Our Goddard School Teachers

Sarah is the on-site owner for The Goddard School located in Cypress and Bridgeland. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and she and her husband are the proud parents of 4 teenage boys, including a set of triplets. Sarah recognized the need for quality childcare that could provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children and has been nothing short of impressed with The Goddard School commitment to create just that. A resident of Cypress, she is proud to bring this fun atmosphere to this area in which she and her family live. Her door will always be open for the thoughts, questions and comments from our families.

Ms. Kat is the Area Director for our Cypress 1 and Bridgeland locations. She has 25 years of experience as an early childhood educator. Kat attended the University of Houston and holds a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Kat has 20+ years experience as a Director and lead The Goddard School Cypress location for 10 years. She is an advocate for early childhood education and strongly believes in quality. Kat has led several schools through the NAEYC and Cognia Accreditation process and takes pride in maintaining the standards. Kat’s passion for the field comes from her deep desire to make a difference in the lives of all children.

Mrs. Valerie is our Director at The Goddard School. She has over 15 + years of experience working with young children. Valerie has her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston. She joined The Goddard School Cypress location in 2013 and transferred to our Bridgeland location to assume the Director role.

Mrs. Gabriela is the Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom and has 5 years of experience working with children. Gabriela has her Bachelors degree in Modern Humanities and believes that children learn best with love and kindness.

Mrs. Laura is the Lead Teacher in the First Steps classroom. Laura has 24+ years of experience working with young children. She believes that children learn by example, routine and repetition and will do her best to make sure every child is ready for the day.

Ms. Paola is the Assistant Teacher for the First Steps classroom. She has 5 years of experience and has her Bachelors degree in Library and Informational Sciences. Paola says children are smart and interesting. She says the most important thing to do is to teach and play with children.

Mrs. Irma is the Lead Teacher for our Young Toddlers classroom. She has 20+ years of experience working with young children and 11 of those years are with The Goddard School. Irma has a Child Development Associates. She believes that learning should be a fun experience she loves to sing and dance with her children.

Mrs. Kirenia is the Assistant Teacher in the Young Toddler classroom. She has 3.5 years of experience working with children 18-24 months and has her Bachelors in Humanities.

Mrs. Ruth is the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She has 3 years of experience working with children. Ruth believes the most important thing a teacher can do is teach children to believe in themselves.

Ms. Rosy is the Assistant Teacher in the Toddler classroom. She has previous Goddard experience and has her Bachelor's degree. Rosy believes children are playful and active and sometimes just need personal attention.

Mrs. Liliana is the Lead Teacher in our Get Set 1 classroom. She has 7 years of experience working with children. Lily says the best thing for children is to be aware of what they need because each child is different

Ms. Lindsay is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set 1 classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with children from Infants to Get Set. Lindsay understands that every child learns differently so it is important to be patient with them.

Ms. Desiree is the Lead Teacher in the Get Set 2 classroom. She has 4.5 years of experience working with children. Desiree's philosophy is to lead by example. She strives to be the best teacher and wants to be remembered by children with a fun and positive experience.

Ms. Sharlin is the Assistant Teacher in the Get Set 2 classroom. Sharlin has prior experience working with children and is currently attending Lone Star College. After starting to work with children, Sharlin realized that with just a smile on her face, she can bring such a positive effect on children.

Ms. Angelita is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with children. Angelita says you should love children first then you can teach them!

Mrs. Vanessa is the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom. She has 1 year of experience working with children and has her degree in General Education. Vanessa says children are generally kind and good natured. She believes children can learn and be anything they want to be.

Ms. Elizabeth is the Assistant Teacher for the Preschool 2 classroom. Elizabeth has 1 year of experience working with children and is currently attending Lonestar College. She believes that all children deserve to be shown love and she is excited to create a fun and safe learning environment.

Ms. Estella is the Lead Teacher in Pre K 2. She has 20+ years teaching children from infants to five years old. Estella has an Associates Degree in General Studies and a Child Development Associates. She believes that each child develops in their own time and strives to account for all differences in learning.

Ms. Rayne is our Administrative Assistant. Rayne has over 4 years of experience working with children including work in Cy Fair ISD. We are confident that she will make a great contribution to our school. Rayne believes the most important thing a teacher can do is truly care about the children and she is excited to see that at our school.

Ms. Josefina is the Assistant Teacher in the PreK 1 classroom. She has her Bachelors & is excited to work with children. Ms. Josefina says that children are generally happy.

Ms. Jordan is the Assistant Teacher in the PreK 2 classroom. She has 4 years of experience working with children and currently in school. Jordan believes all children are creative and explorative.

Ms. Erica is the Assistant Director at The Goddard School. Erica brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in early childhood education and is passionate about supporting children, families, and staff. Erica holds 15 years of experience working in early childhood education. Throughout her career, she has served in roles where she developed strong skills in curriculum planning, staff leadership, family engagement, and child development. We are confident that Erica's experience, dedication, and commitment to high-quality early childhood education will be a tremendous asset to our school. She is looking forward to getting to know each of our families and supporting our continued mission of providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for every child.

Ms. Anchal is our Lead Teacher in the PreK classroom. Ms. Anchal comes to us with 6 years of experience and has her Masters of Computer Applications. Ms. Anchal is excited to share her knowledge with children to help watch them learn and grow.

Ms. Shamari is our Preschool 2 Assistant Teacher. She has 2 years of experience working with children. Shamari is currently in school to be a nicu nurse. She believes that all children should feel safe, supported and encouraged.
