    David & Marcedes

    On-site Owners
    David and Marcedes are passionate and dedicated owners of The Goddard School of Avery Ranch. David, a longtime Austin resident brings a background as an applications engineer from his time in the Philadelphia area. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, he loves incorporating S.T.E.A.M into the children's daily activities. Marcedes is a true Austinite, born and raised in the heart of Texas. After attending St. Edward University, she ventured into various entrepreneurial opportunities. When they're not immersed in the world of education, David and Marcedes cherish family time at the lake, relish walks and hikes, and savor the energy of live music and sports events. Their newest joy is Sofia, their first child. Beyond their school, David and Marcedes play crucial roles in the community. They actively engage with organizations like HAAM, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and other local community groups and charities.

    Director of Admissions
    Darbi is our Director of Admissions here at the Goddard School. Darbi is equipped with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and brings over 27 years of experience working with children in and outside of the classroom. During her free time, she finds joy in spending time with her son on her family's ranch. She is excited about her role here and joining the team.

    Assistant Director
    Máxima is our Assistant Director at The Goddard School. With a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment, Máxima is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of young minds. With 5 years in child development, Máxima brings energy, enthusiasm, and a love for fostering positive learning experiences for children. As Assistant Director, Máxima plays a key role in shaping the school's environment, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere for every child to thrive. With a warm smile and a hands-on approach, Máxima is an integral part of The Goddard School community, contributing to the joy of watching young learners flourish every day.

    Administrative Assistant
    Meet Haleigh, our dedicated Administrative Assistant at The Goddard School! Armed with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she brings a unique blend of academic insight and passion for child development to our team. Beyond her administrative role, Haleigh cherishes family time, enjoys exploring new places, and expresses her vibrant creativity through painting. Ms. Haleigh is thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School and fosters our welcoming, warm community. Her diverse interests and genuine enthusiasm contribute to the nurturing atmosphere at The Goddard School, making her a dedicated advocate for the well-being and growth of every child in our community.

    Curriculum Coordinator
    Ms. Mayra is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K 2 Program, working with our 4-years-old and up children. Ms. Mayra attained her Bachelors degree in Education from San Diego Christian College. She is currently pursuing her Childcare Development Associates (CDA). Ms. Mayra has nearly 10 years of experience working with infants through school-age children, including special need children. She is very happy to be a part of The Goddard School because "I have the chance to gain more experience working with children, learn new skills, and receive support to further my education as a teacher." Ms. Mayra loves being a teacher because she “loves seeing them smile when they have accomplished a task. I love when they are being silly and put a smile on our faces.” Ms. Mayra enjoys reading, exercising, paddling board and spending time with her family. We are very excited to have Ms. Mayra in our Pre-K 2 Program!

    Kitchen Manager
    Meet Mrs. Nova, our Kitchen Manager, bringing a decade of experience working with children of all ages. A Round Rock resident for the past 14 years, Mrs. Nova is thrilled to be a part of Goddard, finding joy in the amusing and sweet things the children say. During her free time, Mrs. Nova enjoys playing board games and going on hikes with her family, making the most of her moments outside the kitchen.

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Sabrina is excited to join the Goddard team. She is a dedicated teacher with a passion for nurturing young minds, with over 10 years of teaching experience contributing to the education and safety of her students. In her free time, Sabrina finds joy in immersing herself in the world of movies, storybooks, or engaging in outdoors activities. Sabrina wants parents at Goddard to rest assured that she will go the extra mile to ensure the well-being and happiness of all the children under her care. With a heart full of love and a genuine dedication to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, Sabrina is not just a teacher but a nurturing presence in the lives of the children she teaches.

    Introducing Ms. Jenniffer, the Lead Teacher in our First Steps classroom, boasting three years of valuable experience in early childhood education. Not only does she take joy in teaching our students with love and respect, but she also values the learning experiences they provide. Ms. Jenniffer holds a degree in Administrative Law from The University of Los Andes in Venezuela. Beyond the classroom, her happiness extends to taking walks with her family and discovering new places. Eager for both personal and professional growth, Ms. Jenniffer is excited about the journey that lies ahead with the school!

    Toddlers Lead Teacher
    Ms. Stephanie is the Lead Teacher for our Toddler classroom. Ms. Stephanie joins Goddard with 12 years of childcare experience. Her favorite part about working with young children is getting to watch their personalities grow! In her free time, she enjoys going on hikes, baking, and channeling her creativity through painting!

    Get Set 1 Lead Teacher
    Ms. Kambri brings four years of valuable experience to Goddard and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. She has a passion for working with children and is dedicated to fostering their growth and development. In her free time, Kambri enjoys doing puzzles and exploring the city of Austin. She is enthusiastic about maintaining open communication with parents, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in their child's developmental journey. Kambri looks forward to contributing to the supportive and nurturing environment here at Goddard.

Thrilled to be a part of The Goddard School, Ms. Adrianna expresses her happiness, highlighting the joy of learning new lessons through children and building connections with her team. For her, the role of a teacher is particularly rewarding because of the constant smiles on children's faces and their innate love for fun and exploration.     Meet Ms. Amy, our esteemed Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 program, bringing an impressive 24 years of teaching experience in both Early Childhood Education and the ISD. A proud graduate of UT with a Bachelor's degree and certifications across various education fields, Ms. Amy is a seasoned educator. Passionate about preschool education, Ms. Amy believes that exposing children to cognitive, psychosocial, and physical development-based learning empowers them to explore their environment and develop verbal communication skills. Her dedication to fostering a holistic learning environment shines through in her approach. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Amy cherishes her time with her three children. Her hobbies include the expressive realms of painting and drawing, and she finds inspiration by visiting art museums. Ms. Amy's wealth of experience and enthusiasm make her an invaluable asset to our educational team at Goddard!
