and supporting their development. I have an associates degree in education and currently obtaining my bachelors in the same field. I just had a baby boy in April, who joined his two older siblings and two crazy pups! I love all things involving being outdoors and being active! In my free time I will most likely be hiking, running, tubing, kayaking, camping, reading, or just hanging out with my family!

My name is Nile-Naki , I am 25 years old, and I am from Baltimore, MD. I have worked in the field of childcare for 9 years and I have 7 years’ experience working in licensed early childcare facilities. I am a recent graduate of Post University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in child studies. I enjoy learning, being an advocate for young children, and creating memories with my family. I've been in the professional childcare setting since 2005. I'm multilingual and I've worked with ages up to 3 years old. I love seeing the children everyday, and the most enjoyable part of the day is seeing them smile and being well taken care of under my supervision. I really enjoy engaging the children, doing such things as singing, dancing, artwork, circle-time, stories, and just being silly and responsible with them. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids. I grew up in the Philippines and raised my kids there, I came to Texas to pursue all of our dreams.

Hi I'm Ms. Crystal I moved here about a year ago from California. I was able to work with 12-18mo children at a Nature School and absolutely love it. I have also worked with the older preschoolers and love singing songs with them. I have a 13yr old daughter and a 9yr old son. We love animals of all types even reptiles. I am so happy to be a part of The Goddard School.

Hello my name is Erika! I am a Mother of 3, and a wife of 13 years. We moved to New Braunfels five years ago and immediately fell in love. I have worked with children my whole life it seems like, professionally I have worked for in childcare 10+ years. I know very few children will remember their Preschool Teacher but they will remember how to write their names, count and how to use their words! Hi my name is Taylor! I was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA where my passion for helping children started when I became an aunt at the wonderful age of 13. I later moved to Jacksonville FL in 2012 where I graduated high school. During my stay there I started in my career of supporting young minds for the past 6 years. Most of that time was spent at a Goddard School located in Jax where I found my love for early childhood education. I just moved to San Antonio in August 2023 with my fiancé, dog, two cats, and three snakes! I am very thankful to have the opportunity to still remain at a Goddard School here because of their values and how much they focus on children’s development, education, and safety. Hello! My name is Miranda, and I am so excited to be joining the team of wonderful staff here at Goddard! I have worked in childcare with children of various age groups, backgrounds, and settings for over 10 years now. I grew up here in Texas out in Spring Branch, but spent middle school, high school, and college in Alburquerque New Mexico. While in New Mexico I graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with associate degrees in liberal arts, applied science and Western Civilization. I then moved back home to Texas and earned my bachelor's degree in English with a minor in History at Texas State University in December of 2019. Through my own educational journey, I have continued to work with children because I find that there is nothing more rewarding than being someone who a child looks up to in order to help them get wind beneath their growing wings so that we can stand back and proudly watch them fly.

From a young age, I have always loved working with kids. In high school I babysat almost every weekend which then led me to becoming a nanny and to early childhood education. I love what I do and watching the kids learn and grow.
