Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Swati is the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Georgetown - Williams Drive. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. As a mother, she understands how much a child’s first school experience matters. Her belief in high-quality, play-based learning led her to choose The Goddard School, where children learn through fun, engaging activities. She is committed to a school community where children can explore, grow and discover the joy of learning.

Ms. Nadya is the Office Assistant and joined The Goddard School in 2021. She has always enjoyed caring for children and brings a warm, welcoming presence to the front office. She especially enjoys watching children learn and discover new things.

Ms. Mayra is the Education Director with six years of experience across early childhood classrooms and leadership roles. Having worked with children of different ages, she helps teachers create engaging environments where children feel safe, loved and ready to learn. A mother of three, she builds strong relationships with families so classroom support stays connected to each child’s needs.

Ms. Nicole is a Lead Teacher who supports infants as they grow and reach new milestones. Inspired by her mother to teach, she creates hands-on experiences that help young children explore the world around them, from learning about seasons and weather to painting outdoors. Her love of crafting brings additional creativity to the classroom.

Ms. Makayla is an Assistant Teacher with three years of childcare experience. She encourages children to express their creativity, follow their curiosity and believe in their abilities. Inspired by an aunt who is a principal, Makayla chose teaching as a way to help children learn and grow. She brings imagination and encouragement to each classroom experience.

Ms. Shelby is a Lead Toddler Teacher and Georgetown native who enjoys helping young children build new skills as they grow. Inspired by her grandmother to teach, she brings music, movement and nature into the classroom. “Wheels on the Bus” is a favorite because it gets the children dancing together, while outdoor discoveries give them new ideas to explore.

Ms. Juana is an Assistant Teacher with five years of experience working with children. She enjoys helping children reach new milestones and experience the joy of discovery. She strives to be a compassionate, positive role model, encouraging children to believe in their abilities as they learn and grow.

Mrs. Demetra is a Lead Teacher who creates a nurturing, engaging classroom where children feel supported as they express themselves and discover new things. She values encouraging each child’s individuality and especially enjoys watching their curiosity and confidence grow.

Ms. Nikole is the Lead Teacher in the two- to three-year-old classroom with more than 28 years of early childhood experience. She spent 20 years running her own in-home child care program and has supported elementary students in special education. That depth helps her understand individual needs, guide children through important developmental changes and create a positive, nurturing classroom. She is working toward her Director’s License.

Ms. Rashmi is a Lead Teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Engineering Management. She brings an analytical perspective and hands-on approach to the classroom, encouraging children to explore ideas, build independence and feel supported as they learn. Inspired by her fifth-grade math teacher, she enjoys sharing her love of learning and encouraging children’s natural curiosity.

Ms. Lindsey is a Teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Psychology. Her education provides a foundation for understanding how children grow, build relationships and gain confidence. She creates a positive, encouraging classroom where children feel supported and values teamwork, kindness and friendship.

Ms. Baleria is a Lead Teacher with two years of childcare experience. She enjoys the energy and individuality children bring to the classroom and supports their curiosity through Goddard’s play-based approach to learning. She sees each day as a new opportunity to help children learn, grow and discover.

Ms. Zeta is a Resource Teacher who believes effective teaching starts with understanding each child’s needs and adjusting support accordingly. She works across classrooms, supporting children’s learning and helping teachers create responsive learning experiences.

Ms. Rajitha is an Assistant Teacher who enjoys the energy, creativity and imagination children bring to the classroom. She values learning alongside children and building meaningful relationships with them and their families. She chose early childhood education to make a positive difference in children’s lives.

Ms. A'Nia is an Assistant Teacher who has worked with children since 2019. She enjoys getting to know each child’s unique personality and helping children build confidence as they learn and grow. Inspired by her grandmother to pursue teaching, she brings patience, determination and encouragement to the classroom and helps children believe in what they can accomplish.

Ms. Emilly is a Teacher who has worked with children since 2024. She values the conversations and discoveries that make each school day different and believes every child deserves to feel that they belong. Inspired by her younger cousin to work with children, Emilly helps create a caring, supportive classroom where children can learn, grow and make meaningful connections.
